Quaint, Cozy, Updated Home -- 15 min to US Air Force Museum!

The home offers two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with a double bed, and a family room with a single sleeper sofa in the basement. There are two full baths, one on the main level with a tub and the other in the basement with a shower. There's plenty of paved parking for you and your family members coming together for a vacation.

Come home and relax to a comfortable living room and basement family room after a day of seeing what the area has to offer. Get cozy in front of one of the three TVs... in the living room, the family room, or the master bedroom. Prepare a feast in the kitchen, which is stocked with the pots, pans, and cooking utensils you need. There's a microwave, coffee maker, ice maker, rice cooker, toaster, and hot and cold water filter/dispenser in addition to the full-size refrigerator/freezer and stove. There's also a washer, dryer, and ironing board so you can do your laundry and press your clothes. Centralized air conditioning and heating will keep you comfortable, no matter which season you come for a visit.

Experience the sights and sounds of Dayton and the surrounding communities. Check out the National Museum of the US Air Force and learn why Dayton is called the Birthplace of Aviation. Discover Dayton’s rich heritage of creativity, invention, and milestones in innovation that changed the nation and the world at Carillon Historical Park. Our friend group has stayed here twice to go to the Ohio Renaissance Festival. The hosts are delightful. The property is clean, well stocked, and easily accessible. Great place to stay.

Loved, Loved, Loved this property! Host was absolutely spectacular in all regards….from the listing accuracy and completeness to communication to readiness for the stay zero issues! Cleanliness wow, have stayed in VRBOs many times in many locations and this location one of best ever, every inch of the space clean and immaculate! Lastly great planning for the guest, “extra towels in the dresser in bedroom 2”, just one example…on and on could go but bottom line is if could have rated higher would have gladly done so!!

What a wonderful stay! We were in town to celebrate Family Weekend with our freshman son at the University Of Dayton. We did not want to stay in a hotel and by the time I was booking in May, so much of the short term rentals were already picked over. This checked so many boxes…within 15-ish min to campus, at least 2 bed/2bath and greeeat reviews! The home was spotless, inviting, spacious comfortable. Annnd affordable! 1 minute to hop on the freeway and close to other conveniences. Marian was terrific to work with. While it did not bother us, this home is on a main road, not a neighborhood. Plenty of parking on the driveway and to turn around. This is a fantastic short term rental and we would definitely rent again from Marian and this home.

We had picked this rental for the two bedrooms and two bathrooms with the lower level option since we were expecting to have a third family member joining us. We enjoyed having that space - even with just the two of us. We enjoyed some pinball competitions as a wind down in the evenings. We did have to put up some cardboard in the bedroom windows to block the lights from the street lights, businesses and cars. Blackout shades/curtains on those windows would help.We were thrilled to have found this rental. The space functioned as needed for our stay and was centrally located to the family were were visiting. Plus, the rental was close to where we lived 30ish years ago; so we had some trips down memory lane driving around the area. We would consider this property again in the future.

Clean and comfortable

Lovely home for our extended weekend in Dayton! This host thought of everything to make us comfortable. Check in was easy and there was a treat waiting for the family. It was an easy distance to everything. The kitchen and bathroom were all stocked. The teens had their own space to hang out downstairs and enjoyed the pinball machine. One thing to know- there was a club nearby that played loud music on the weekend, which kept the girls up who were sleeping downstairs. Other than that one neighborhood detail (obviously not in the owner's control) this was one of the more perfect- and CLEAN rentals we've stayed in.

Very clean and cozy stay.The property was exceptionally clean and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. While the surrounding area isn’t ideal, the home itself was well-maintained and inviting. One issue was that the air conditioning was set too high upon arrival, and the house was quite warm the first night as it took time to cool down. Fortunately, the temperature was comfortable for the rest of the stay.

Mini vacation

We went to the Air Show and then 2 days at Air Force Museum. Awesome trip. Our host was most gracious and very helpful as we needed to find a Catholic Church. Her responses to my messages were immediate. The home is lovely and well taken care of. I would book with her anytime

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was super clean, felt very safe, and had everything we needed. The only downside—which isn’t the host’s fault—was the traffic noise. There were quite a few ambulances and fire trucks passing by. We live in the country, so that was new for us. Because of that, we might look for somewhere a little quieter next time, but if the traffic doesn’t bother you, this place is truly great!

Very beautiful and well maintained home. Cozy inside, meticulously cleaned and very welcoming. Extremely easy to find and in a great central location! Parking was great, as the driveway is asphalt and easy to maneuver. Two bedrooms with a finished basement and pull-out sofa bed. Loved having two bathrooms, both beautiful and very clean. Host was extremely welcoming and generous.

The house is perfect. Not too big, not too small. The furnished basement was maybe our favorite part! We spent most of our hang-out time down there. The owners are very welcoming, clear with instructions/rules, and they make the check-in and check-out processes very easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Weekend golf trip

This property was immaculate inside and well equipped for 3 single adults. Everything was new and in great condition. However Outside was a little ghetto , old food truck in backyard and cable wire down in parking area.Also another pick-up truck parked there which on first arrival was confusing as to where to park.Would be nice to add an outdoor grill area.

Great stay

We had a great stay! Enjoyed the home. I am glad I bought insurance as there was some weak spots in the bathroom floor but the process was easy and the owners were right on top of it. They filed the claim and are fixing the floor. My only thought/recommendation would be to not have so much glass decor that a child could break. Other than that, great cute little house!

Accommodating

We rented this location for singers who were here for our church for our spring revival. They spoke of the cleanliness and home like feel of the house. The location was perfect being so close to our church. Thank you Marian.

Simple nice well maintained home

Nice Place, easy to get to. Clean, simple home. We enjoyed the pin ball machine in the basement. Rooms were good size, bathroom was a little small. Shower had a nice two head setup, with plenty of hot water. We had a couple issues with the TV in the main room, but all other TV’s worked great. Yard was freshly mowed and house was in order.

This is the place

This place is a hidden gem. Everything was amazing. Plenty of room, warm and very cozy. The house and location is 5 star. Convenient to shopping areas. And the host is very welcoming. So glad we chose this place. Its truly a blessing.

Everything as expected

Everything from the listing and reviews was accurate. We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, on our last full day we were locked out for over an hour when the batteries for the lock died. The host was responsive, and we were able to get back in; however, my daughter-in-law was unable to respond to work issues while her laptop was locked inside. We also missed part of the Columbus Blue Jackets game due to dealing with the lock issue.
