Mountain Views Hike, Hot Tub, Sauna & Seven Springs
Book your family getaway in the Laurel Highlands. This spacious, contemporary retreat is light-filled and designed for gathering in nature’s beauty. Every detail balances comfort with clean lines that frame expansive mountain views and deliver spa-like amenities inside. Start your morning with coffee in the sunroom, relax under the stars in the outdoor hot tub, recharge in the dedicated sauna, or unwind with a meditative practice in the Zen room.
Explore nature, then return to spa-like — thoughtfully curated by us as owner-hosts for a personal, attentive stay. We are delighted to invite you to stroll or bike the Indian Creek Valley Trail, cast a line in the Class A trout stream just 5 minutes away, or head to nearby Seven Springs and Hidden Valley ski slopes. After a day outdoors, unwind at home:
• Gather at the 22-foot custom kitchen island to cook, play, and share meals.
• Cozy up by the fireplace in the media room or cheer on your team with the 75` UHD TV.
• Take in sweeping valley views from the east deck or enjoy sunsets over the marsh from the west deck with hot tub and firepit.
• End the evening in luxury bedding with down comforters, crisp linens, and plenty of pillows.
This home’s heart is its open-concept living, dining, and kitchen space, perfect for holidays, family reunions, spa retreats, ski trips, or rafting weekends. The modern kitchen is fully stocked for chefs and spacious enough for helpers (or onlookers), so everyone stays connected.
Nearby highlights include hiking and whitewater rafting at Ohiopyle, plus the architectural masterpieces of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob.

The entire property is yours to explore, with the exception of the basement, where we store supplies. We have over an acre, bounded by pine trees along the road, but also including the overflow parking lot on the west side of the yard. The driveway by the house has room for 3 cars and 8-10 more can fit in the overflow parking.
We want you to be delighted and are dedicated to hosting our guests in comfort. We feel so good when we arrive at our valley house and want you to feel the same way. We are both experienced travelers who have stayed in homes and hotels all over the world. We know that clean design and thoughtful amenities are the foundation of a good experience.
We host with careful intention and visit our home often. We have an amazing local crew that is likewise invested in insuring that we meet your expectations. We are available via text phone call, and through your platform app before, during and after your stay.
We are ideally located for the most popular attractions that the Laurel Highlands have to offer. An easy 10-minute drive from the turnpike, the house is less than 15 minutes away from both Seven Springs and Hidden Valley (to the north) and 20 minutes away from Ohiopyle State Park and Fallingwater (to the south). Melcroft Market, the neighborhood grocery store is less than a minute past the house, local favorite Sparks Coffee is minutes away and Champion Food & Fuel, at the corner of County Line Rd and PA-711 has a gas station and convenience store that is open late. Firewood and beer are available from several vendors you will pass between the turnpike and the house.
There are stores and trails within walking distance. However, being out in the countryside, a car is essential for most other trips as there are no public transit or ride-sharing services.
Our home is on Indian Creek Valley Road, which is a scenic byway leading down to Ohiopyle, so it is kept well-cleared in the winter. Unlike many other properties in the area, it remains accessible without 4-wheel drive in the winter months. We have screened the yard with large pines trees, but you will hear cars drive by when the windows are open.
We generally find the mountain air to be cool, especially overnight, but we do have central A/C in all parts of the house except the front addition that houses the media room/downstairs master bedroom.
Often the best way to maintain a comfortable temperature is to use the fans to bring the cool air in. Heat is, likewise, central in the main house and controlled room-by-room in the front.
We are in the country, so there are a fair number of critters who would love to make it inside. We have screens on all the windows and a regular pest control service.
- NOTE: Firewood is not provided at the property but can be purchased at several of the local stores near the property. If a larger quantity is desired, we can also provide a contact who will deliver by truck.
For your vacation, we have provided:
• Well-appointed beds with memory foam mattresses, multiple pillows, fluffy down comforters, and large, cozy throw blankets - all made up and ready for you with cotton sheets;
• Plenty of fluffy bath towels, hot tub towels, and makeup removal towels;
