Absolutely Amazing!

This property was one of the nicest we ever stayed at! We loved the "retro" theme to the house as well as al the modern features. The pool was a great hang out location. Sunday morning watching all the Amish horse and buggies going up the road for the church was very cool! The host was wonderful! Will be going back there again, I'm sure!

Senior Family Fun

Wonderful time spent with my 2 sisters, husband, brother-in-Law. We are all senior citizens and we’re Blessed to spend it with our parents who are senior senior citizens: 90 and 93. God is so good.

Amish Country Getaway

This Willow Street, PA property was a wonderful spot for a quick, family escape to Lancaster. The house is in close proximity to wonderful attractions. During our 3 night, 4 day escape, we were able to do the following activities while there: Turkey Hill Experience, Lancaster Central Market, Dutch Wonderland, Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, Kitchen Kettle Village, breakfast at Speckled Hen, a buggy ride, and Strasburg Rail Road. A highlight of the trip was splashing in the pool after a long, hot day in the sun exploring Amish country. I highly recommend this property. It was great for our family traveling with 4 children ranging in age from 2-8.

Bedroom amenities on first level was terrible.

First of all, the room had a through the wall a/c and heat unit. It never worked correctly. It would show the temps on the control but it was never even close to being accurate. Also, the TV never worked. The owner needs to explain that the first level bedroom is not for older people. Going up and down the stairs to the rest of the house is a challenge for someone in their 80s. The setting in the countryside was great and the rest of the house was very nice.

Hi Jerry, the listing description clearly states that the ground floor is an accessible in-law quarters and that there are stairs to access the rest of the house from that level. I never received any messages from you regarding how to work the wall heating and cooling unit, which is brand new this year and actually does operate as it should if you know how to operate it properly. Same with the tv on that level-it does work. I would have been happy to walk you through these issues if I had known you were having trouble and I am truly sorry you had this experience without my knowing!
