SUMMARY
Welcome to our kid & pet friendly beach home!  Grab your beach gear & hit the surf/swim friendly beach and then dine at the most amazing local eateries…all just 2 blocks away in the laid back community of North Pacific Beach.  Situated on a premier west-facing corner lot with an expansive fully-fenced yard, this fully remodeled modern unit features 2br+2ba, sleeps 6 (4 adults max), 1 oversized parking, a/c, w/d, 3 exclusive outdoor areas including the palm tree-lined view deck (note - front grass lawn is shared), & all new modern furniture & fixtures.  

OUR HOME
As you enter this fully fenced modern property, a set of concrete steps in between the grassy front lawn will lead you to the main entry and exclusive front porch,  great for enjoying a glass of wine at sunset or soaking up the daytime San Diego sun.  

Enter into a light & bright space, with open floorplan concept.  The living room is highlighted by our new oversized modern sofa & amazing LG OLED 65” mounted TV (the picture quality will not disappoint!).  Off the living room are sliding glass doors that lead to your very own view patio that looks out onto the front grass lawn, as well as a built in dining nook.  No expense spared on the kitchen, with sleek quartz countertops, white cabinetry, all new high end Kitchen Aid brand appliances, & access to your exclusive rear yard with beach gear & bbq.
 
Off the main living area are 2br's + 2ba's.  Br #1 has a Full/Twin bunk bed perfect for kids and bath off the hallway (shower), & the Master includes a King sized bed with sliding door exclusive access to our oversized  IPE wood deck & west facing views down a serene palm tree lined corridor (our favorite place for sipping a glass of wine in the evening), mounted 55" LG OLED SMART TV, and ensuite bath (tub/shower combo).

LOCATION
“Where the locals hang!” Our home is located in a beautiful family friendly area of North Pacific Beach. Just 2 blocks to the Law St. swim/surf-friendly ocean, white sandy beaches, and killer local eateries with everything from breakfast to dessert to after-hours cocktails!

Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and entertainment along Cass St & Turquoise St.  Some of our favorite eateries include Java Earth Café (coffee & pastries!), including Oscar’s Mexican Seafood, Leilani’s Hawaiian cuisine, Fig Tree Café (brunch!), The Fishery fine dining, Bareback Burger (grass fed meat!), & Second Nature bar & organic eatery to name a few.
 
A quick Uber ride or bike ride will get you to Garnet Ave & further along to Mission Beach, featuring more bars and entertainment + Belmont Park’s big dipper coaster and all new Plunge pool. Enjoy kayaking or stand up paddle boarding, jogging/walking/biking up and down the Boardwalk that starts just a couple blocks from our house!  Rent beach gear at Mission Beach Aquatic center, including sail boats, paddle boats, stand up paddle boards, and much more.

Other attractions include ~5min drive to Sea World, over the hill is ~15min drive to the famous San Diego Zoo, and just ~20min drive to Downtown & the Airport. This is a perfect spot to enjoy all that San Diego has to offer, contact one of our friendly staff today!

POLICIES & GOOD NEIGHBOR GUIDELINES
• Guest Requirements | guests must be at least 30 years of age to book with us. If your group is all adults, then all guests must meet our minimum age of 30.

• Occupancy | maximum occupancy refers to the number of people allowed in the home at any given time (ie includes both guests & visitors); exceptions towards the maximum number of people allowed may be made for children under the age of 2. Guest(s) agrees that more than the number of people stated on the reservation shall not occupy the premises. The number of guests includes visitors, even if they are not staying overnight.

• Noise | Our home is intended for relaxing getaways, not rowdy beach parties. Music and other noise is to be kept at an appropriate level and in a manner that is mindful to neighbors. Noise that can be heard 50 feet away from the home is prohibited. Parties are not allowed. If there is excessive noise or music, any illegal activity, or evidence of violation of these policies, you may be asked to vacate the premise without any refund and additional charges may be assessed.

Lovely “vacation cottage!”

We had a delightful stay at this property for nearly three weeks! It’s a 10 minute stroll to the ocean, a five minute meander to Cass Street and the wonderful coffee shop found there, and a two minute drive to Gelson’s, our new favorite small town grocery store! The design of the property is ideal for those with dogs, and we will be returning soon with our two dachshunds!

Great Location and Home

I used to live in the neighborhood where the home is located. Most homes there are a bit run down but this one was nicely renovated. Stayed here with my dog and there was a big grass yard for her to play around in.Appliances and showers are very nice, beds are comfortable.Location is excellent for Pacific Beach. My favorite cliffside park is 2-3 blocks away and it's about a 7 minute walk to the main road where all the restaraunts/shops are.The neighborhood also has some great options for food including one of the best italian restaraunts in san diego and several great breakfast and coffee shops.

