Family Vacation

My family and I have stayed here twice now on our family vacation and we have enjoyed it every time. The home is beautiful and roomy. Definitely will be staying here again next year.

A lovey stay

The house just the size to accommodate our entire family. Neighborhood very nice and quiet. The host was very sweet, helpful and very accommodating and very gracious, truly a gem to work with. I highly recommend anyone to stay.

Nice big house.

Our stay started off great. We were given an early check in and it was perfect. The host was very responsive. Bring your own toiletries as there is we not anything at the house. Some kitchen essentials missing. Over all the house is very big and roomy. It fit our family well.

Amazing Home.

I had wanted a place to host a little birthday party for a friend of mine, and this was the perfect place. Not only was the house in perfect condition with everything set up, but the communication was second to none; every time I had a question or needed to find out something, I was able to get an immediate response. I will be booking this place again sometime in the future for other events!

Family Vacation

My husband and I stayed here with our kids for our yearly family vacation. We enjoyed our stay, the home was beautiful, clean and a great size. The neighborhood seemed safe. The only problem we had was the pull out dumpster at the curb filled up pretty quickly and the city did not empty it out till Friday so, we had bags of trash tied up inside the house waiting for it to be dumped outside.

Problems with rental

Missing mattress, no mini blinds on most of the windows, and no curtains in bedrooms. Neighbors can look right into each room. Grass in back yard needs to be mowed and standing water in back and side of house needs to be cleaned up. We had to sleep on the couch because of curtains issue

Thank you for sharing, not sure what you mean by missing mattress. Please elaborate. There are 7 beds. There are blinds in most of the house and the house is surrounded by a fence, but I’ll have blinds installed ilo the shear curtains, sorry about that. I guess the rain made the grass grow pretty fast because it was mowed not too long ago and the yard shouldn’t have anything on the side of the house. I’ll take care of all of that. I wish you would have told me as soon as you got there, but at least I know now.

Ohana Annual Independence Day/Birthday/Anniversary

We've been making this annual trip to the City of Christ, Corpus Christi for over 15 years through Vrbo. Each year, we're pleased! Now that our children are young adults, we needed adequate space for our visit. We highly recommend this property as a 'home away from home' atmosphere! The neighborhood was quiet with friendly neighbors. If a single level home with no carpeting is your preference, this home is it! There is a nearby park for morning exercise, convenience stores, stores and restaurants two miles away. Highly suggest 'Surfing Crab' for dining! We weren't expecting the extra's the property had to offer such as the table tennis, the Nintendo Wii console and a variety of indoor games. The private fenced backyard with charcoal grill and outdoor table setting was just what we needed! The kitchen is equipped with all the necessities, not to mention the laundry room. Keep in mind, the area so add mosquito repellant to your packing list. We look forward to next year's return! Once again, thank you for having us!

Good size for large group

The communication with the owner was phenomenal. She was very polite and quick to reply. The property was provided with snacks, some games, internet, daily cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, etc. The location is a ways away from main attractions but getting around town is easy. It is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The a/c was leaking upon arrival but the owner was able to have it repaired the next day. One downfall would be the cleanliness of the property. It was dusty and blankets and sheets did not appear clean. It looked like it had been a while since the cleaning crew had been in. The dryer lent holder had not been cleaned and there were old coffee grounds in the keurig. This is a new listing and I’m not sure it was completely ready for guests. The master bedroom had a few boards underneath that needed to be installed. The dryer isn’t the best at drying but we managed. I would recommend staying just ensure the little details are worked out.
