Del Haven Delight

This cozy little Del Haven cottage is perfect for your getaway! It is a 15 minute drive to most of the shore towns or a short bike ride to enjoy the serenity of the bay that is only a few blocks away. You can have the best of both worlds! The backyard is enclosed by fence with a fire pit and hammock with plenty of space!!! We have a fully stocked kitchen so you can easily prepare meals at home or there are plenty of restaurants within minutes. There is a driveway and off street free parking so need to worry about multiple vehicles. There is a queen bed in one room and 2 twin beds in another. We provide bikes, beach chairs, sand toys, a beach umbrella and beach towels! There is also a playground 2 blocks away if you have kiddos with you!

This cottage was close to all of the things we wanted to enjoy in the area. We enjoyed the peaceful setting. It was nice to enjoy the front porch .Although we did not do any cooking, all the supplies you would need are there. I would suggest that the 2 single beds in the second bedroom are most suitable for children. Thanks for a great stay.

We found the house was clean and comfortable, well located for local attractions and it has a parking space which is useful. But we were a little disappointed by the kitchen facilities, We chose this house because it was advertised as having a kitchen, an important feature for us because we like to cook fresh food particularly for our son. However we found the gas hobs didn’t work very well, one of them was very difficult to turn off once ignited which was concerning. .We reported it and the host replied they would fix it when we left. This wasn’t satisfactory because we needed it working whilst we were there.

Cozy and perfect

This house was perfect for our girls trip! Michelle was very responsive and made sure that our visit was perfect. The multi-zone AC/heat was a game changer for us. Everyone was able to change it to their preferred temperature without making the others uncomfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. It is centrally located to every activity and beach imaginable. We will definitely book again the next time we are in the area.

We stayed here for my daughter’s softball tournament. It’s a quiet neighborhood.Michelle was very responsive. It’s a lovey home if you have a family of 4 and just want to spend the weekend. I would definitely come back!

Wonderful stay

Perfect stay for us, small 2 bedroom, but just what we needed in a nice quiet neighborhood. Close to the bay, still very accessible to cape may or wildwood. Host was very responsive. Towels, linens all provided, even some beach accessories and snacks! Thank you, would stay again!

Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, this spotless home was the perfect beach getaway! We loved how clean and comfortable everything was, and the location made it super easy to get to the shore. We love that our host thoughtfully provided beach chairs and extra towels, which made our beach days even better. Thank you for such a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Our family loved this quiet little haven. It was the perfect spot for us, the neighborhood was friendly and a bit removed. It was perfectly located for a lot of the things we wanted to do. The home itself was charming and you could tell it's one that had been well-loved. Michelle was great and answered any and all questions we had and we will hopefully be staying again in the future.

Small family vacay

When you walk in you immediately feel at home. It was perfect for me, my husband, daughter. We were 15-20 mins from the beaches, and the boardwalk. Also, a cute little playground down the road. Linens, towels were provided and a fully stock kitchen with all your cooking needs. We will definitely be back next year!

A relaxing getaway

Michelle was an incredibly responsive host. The house was perfect, situated close to the bay to just relax and getaway. It was nice not having to bring sheets or towels. We enjoyed going to the Wildwood Crest beach many of the days, and Michelle’s food recommendations were spot on! We will definitely be back.

Charming place

The place is very welcoming. Fully stocked kitchen with anything you needed to cook. Location was convenient to about 3 different beaches with a 15-20min drive.

Nice quiet family home

We really enjoyed how “homey” this place was. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and it felt like a home away from home. We had everything we needed to cook meals and entertain our toddler. The separate AC units made everything really comfortable. Only 15 minutes drive from several options of beaches on both the bay and the ocean in Wildwood and Cape May. The owner was very helpful in recommending places and also brought over some beach items for us to use. There’s a playground within walking distance and a walk down to marshes and some very natural beaches for watching gulls and crabs. A great place for a family home base close to beaches!

Enjoyed our stay

We stayed a couple nights over Memorial Day weekend and had a great stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with basic supplies. Check in and out was easy. We would stay again.

Michelle was a great host excellent communication, cute place, quiet neighborhood! The house has plenty of linens and supplies to make our stay comfortable. We only needed to buy bottled water and tissues! Definitely would go back!

Wonderful House & Wonderful Host

We stayed here when our son was graduating from USCG bootcamp in Cape May. (BTW - if you are in town for this, consider booking this house - it's an easy 10-15 minute drive from the training center). Michelle might possibly be the nicest, most helpful, accommodating host I have ever booked with. She is extremely friendly and easy to communicate with and gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants. When we had to delay our plans for a week she quickly and easily booked our new dates with no issues. The house is absolutely adorable - in a very quiet neighborhood in Villas, NJ. It is less than 1/2 a mile to the bay so we walked down there several times to sit by the water. The house has everything you need including a washer/dryer. The beds are comfy, the A/C works great in the humid summer and the house is ridiculously clean. There's a really cute fenced in backyard with a hammock and a fire pit. We felt so at home here, I was sad to leave!
