Watauga Lake Home! ¡Vistas extraordinarias a la montaña y más!

Whispering Pines tiene la mejor vista de las montañas y domina el lago a solo un corto paseo cuesta abajo hasta el puerto deportivo privado.
La cabina tiene capacidad para 8-10 cómodamente y es perfecta para una pareja de familias con o sin hijos.
El chalet de montaña es una casa de 3 niveles y tiene 3 dormitorios y 2 baños completos.
• El primer piso del dormitorio principal tiene un rey y baño completo
• El maestro del segundo piso tiene baño de reina y completo
• La habitación del tercer nivel tiene dos camas individuales, un altillo con dos camas y los niños se esconden con una cama
• El primer y segundo nivel tienen chimeneas de gas.

No se pone más bonito que esto. Uno de nuestros invitados describió el lago Watauga como el lago Lemán en la esquina noreste de Tennesee. Nuestra casa se encuentra en la cima de las montañas en Appalachia a 4500 pies. Debido a que estamos en el Bosque Nacional Cherokee, hay muy pocas casas en el lago, lo que hace que las vistas sean más bonitas de lo normal. Además, el lago se calienta temprano en la temporada. Puedes nadar desde abril hasta finales de octubre. Está a una corta distancia a pie del puerto deportivo privado y la glorieta, donde hay un puerto deportivo cubierto privado; Fish Springs traerá un bote de alquiler a un resbalón abierto para usted si lo desea o puede traer uno usted mismo. En el invierno, es una casa increíble ubicada a 20 millas de un puñado de montañas de esquí como Sugar, Beech y Appalachian. What an incredible getaway! Whispering Pines was so much more than we expected. The home itself was built so thoughtfully and with so much imagination. Attention to detail in every nook and cranny made for the most magical place for our children. It really felt like something out of a storybook, especially the bunk room where the kids stayed. A mountain trip had been on our son's bucket list for some time and this exceded all of his expectations. The second we left he asked when we could return. The home is well maintained and cozy. It had just about anything we could think of to make ourselves feel at home and to host family meals. While there we enjoyed hiking, exploring the lake, sitting around the fire, and the kids loved playing outside. At night we enjoyed the fireplaces, lovely fountain, and rustic interior. There was plenty of room to gather together or separately. The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and truly excited to share this wonderful home with us. He was available to answer any questions we had to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We are already planning our next visit!

We definitely enjoyed this Mountain Home. It was so peaceful. The house was everything it was supposed to be and then some. We have already laid the groundwork to stay here again next year when we come to town. And my host. I cannot say enough of how quickly he was able to help me with one issue that I was needing help on. And took all the time I needed to assist me. 100% First class place and host. We enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you Mr. Tom.

Very quiet property with a beautduil interior. Plenty of room for the 3 of us that stayed there with a large kitchen to cook in every night. Temperatures were verty hotnout so we never got to indulge in the hot tub, but it did look very inviting. This is a great place if you want to get away and be with nature in a beautiful home.

Wonderful area and beautiful cabin!!! Very quiet and peaceful. The house is surrounded by trees and is nice and private. There was room for everyone to spread out in the large home. The lake is incredible!!!!!

Nice get away

Were very impressed with the communication from the listers. House was very clean. Beds could use a little upgrading but we didnt want to complain because we were just so incredibly blessed to be away. Quiet and very close to the marina. The slip wasnt quite big enough for our boat so we used the marina right before the neighborhood and they were amazing there. Beautiful place, beautiful stay, and lot's of memories.

Excellent Trip to a Quiet Part of Tennessee

We really enjoyed our stay at Whispering Pines, this property is set in a very quiet and secluded neighborhood near Lake Watauga. Its very cozy inside with multiple fireplaces and enough rooms to spread out when visiting with large groups. The hot tub is located in a perfect spot to provide some privacy. We spent a warm afternoon outside grilling and making s'mores in the fire pit. The house is located about half an hour from a proper grocery store in Elizabethton so stock up while your out. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Tennessee.

