Perfect location and family setup

Clean with all the essentials, and perfect location. For a family it had great seating for meals and games. The upstairs and downstairs areas allow for some separation for teens if preferred.

Too Cloose

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We visited this location at the end of the season, BUT there were many issues that needed attention. The smell of mold and mildew in the downstairs was horrible. There was a dehumidifier in the area, but it could not keep up!The downstairs bathroom toilet needs repair. Does not stop running. The blinds in the master bath and downstairs front bedroom were non functional. The filters in the hallway need to be changed and a frying pan without scratches would be awesome. Two of the four of attendees came home with an upper respiratory infection. And last but not least, the outdoor shower reeked of mold and mildew as well. One wall was Green and the other Black.

Beautiful view of the ocean

This was a great house for the group of us. Turns out the downstairs bedrooms has a king and a queen which was a nice surprise. It was not perfectly clean but we know it's hard to get all the sand up. We did find some sand spurs in the house so we needed to be extra careful. The baby gate came in handy too! We would definitely recommend this house to other families.

Perfect house for our group

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a mix of friends and family, including a 1 year old and adults. This was a kid-friendly house and it has fantastic beach access. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen, they had everything we needed. Beach Realty was very responsive when we reported that the coffee maker was broken. They also replaced the grill which was an older request I think. The only downside was the outdoor furniture was not comfortable.

Refreshing

This property is supper nice. We enjoyed the spaciousness this house offered. Nice upper and lower decks. Very short walk to the beach. If the weather was nice it made out trip a 10 out 10. We would highly consider this house for many more vacations!! We all have been refreshed.

Lots of space, great location, fully stocked home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week at Too Close! The house is large enough for our family of 6 and very close to the public beach access. The house was clean and fully stocked with all of the things we needed to cook, which isn't always the case with vacation homes. The living room was comfortable and the large dining table nice for our family as well. Being able to sit on the deck and watch the sunrise was a great plus as well. Our home was ready for us on time and the staff was helpful when we needed them to be. I recommend this home for a family vacation and we will likely be back!!

Our Stay at Too Close

Reviewer Comments: Great location, kitchen had a generous supply of items, ample room for our family but living room a bit small, cleaners left trash and dirt in small bedroom, house and refrigerator smelled like fish-frig did all week, 2 plugs in master bath did not work, sliding glass doors (even locked) could be yanked open, decks are in BAD shape and are dangerous, sand spurs stuck in carpeting, someone left a burned pot unable to clean, the renters before us left 9 bags and 3 boxes of trash on the driveway-not in the trash cans which were full but realty company came and cleaned up after 2 calls

Location is great

The walk from the house to the beach is great, it’s only a house away. Only this bad to say about the house is there not a lot of stuff in the house to cook with, so you have to bring or go get all the bare essentials but besides that is was a great place to stay

Won't be staying in any of Beach Realty's homes again

Reviewer Comments: This was our fourth year renting Too Close and we love it. Very reasonable price and great ocean view. We will continue to book this house but we are definitely hoping the upstairs stove and refrigerator will be replaced soon. The ice maker hasn’t worked in years and the stove has small unleveled burners which take a long time to heat up.

Everything you want is here, space, amenities, 2 kitchens, very close to the beach, less than 100 yards. Can’t say enough good about Too Close! My wife, Eileen, had an emergency appendectomy at Outer Banks Hospital. Even that couldn’t ruin her stay.We will stay here again! Thank you for another great vacation!

It is quite bit bigger than it looks..and having 2 kitches/frigs..wow.. that absolutely amazing. You have ocean views, quiet street and less than minute walk to beach access! The kitchen was fully equipped.. and it was spotless when we arrived. The only issue we had was with internet, which was immediately identified by wonderful staff at Beach Realty and resolved. Thank you for an amazing vacation !
