The house was perfect for our son’s wedding at The Cuvier club. We were able to walk everywhere. The garage was a nice parking bonus because street parking can be tricky in La Jolla. The kitchen was well stocked and they had a new filtered drinking water system. We were all very comfortable. A/C was sometimes uneven in the upstairs bedrooms. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home.

Great location

Loved the place. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. We walked almost everywhere. Would definitely rent there again.

Great location

Great location to base your exploration of La Jolla from. Given location to El Pescador, felt justified in eating there 3x this visit! Comfortable space to spread out as a family and not feel on top of each other for the stay and again, this listing is all about the amazing walkable location!

La Jolla Joy

The property was very comfortable for a small group. A good layout in terms of the bedrooms for privacy. A great location for walking to beaches, shops, restaurants, groceries, etc. I will say the television was a bit difficult to navigate but someone came out to assist us as soon as we got in touch with the hosts. It was wonderful to have the back patio to hang out on! All in all we had a great stay!

Amazing La Jolla house

My family had a great experience at the house. Pictures are very actuate. House is very spacious. We had plenty of gathering options to spend time together as a family and still be able to retreat to separate spaces as needed. The location is Amazing!!! Walking distance to great restaurants and main areas of La Jolla, as well the ability to walk to beaches through a great neighborhood with plenty of beautiful houses to see. My only complaint, which did not even affect my 5 star review, is the quality of the bedding, pillows, and towels. We were only provided one small bath towel per person, which is not ideal for a long stay and we had to wash towels multiple times. Overall, amazing stay and the property manager was very responsive and willing to assist getting items left behind back! Much appreciated.

We love this home because of it's wonderful location too! It's perfect for all families and groups who enjoy all kinds of shopping, restaurants and the ocean within walking distance. Great location

The location of the property was perfect. It was close to the beach and very close to restaurants, and a grocery store. Everything we needed was close by with no need of driving anywhere. With that said, our check in process was less than ideal. We didn’t get the welcome “kit” so we had no idea how to get in to the place. We called Ocean properties and they verbally gave us the code and said they would send it through email, however we didn’t get it until hours later after contacting Vrbo costumer service. It was frustrating because we couldn’t leave the house since we didn’t have the code to come back in. Another big thing was the overall cleanliness of the place. First the refrigerator smelled horribly like fish. The ice also smelled like fish and we were unable to use it. We have a crawling toddler and the floors were disgusting. We had to clean the floors in order to let my toddler crawl on them. We also cleaned the refrigerator and threw the ice away but that didn’t help with the fish smell at all. Overall, it was an okay stay. The location makes it worth the price, however, for how much they charge for the cleaning fee, one would think the place would be cleaner.