Fantastic. Just the place we needed.

Wonderful property and hosts. Just the place and time we needed to get away, relax and use as a home base as we explored johnson city and Kingsport. Mountains and lake were amazing. Would definitely book again. The place had everything we needed. A great place to just be in the moment.

Beautiful House

The house was extremely clean and very beautiful. There are so many cool accents to this house, it was obviosuly very thought out when it was built. The kitchen was excellently stocked. It made for a wonderfully relaxing vacation!

Family vacation

The cabin was very nice. It was nice having the dock area to use for swimming and fishing. We enjoyed sitting outside under the covered deck because of the rainy week we had. The owner had contacted me several times to see how things were going. Plenty of room for every and we would definitely stay there again in the future.

Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay but it was misleading saying a short walk to the private deck . We enjoy walking but with a group that wasn’t considered a short walk and then inclines . We ended up driving up the road a ways and swimming at the lake . The house is perfect and host stayed in touch . We enjoyed our stay . Thank you

Owner accused me of having animals in the home and leaving it a wreck.

We have stayed in this home several times over the past few years and had to leave this trip 3 nights earlier than expected because I received a call that my mother was dying. We spent several hours cleaning the house before we left and I notified the owner we were leaving. He sent me messages saying that we could book make up days 5 days after we left. 7 days after we left it appears his cleaner showed up and blamed us for trashing the house, and said we had animals in the home which was untrue. The day after my mom died he decided to write a nasty review and sent photos that appear to be a rodent that got in his home some time after I left and before the cleaner arrived. He then accused me of leaving guests behind after we left. Completely outraged after so many good years visiting this home.

Family Vacation

Pros: We were amazed at the detail and workmanship in the cabin. The cabin was almost perfect for our stay. At one point, we had 6 adults and 4 children under the age of 5 staying in the cabin. We all had plenty of room and thoroughly enjoyed our time together. Tom responded to several issues at check-in in a timely manner. The flowering planters were a nice touch! We saw lots of wildlife, including a family of black bears. The fire pit was perfect for s’mores and family memories. The grill was very convenient and we used it often. The rockers, hammock and outdoor games were welcomed. The directions Tom gave made it easy to find the cabin. We are very glad to have had the boat slip available and thankful that Tom suggested reserving a boat early. The lake is absolutely gorgeous as we spent most days on/in it! Cons: We arrived about 30 minutes after check-in time, as requested by Tom, and contractors were still working and worked for another hour or so. Upon arrival, we found the refrigerator, freezer, oven, and general living areas in need of a good cleaning. There was no vacuum available for guests. (The housekeeper left hers for our use!) During our month long stay the construction crew showed up at the cabin twice, once with a two hour notice and one time without any notice. We found this to be an inconvenience.

Weekend getaway

Great property by the lake! Well stocked and very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub on a cool night. Great outdoor space for hanging out and relaxing.

Tom was very responsive and helpful during our stay. The cabin was beautiful and the location was great. We have four kids and there was plenty of room for us. Most relaxing vacation we have had in years.

Beautiful as always

This was the third year that we have stayed in this beautiful cabin. My family and I love it. We usually stay at the lake more but this year we just relaxed and enjoyed the cabin. The hot tub is amazing, the scenery is gorgeous. The cabin had everything that we needed including peace and quiet. It is so comfy and just feels like home. Tom is a wonderful host and checks to make sure you’re checked in and made it safely. We have never had an issue staying there so there has never been a need to reach out to him. The cabin is clean, well equipped, and just everything that my family and I need for a week away.

Amazing property

Beautiful property with so many elegant touches. The trees inside are such a unique addition. Very comfortable for 2 families. Our teen loved the loft. It feels like you’re in your own little world.

Wonderful Cabin!

My family and I enjoyed a nice long weekend in the beautiful Whispering Pines cabin! The cabin was clean and has everything you need for your stay. We especially enjoyed our time on the large deck enjoying the beautiful scenery. We highly recommend this cabin and would book again!
