Relaxing family getaway in San Diego

Hello from sunny San Diego, California!

Our house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, air-conditioned house, with a lovely yard and play structure, walking distance to a huge park with playground, field, and walking trail. We're only a 15-20 minute drive to Balboa Park, museums, the San Diego Zoo, and countless beaches. There’s also plenty of hiking nearby and it serves as a great home base for trips to Palm Springs, Los Angeles, Mexico, and beyond.

The space:
The house is fully-furnished and move-in ready; includes wifi, washer and dryer. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need for cooking, including coffee maker, blender, air fryer, instant pot, pots, pans, silverware, plates, glassware. The kitchen accommodates dining room seating for six. The open plan living space has plenty of seating for everyone and an Apple TV.

This place is great for families with young kids! The neighborhood is super quiet, and the house comes with everything you'd need for young kids, toddlers, or babies -- including a toddler chair (Tripp Trapp), children's plates/bowls/cups, tons of toys, a crib and children's bed, and a separate play room chock full of kids' toys and books.

There are three bedrooms:
+ primary: cal king bed, full bath en suite
+ bedroom 2: twin size loft bed, toddler crib, comfy chair for story time
+ bedroom 3: primarily used as office, but we have a queen air mattress available

The backyard has a fun swing set for the little ones, outdoor seating for adults and kids, including an outdoor dining set and a lounge area with electric fire pit. In all, the backyard could easily seat 8+ people.

The front yard is recently landscaped and a lovely place to enjoy the peace and quiet with your morning coffee while watching the Monarch butterflies, hummingbirds, and other birds that like to frequent the garden. There's a huge couch, chairs, and umbrella so you never have to leave the patio. And there'a fresh vegetable garden that you're welcome to help yourself to! It's a great neighborhood to ride bikes around, or wander over to the nearby park for a nature walk.

No animals (especially cats, we're allergic!)
