Family and Pet Friendly Lake House around the corner from boat ramp. Sleeps 12

Spacious and charming Lake house. What better way to spend some fun times together.
We have a fully furnished 4 bedroom with 2 full bath property. The house is very open and wonderful for entertaining. The kitchen and coffee bar is fully stocked with the essentials. Kitchen has a gas range as well as a very stocked spice cabinet and all the cooking basics you could need (sugar, flour, oils, etc.)
Take a step outside to our wonderful outdoor retreat with tiki bar, fire pit, gas grill, blackstone and 3 covered seating areas. In the fenced yard we have Corn hole and Washers for your entertainment. We also have games and cards to play for entertainment and for the kids to enjoy. There is also covered parking for your cars or boat. There is two gas fireplaces in the house.
Swim in the sandy bottom part of the lake. Or just take a fun ride to the lake. There is some amazing fishing to be done.
We are only about a half mile to hwy 9 landing (recreational area)
Which also has a beach and playground. We are also only about a 5 min ride to Jellystone Park which has water slides and water activities
Rent or bring your own watercraft. There is also a boat ramp on our street you can use to put your boat or water toys in the lake.

We do have cameras located on outside of property for use when property is not being rented.

Perfect Lake Get Away

Beautiful home with wonderful hosts! The neighborhood is friendly and the lake is 2 minuets in a golf cart. All of the amenities one could ask for and more! It's a good way to get away from the world and enjoy the more important things in life.

Family time

We had a wonderful time together at the lake house. We were able to swim in the lake close by, eat great meals together and play lots of family games. Rooms were divided and separated enough to accommodate different families.

Amazing Host and House

Hosts were simply amazing. They went above and beyond any expectations. House is so cute and spacious. Close to lake but tucked away from the day to day hussle of day to day life. I wish this host had property all over the US because I would only book with them every trip. Thank you Sylvia and Bill. Your house and your hospitality were perfect.

Great home for a large family

Our large family really enjoyed staying at this home. After a day at the lake, the adults enjoyed the beautiful back yard and patio areas. The teenagers appreciated the WIFI and large living room. It is in a nice neighborhood for early morning runs. Bill and Sylvah welcomed us and showed us around. They were very responsive when we had questions. It had everything we needed - even a golf cart! Thanks for sharing your home.

Our stay at lake house

Hot tub was dirty. No ice maker and oven door glass would fall out when opened. Also bathroom sinks are very slow drainage.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry the hot tub was dirty on arrival. We drained and cleaned it prior to your arrival. The guest before you must have used it without permission. The guest that checked out the same day you checked in notified me they broke the glass on the oven and I immediately communicated the issue to you. There was no way to repair or replace within a short window. You seemed fine and acceptable with the issue. The icemaker not worker is clearly stated as no ice maker in the listing, I am sorry if that was missed when booking. I will address slow drainage of sinks as well.

Property was exactly as described. The host was quick to answer any questions prior to arrival and confirmed arrival day of trip. We didn’t cook, but if we had the kitchen was well stocked. Our group was 3 families, 6 adults, 4 kids, and 1 dog and we were very comfortable. The rooms are pretty tiny, but the community space more than makes up for that. The bathrooms were great. The backyard is fabulous! The kids and dog loved the room to run around.. The fire pit was awesome as well as the hot tub. The area is very quiet. We had the best time!

Amazing property owner...very unfriendly neighbors.

The owner of this property was amazing! We could not have asked for a better person to manage this property. The home had tons of space. Wifi was down but that proved to be such a blessing. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions and checked in with us often. The property is not on the lake. Getting to the lake was a nightmare. The property owners on the lake were very quick to let us know we were not welcomed there. Most access points to the lake have been closed and there is no where to park where we did not get yelled at for being in the wrong place. If you have a boat there is a dock very near by. However, we were there to paddleboard and getting the boards to the lake was a challenge. Aside from the amazing owner, we were treated pretty rudely. I would for sure stay with this owner again but we would have to make alternate arrangements to access the water because it was clear Texans were not welcomed there. Just be kind y'all!