Perfect Location

Wonderful stay in an ideal location a few blocks from the beach and lots of restaurants. Very comfortable beds, fenced in yard for our dog was fabulous, beach accessories are plentiful. Host was next door and very friendly and chill. Would definitely stay again!!

Great location

We just got back from our stay in San Diego and the house was great for what we needed. It was exactly how it was described online. Great location and lots within walking distance. We had our 1 year old with us and the house was well stocked with everything you would need for the beach. Very clean and would stay again.

Great Location, Great Side Yard Deck!

We spent a month staying at Boomer 2 in North PB! We loved being 2-3 blocks from the beach and close to coffee shops and restaurants. Definitely a dog friendly stay and wonderful space.

Great place with everything you need

This VRBO was the best I have stayed at in a while. It had everything you want every VRBO to have from all the proper kitchenware to dog bowls. Most places I've stayed at lately seem like they are lacking the little things but not this place. Highly recommend and will be booking another trip here in the future. Thank you Nick! -DJW

Clean, comfy, and quiet

This property suited our family of six very well. The property is clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The neighborhood is quiet, and the beach is just a short walk from the house, The host, Nick, is very friendly and helpful. Perfectly located in Pacific Beach for pups and family!

Just finished our amazing week in Pacific Beach at this wonderful property. Truly a perfect location, we walked our dogs to the beach every day, our 17 year-old made use of the surfboard, and we slept so well in this house. We have two dogs and the fenced-in yard was an absolute bonus. The location of this house allows for easy access to multiple locally owned and operated coffee shops, restaurants, and boutiques. We hope to come back and stay again!

Home away from home

Such a relaxing place. It is in the best location with fun restaurants close by and an amazing coffee shop just up the street. The beach was close by with just a short walk over to enjoy the waves. The property was so welcoming and comfortable and had all the amenities (and more) we needed. We loved the fun neighbors all around. It’s extremely dog friendly and I think my dog has more friends here than at home. Couldn’t recommend this property enough!

Better than the photos!

We already miss this Boomer place! Every morning we'd walk to the local coffee shop, then walk down the ocean, then let our dogs play in the huge grass yard while we do yoga on the view deck. Night was perfect for a glass of wine, you can see gorgeous sunsets. Note the yard is fully fenced (photo shows not fenced) & there's a beautiful new sofa that fits 6 people (it's huge!). We're already checking our dates to reserve for next year, LOVED IT!!!

What an absolutely amazing stay!

The house is stunning, and they thought of everything you would need. The host(s) Nick. Boomer and Bailey (the latter two being the resident chocolate labs) are so kind, welcoming and friendly. This house really hit the mark on all of our check list. This place is an absolute MUST for dog lovers. The location is also unbeatable, as dining, shopping. Beach. Conveniences are all within minutes. The house and yard are gorgeous, and amenities abundant! Thank you. NICK! We will be seeing you again!

Great location and fairly clean, except there was lots of dog hair left by cleaners from prior visits. Strong, pervasive dog smell at property, which to be fair is listed as a dog friendly property. Property lists an hot tub as an available amenity and there is not one at the home. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay, and we do love dogs.

San Diego Getaway

We had the best time! We are from AZ and it's HOT in August. We went to San Diego to escape the heat. We brought along our lab. All of us had a great time. The property was great. We loved being able to walk to great coffee, restaurants and the beach. Our favorite restaurants were the Fishery and Enoteca Adriano. The owners/neighbors are great and everyone in the neighborhood was very friendly. If you bring a dog, they will have plenty of friends to play with!

Fun in PB

Spent a week in Pacific Beach - close enough to walk to beach (~ 3 blocks). Walkable to many shops/restaurants. One dedicated parking space. House had all amenities we needed - 2 of the 4 beach chairs had large holes in them but otherwise everything was great. House was overall very clean although one blanket in smaller bedroom smelled strongly of dog which is probably to be expected in a property that allows dogs. Owner lives next door and was very friendly. We actually showed up an hour early the first day due to an unexpected flight change and were able to get right in. I would recommend this property to families (second bedroom has only bunk beds so maybe not ideal for a couple but great for kids). House well equipped. We loved staying here and would rent again!

This place suits us!

We loved our stay at this PB home. It was a very nice place to stay, and the location was great. Nick is a friendly neighbor and owner that cares about the experience of guests. The off-street parking was convenient. We had no issues while staying here. We recommend it and would come back again.

Perfect spot for exploring SD

We stayed here with our two dogs for almost a week and couldn’t have been happier with the rental and location. The home itself was perfect, especially for our two dogs. The front yard was awesome for them to play in when we had downtime. They enjoyed saying hey to everyone passing by the yard and playing with the chocolate labs that lived next door. Location was also great. Very close to the beach but far away from the main strip. Super quiet. Close to La Jolla and just 15-20 minutes to Balboa Park and areas around it. Would stay here again for sure.
