PET FRIENDLY WITH STIPULATIONS
We welcome well trained dogs to stay in this home. If traveling with a pet, please note that a non-refundable pet fee will be added after booking. We require that your dog be completely potty trained and prefer dogs older than 2 years old. Crate Trained pups are preferred to deter mischievous behavior while you and your party are enjoying the beach. It is understood that while we do allow dogs with the mentioned stipulations any damages that occur during your stay will be charged to the credit card on file with the minimum fee being $350.00. Additional Pet Fee is applied and collected after the booking is made.


INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens & towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

One of the most favorite places we have stayed down there and I grew up in Santa Rosa Beach. The home was well done in layout and amenities. Pretty clean. Close to a lot of things. This one is a sleeper place to stay. Hope we get the chance to stay again soon.

Great Location, Poorly Cleaned Property

I recently stayed at this home with my family & we were excited about the beautiful decor & great location near the beach. The house was well-decorated & the golf cart made getting around easy & enjoyable.That said, our stay was impacted by several cleanliness & maintenance issues. We understand that perfection isn’t realistic in a vacation rental but the home didn’t appear to have been properly cleaned. The floors were so dirty that our feet were black shortly after arrival. The oven had burnt food inside that caused it to smoke when we turned it on & the coffee maker & other small appliances were disgustingly dirty. The washer smelled of mildew & had visible mold. WiFi worked fine for Netflix on the tv but barely worked on our phones.One of the main reasons we booked was the hot tub, which was a huge disappointment. It was dirty with gobs of hair stuck to the drains & grime in the seats. The screen showed “OH” (overheating) & the jets wouldn’t turn on. We contacted Panhandle Getaways on 7/3 but no one showed until 7/5. We weren’t home when they arrived but when we returned it was still broken w/no update. Nothing had been removed from the drain but the walls appeared to have been wiped down. We had the temp at 98F, but it continued heating beyond that & continuously displayed “OH” & was too hot to be used. (I like it hot but it was too hot to even get in)This property has great potential due to its location & decor but the lack of cleanliness really impacted our stay.

Family time getaway

We planned a trip with our 4 adult children and 1 grandchild and wanted a home that could comfortably accommodate us, and that was easily accessible to the beach. This home was amazing. Perfect location, beautifully decorated and with every amenity imaginable. The golf cart, bikes and beach chairs were an added bonus. Communication with the managers was amazing as they were always available to answer questions. We loved our stay and hope to return again next year! Awesome place!

The property was nice overall and looked like expected from the pictures. The location and neighborhood were great. It was convenient to all that the 30A area has to offer and very walkable. We were somewhat disappointed in the cleanliness of the house and by the lack of maintenance of some of the furnishings and amenities provided.

Beautiful Home Close to the Beach

We had a wonderful stay at this property. There were six of us (all adults) and we were all very comfortable. The beach was a short walk or a very short golf cart ride away, and the house had a lot of room to spread out for those that weren’t beach people. There were plenty of beach accessories in the garage to use (umbrella, boogie boards, etc.) which was a very pleasant surprise. There were also several games that we found to play in the evenings, more geared towards adults which was perfect for us. It’s a pet-friendly property, and there is a small fenced-in yard with artificial turf, so it made cleaning up after the dogs super easy. There are also two screened-in areas which were great for sitting outside without worrying about bugs. If you’re staying longer than a couple of days, I’d recommend bringing some trash bags, dishwasher and laundry pods. There’s a couple of each to get you started, but we had to grab a couple more to get us through our full week stay. Overall, it was exactly what we expected and more, and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for large family get away

The house is much bigger than the pictures appear. We had such a good time cooking and grilling as a family. It is an easy walk to the beach, where we spent a lot of our time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!! Thank you so much for a memorable vacation!

Beautiful home with issues

The house was beautiful. However, there were some issues that we considered to be a big deal that never got addressed during our week long stay. The hot tub was broken- a maintenance man came out and said it couldn't be fixed while we were there. They did refund a small amount for this inconvenience which was much appreciated. The next thing that i considered to be very concerning, but was only met with an apology, was the screens in both the back and side porch were broken and flying around in multiple areas. (We had 4 children there, two of them were 2 years old and under) This was a huge hazard for the little ones. They couldn't understand not to keep trying to go through them. My daughter fell 3 times on the rocks below the screens on the back porch. The side porch has about a 3 ft drop. We ended up having to barricade in front of that so the little kids wouldn't go through it and potentially hurt themselves severely. When we called to notify someone they said they were already aware of this to which we were appalled no one had told us!! To make matters worse they said they couldn' be fixed our entire stay!! When I complained again because the little kids kept trying to go through them, they dismissed it. Almost like they didn' want to draw further attn to it. My daughter had scratches on her legs from the rocks below. This was very upsetting. The last thing was there was 6 roaches total that were killed. Pest control was sent out to spray but that also was very upsetting

Cousins Reunion

The beach house was perfect for our reunion! Each bedroom had its own bathroom to ensure privacy. The large table was a perfect gathering place for conversation or cards. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful beach house that was close to the beautiful Emerald Coast beaches as well as local shops and restaurants.

The PERFECT Beach House!

Couldn’t have dreamed up a more perfect and luxurious beach home! My wife and I eloped in Dune Allen Beach with our four closest friends, and this house had everything we needed for our long weekend. The kitchen was STOCKED! It’s like Panhandle Getaways anticipated our every need with the amenities in that house. The screened in porch and bathrooms were definitely our favorite parts. Hope to be back here one day!

Family Stay

very nice clean house well equipped great location. Only suggestion maybe a wall clock and more chairs in the screen porches, entry rugs for feet, we had 6 adults and 4 small children.. over all wonderful rental would rent again.

Beautiful home with a great location close to the beach that you will love. As soon as you open the front door you will find a very livable home that has everything you need for a great stay. Amazing Beach Home

We stayed a week, spring break with our grandsons and kids. The home is absolutely gorgeous. As soon as you walk in the door, you are impressed. We had a few minor things at the beginning, nothing unusual for getting used to a new home, but the management team was on it immediately. We had no other complaints or issues during our stay. We will definitely go back there. The distance to the beach is wonderful. Other than the construction which will be over soon, the neighborhood is lovely and quiet.

Beautiful Home

The house had a great location. It was exactly as pictured (beautiful) and was fully stocked with everything we needed and more! The beds were very comfortable. We had great experiences around the area. The renters prior to us didn’t put the golf cart key back in the lock box… so with the crappy response time, we weren’t able to utilize it, which was a huge disappointment because that was the entire reason I paid more for that house over others. We ended up having to make plans because we didn’t have access to it and the last afternoon there- they finally realized the problem, but it was too late. And when we got back to the house, it was raining. They did try to make it right by giving us an extra two hours for check out, but with the long travel day ahead and rain again this morning, still wasn’t able to ride it. Other than that- the house was amazing!

Everything we needed!

Beautiful home, very well stocked with more than you will ever need. We enjoyed our comfortable time here with our adult children (but if you have kids, everything is there for you as well!). The location was great! Having the golf cart was so helpful for taking gear to the beach, but even if you walk or ride a bike, it's still super convenient! Beautiful white sands, quiet beach, just the way we like it. Close to restaurants, grocery shopping. Getting in touch with staff for questions was easy, with always a prompt response. There were a few home repairs that needed to be done, but management was aware, and inconvenience was negligible. We'd definitely stay here again if we get the chance.