Great stay for our family lake weekend!

Sylvah was very sweet and helped us prepare before our stay. The stairs were a bit difficult for our older family members, but we were able to make it work. The outdoor area was very cute with chairs, fire pit, bar area, and games. We brought our golf cart to ride around area and found a great beach nearby.

Family vacation

We stayed here for our family vacation, the home was lovely had everything we needed. The homeowners where great, very helpful. If I could change anything, I'd want to be closer to the lake and swim area, you have to load up drive there, then park and walk down a golf cart path carrying everything. The home had advertised a golf cart however it wasn't available when we arrived (motor issues) , even with a golf cart it would of taken multiple trips back and forth for a family and ice chest, chairs etc....

Nice people,but not as advertised,no golf cart available,had plumbing problems,air did not cool very good,have stayed in rentals before at other places and had much better experiences,sorry but would not stay there again

I did let you know before you came that the golf cart was not working due to a previous renter doing damage to it. I do apologize for that it is broken. I did wave the pet fee for a dog that you did not get approved to bring and did not pay a pet fee to bring. You also showed up 4 hours early and I was kind enough to let you come on In and enjoy the Lakehouse. also as far as the plumbing goes your family stopped the toilet up and we came over and addressed it and unstopped it immediately. I hope you have a wonderful summer. Sylvah

Family weekend

Property is a great location and offered plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 kids. Beds were comfy. Good outdoor space. We were disappointed in the overall cleanliness of the property though and lacking some basic amenities that we are used to having - such as a bottle opener and a pizza cutter.

I’m sorry you felt that it was not clean but I did personally cleaned it myself. I know the floors could appear to look dirty but they are concrete and are stained. We make sure everything is cleaned and sanitized before each visit. Oh and thank you for the suggestion for a pizza cutter and I will make sure we have one fir the next visitors.

1/2 way destination

We had so much fun. Our family live in Texas and Missouri, so this is the perfect 1/2 way spot. We had a great time and will definitely be doing it again. The owners were very responsive to our questions and we appreciated it. Thanks for a great 3 day weekend.

Great Floor Plan

We had a great time and enjoyed the home and neighborhood. Floorplan is great with the bedrooms separated for privacy. There is a large living area and bedroom at the entrance floor. 4 steps up on the main floor is kitchen, dining room,coffee bar, laundry room, and master suite with bathroom. 4 steps down on the back side of the home are a bunk room with full sized bed bunks, a king bedroom, and a second bathroom. There are lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy as well. We loved having the use of the golf cart to tour the neighborhood and go down to Beach 2. It is a nice private sand beach. Water has a gradual slope and a sand bottom. A perfect beach for our little family to enjoy. Bill & Sylvah are genuinely interested in providing a positive experience and left us a lovely goody basket and a surprise for our 5 year old. It was truly thoughtful and made her day! We enjoyed visiting with Bill & Sylvah. They are friendly and interesting.

Wonderful weekend getaway!

My family of 5 had a great weekend at this lake house. Sylvah was very accommodating and helpful if we had any questions. We enjoyed rides on the golf cart and time at the neighborhood beach. Would recommend to anyone!!

Nice house and the owners were very accomodating.

Our stay started off a little shaky but got better as time went on. It poured rain the first 2 days causing 1 bedroom to get water in it and soak the occupants clothes and luggage. The owners were called and they came right over and cleaned it up. After the 2nd time they actually dug a small drainage channel around the affected area. My boat was not working properly and they offered to take us fishing on theirs. Golf cart was a godsend as you need one to get around unless you like to walk. The AC was not working properly and repairman had been called but in the mean time the owners had portable AC units put in the house which kept it cool to a point. It was just a perfect storm for our stay but they bent over backwards to make it as nice as possible.
