Este condominio ofrece vistas de palmeras, arena blanca y las cristalinas aguas azules del Golfo de México. La vista es pintoresca y las puestas de sol son impresionantes. El condominio es 1300 sq. Ft, sin alfombras, tiene 2 dormitorios, 2 baños, gran salón, comedor, cocina totalmente equipada (todos los aparatos), Lanai, calefacción / aire acondicionado central, King, 2 reinas, Wi-Fi gratuito en la unidad! El complejo cuenta con 2 cabañas de playa, sillas de playa, patio con tejo. Hay una gran piscina climatizada, sala de juegos con billar, ping pong, air hockey. We new the resort had taken hits from hurricanes but most everything was back to normal by the time we visited. The unit is always clean and has nice furniture. What we really like is the guest room has 2 queens for extra room.

Our new vacation destination

The view is stunning and so close to the beach.features I liked were the laundry facilities were right out the side door. Guest beds are queens.We came right during "love bug" season but it didn't phase us- Saw a few roaches in/around condo but I don't think it's a reflection on the property- it's just nature. The condo was stocked with everything we needed and a bonus (that we discovered 1/2 way through the trip) was lots of beach supplies. We left our Kites and Pool Noodles for the next guests to enjoy. I can't say enough how much we enjoy this place.

Nice updates, but Bugs!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second year in a row that we have stayed in 2 South. The updates from last year are very nice, as well as some new furniture. Our only problems was with bugs, cockroaches and larger Palmetto Bugs that freaked out the girls and had the guys hunting them down with brooms and bug spray. The furniture outside is also a nice addition. This will mark our 7th visit to the Island House Beach resort and unit 2 South has become our favorite.

Wonderful vacation in great location

This review does not apply to the unit pictured. We actually stayed in 14N at Island House Beach Resort, which was a beautiful, immaculate, well-appointed unit. Originally we had reserved the unit pictured, but shortly after the reservation had been made, we were notified that it was not available and selected 14N instead.

Doors to lanai are broken, door handle to bathroom in 2nd bedroom is broken, vertical slates missing in 2nd bedroom missing causing the bright light from outside walkway to shine in bedroom all night. Fresh coat of paint would do wonders. Beach chairs in unit were not usable as they are rusted. No extras in this unit at all compared to other units, but again, location is great.

Not the Best

Reviewer Comments: My family has been coming to Island House for 2 decades now since I was a kid. Now I am an adult taking my family as well and this was our first disappointed stay. 2S was not as updated as other units. We also had a major fly issue which is not normal I am sure, but still put a bit of a damper on things. I think the location is great as it is so close to the beach, but the Patio door and door to outside seems pretty run down. Also some of the blinds are twisted or falling off. One one set of keys worked out of the 2 and even with those it was hard to navigate the front door with the key. Also most other units seem to have access to Smart TV functions like Netflix and I don't think we had that access. The Island House Property was lovely as always just wish the unit was better. The convenience of the beach distance was good but not sure it was worth the lack of upgrades and issues. Regardless we will definitely be back to Island House next year.

Floors snd showers appear updated. AC worked well. Right next to laundry machines. We found the apartment to be exactly what our family of 5 (myself and husband, 2 teens, and my mom) needed. Great location for families!!

We love Siesta Key

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everyone had a great time with one minor exception. We plan our vacation around July 4 for the great fireworks. Every year until now Island House let us use the beach chairs that night. This year an outside company took over and insister the chairs be put away. One resident who cited previous experience of many years had the police called on him. Very heavy handed and a complete lack of appreciation for the holiday that brings so many people to Island House.

Summer Vacation

The stove was not working properly, we would have to stand and hold oven door to stay closed in order to use it. The refrigerator was sounding like it was running water all the time and it doesn’t even have a water dispenser so I never understood the noise. The toilet we had to fix multiple times if not the toilet was running nonstop. The bathrooms also have mold and rust stains throughout. I ended up buying colorox to try cleaning the bathrooms because it grossed me out but there was no hope. The door to the beach is broken and we got locked out multiple times that we started just using the front door because it became annoying. The blinds throughout the apartment were missing and the worse one was in one of the bedrooms where the window leads to the walkway so you never truly had privacy.

Gorgeous View, Right On the Beach

We loved this condo. We normally stay at Palm Bay Club, but have found a new favorite with this Island House condo. The beach access was perfect, the pool was so much nicer then the picture, everything was perfect. The only issue we had, is the owner had given out parking passes to our unit, so we came back after dinner to our parking spot taken. I'd hardly dock the owner a star for this, as I'm sure they probably told their friends to only use the parking if unit was not occupied. Just a suggestion, maybe have friends check and make sure unit is not occupied. Other then that, wouldn't stop us from staying again.
