The house was clean and was perfectly described in the listing. Chelsea was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend staying here. We all loved playing pinball, sitting by the fire and relaxing in the pool. Didn’t feel crowded in the least.

Beautiful Bayou!

From beginning to end Chelsea provided extraordinary service. We brought our boat and she went above and beyond to provide a hose for us to wash it down in the water! From having extra board games for us to play including games for the kids to having extra appliances throughout the house. She answered our phone calls without hesitation. 10/10 would stay here again.

Walked in to a super clean, contemporary and light space, so welcoming. Everything in the space catered to our group…awesome kitchen (central to space), brand new bathrooms, and of course the outdoor area that when we opened the door, all we saw was pol and ocean.

Inexperienced renter

The property is beautiful but, when we arrived, she messaged us that the previous renters had bleached all the towels and she was having some delivered that evening. Been in a later conversation, she admitted that she had never rented the home to anyone prior. So she lied to us. She gave us permission to bring three dogs, and then kept part of our security deposit because of hair on the bed and hair on the floor that she had to sweep up. When people have said no dogs on furniture I’ve already brought my own sheets to keep the hair off. She never asked that. There were three pee’s on her vinyl plank floor that we missed. As it is vinyl plank flooring that should not have damaged the floor. Also sent me a picture of dried grass claiming it was poop in the back yard. If you travel with dogs I would suggest skipping over this house. Also the main shower has no hot water. I tried twice and let it run for 30 mins. No hot water came out. We’re tried it with both directions.

Great Place to Stay.

We had an awesome time on our vacation at the house. Perfect place to tie up your boat and leave it in the water. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived. Chelsea stayed in communications with us the whole time we were there if we had questions or anything else we need. Thanks for letting us enjoy your home.

Family vaca

The house had plenty of room and yard was nice. There was no propane in the grill, which we are informed we had to fill. My son-in-law did several repairs which the lady came and paid him for which was very nice. Street was nice and quiet

We had the best time here with family and friends. We celebrated our daughter's birthday and chelsea left a peesent for her 💙 i thought that was very sweet and thoughtful. Definitely recommend if your looking to have an amazing and relaxing time. Beautiful home and beautiful vew.

Perfect getaway

A wonderful waterfront home with a beautiful backyard. Easy to check in and out. Nice fenced yard that was perfect for our dogs. Hope to stay again during warmer weather.

Family gathering

First of all Chelsea is great. She is very responsive and made sure that we were taken care of. The house and property are very nice and we enjoyed relaxing in the back watching pelicans and porpoises fishing. The house is furnished nicely but the bedrooms lack lamps on both sides of the beds and there is no place to hang towels...minor complaints. We would stay there again.

Cool weather

Overall the house was great and worked great with our families needs. However, due to the cool weather during our stay the fact that the pool wasn’t working the whole week didn’t have as great of an impact. Hopefully they get the pool fixed as it’s one reason why we choose this property.

Excellent Family Gathering

My brothers and our families came to celebrate our fathers 90th birthday. The property was perfect as it was near our parents place in Sand Pebble Point. The "game room" was great for the kids. We got to enjoy the large fire pit and beautiful sunsets. And having 3 bathrooms really worked. The only thing that didn't work was the condition of the pool, but the owner said that was being taken care of for future use. We would very likely come back!

Great for families!

The amenities here are plentiful! Outdoor areas are as described and the view is gorgeous. The host even provided a gas grill to make cooking family meals a snap. Lots of sleeping room, top if the line appliances in the open concept kitchen, and a game room with a pinball machine, foosball table, and video arcade game made they stay comfortable for our family. Chelsea was a generous host and happy to help us in any way.

Relaxing Getaway on the water

Our stay was fabulous, the place has a great common area inside and outside for a large group to enjoy, the game room is wonderful for kids. Boaters will love it, as easy to get out to the channel from their dock, and coming home to the pool afterwards was great. Being a new VRBO rental, a few things were needed and Chelsea went above and beyond to address those items. The kids already have said they want to come back next year.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

There are so many reasons to choose Paradise of the Bayou, and I would like to point out just a few. Being a mother myself, safety is my number one factor when planning any trip. Port Richey is a small city, limits being roughly only 2 square miles. That is amazing because we have our own police station and fire station with response times being less than 4 minutes. The second reason to choose Paradise on the Bayou is location. This property is on one of the best lots in the city, having a large yard directly on the bayou, and it does not matter if it is low or high tide you can get your boat out to the Gulf of Mexico. Those properties on the canals can’t give you that. Finally, this home is gorgeous. Custom kitchen, open flood plan, all new appliances and 2 master suits. Property was fully renovated in 2021.
