Esto, casa moderna totalmente equipada (construido 2006) 4 dormitorios / 2 baños es perfecto para grupos. Una excelente ubicación con acceso a pie a la playa de Patton o aterrizaje de Waterman para alquilar un kayak o paddle, rutas de senderismo cercanas, de Garwood Grill para bebidas en la terraza o simplemente pasar el rato en la terraza y barbacoa con vistas al lago.

Hay fácil acceso a muchas estaciones de esquí más importantes (Northstar, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows). Lanzaderas de casino gratis y el sistema de autobuses regional Tahoe (TARTA) son fácilmente accesibles.

Justo en las afueras es el acceso a senderismo, bicicleta de montaña, natación, paddleboarding, kayak y golf en miniatura, así como un par de buenas opciones de restaurante. Además, con un coche rápido, acceder a la ciudad de Tahoe, Kings Beach, golf, estaciones de esquí y muchas otras opciones.

Tahoe Vacation

The house was beautiful and perfect for our family. We loved the location….easy access to Kings Beach and Tahoe City. Our grand puppy enjoyed Patton Beach as well.

Great home!

It was a wonderful stay. Very clean and well appointed. We had several family members in adjoining cabins and were able to host Bbq dinners for all. Comfy accommodations and well appointed kitchen. Garage was a nice bonus, to store beach chairs and wagon. Walking distance to beach, restaurants and mini golf. We had an excellent time and would rent again.

So so great I don’t want to share!!!

The house is amazing and so well stocked. Never have I had a place with so many thoughtful touches. I really want to keep this gem to myself so it isn’t booked when we are able to return but that isn’t fair to Chris. The location is perfect and the neighborhood is quiet. Got to have a National Geographic moment one morning as a bear came cruising between the houses and did his back scratching on a tree out back. The hot tub is very well maintained just like the house. I can’t say enough good things about the house, location, and host!! Chris responds in record time & is so accommodating! Plus he goes above and beyond. Love this place and are working on returning again. The beach is fantastic and just a short 3 block walk from the house. Awesome time in Tahoe!!!

Annual Summer Tahoe Family Trip

We had a wonderful weeklong stay at this property. The location was chef’s kiss with a 3 minute walk to the lake where you could rent kayaks and paddle boards. Mini golf and Gar Woods (Wet Woodies) is just a very short walk! My kids loved the jacuzzi. Chris (the owner) was extremely attentive and responsive when I reached out to him. The house was fully equipped with literally anything you might need to cook a nice meal! Perfect house for two families with kids as the house has two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs. Overall it was a wonderful stay!

This house was close to everything we wanted to do in Tahoe, it was comfortable and well stocked (grill, hot tub, etc.), and Chris was extremely responsive to all the little questions we had. We’d definitely stay here again!

Heaven at Tahoe

Our family had a fabulous stay at Carnelian Bay. The house was perfect for our needs and it was amazing being so close to the beach where we could rent kayaks and take the dogs. The house was well stocked, and there was plenty of room for everyone. After a day exploring we would relax back at the house with games, puzzles and a dip in the hot tub. The owner, Chris, was great to work with and was very accommodating. We are already looking forward to another stay here!

Beautiful Tahoe Home

This house surpassed our expectations in every way! It was beautiful, clean and extremely well stocked. The short walk to the beach or to dinner fit all our needs. The neighborhood is also very nice. And the owner was very easy to deal with. A big win all around!

Great house, great location

Everything about this house was as advertised. The location was excellent - we could walk in the neighborhood or down to the lake and the kids enjoyed playing in the snow in the backyard. And I was able to have Instacart deliver groceries hours after we arrived which was a huge plus! Chris (the host) was very responsive and accommodating. We hope to stay there again!

A classic Tahoe experience

The home was as advertised. Walking distance to the shore. Dining and mini golf right nearby. Out of the chaos. Small quiet community. But Kings Beach is very nearby. The great thing is nothing is ever too far away. Quick drive to S Lake Tahoe for sailing and dinner. Hiking Mt. Rose. Day at the beach. Lots of room to spread out in the home for everyone. Plenty of bathrooms. Really easy to cook dinners for big family so no Covid worries. A barbeque that is superb. Family loved it. While we used it in the summer, it would be a totally perfect spot for winter.

Fantastic stay!!

My family & I stayed & Chris' lovely home for 12 days & couldn't have had a better time. It's location is perfect for walking to the lake & just a few minutes more to Gar Woods. Having the spa outback is key & the views from it are beautiful, especially at night. The family room is very spacious, the kitchen well stocked & deck off the front perfect for morning coffee & evening drinks. We would highly suggest staying here & hope to be back soon!

Outstanding house and responsive owner

This house is new (or updated), beautiful, and conveniently located to skiing, Garwoods, Safeway, etc. As a former slopeside condo ski lease person, I was nervous about having to drive to ski, but it was a breeze. The owner is incredibly responsive, flexible, and friendly. FYI 4 families stayed here for a week. All the adults had comfy beds; the kids made due with cots, couches, and sleeping bags. Definitely a bit tight for 11-12 people, but we enjoyed it regardless.

Family get away

We had a fabulous time in Carnelian Bay! The location of the house was great for our family and dog, since everyone worked on a different time schedule and we could come and go to the lake as needed. The house was spacious with all of the amenities to make it a comfortable stay! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Love this place

This was our second time renting this property. The location is convenient. The living areas of the house are perfect for group gathering for cooking, dining, visiting and game playing. The bedrooms are comfortable and surprisingly quiet even though they are close to the living areas.

Carnelian Bay House

Such a great property that was better than described! We all enjoyed our stay in the perfectly located home. Walking distance to kayaking, the beach, The Old Post Office (Breakfast) and our favorite...Garwoods...for lunch and dinner. The Perfect Spot

Perfect Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at this house in Carnelian Bay. The location is perfect and the house is comfortable and VERY well stocked. This was our first time to the area. We enjoyed the close proximity to the pebble beach which had SUP and kayak rentals. The Old Post Office, Gar Woods and 7-11 were all within convenient walking distance. We appreciated the less crowded atmosphere of the area. I highly recommend a stay at this home. Thank you for a great vacation.

Vacay at the Bay

We enjoyed our stay at Chris’s place in Carnelian Bay. Best stocked house ever! Our family converged here from four states and we couldn’t have been more comfortable. Chris has thought of EVERYTHING to make an stay away from home as close to home as possible. We left our hot tub to find another amongst the stately pine trees. Outdoor recreation is at your fingertips here as well! Thanks Chris!

Time Well Spent

This amazing property is located in Carnelian Bay. It is a short walk from "The Old Post Office" and "Gar Woods". If you are familiar with Lake Tahoe, you know these are two iconic places to eat. The "Old Post Office" features breakfast and lunch, while "Gar Woods" has amazing drinks, lunch, appetizers, and dinner. No worry about driving home after enjoying a "Wet Woody", their signature drink. I've rented VRBO houses for years and this house was arguably the best stocked ever! There were spices, paper products in the pantry, up to date kitchen appliances, and even special food and water bowls for our four-legged family member. There were puzzles, movies, and a sparkling clean hot tub for our evening hours. The house and neighborhood were quiet. We spent time on the deck enjoying the sound of the wind in the pines. There was deck furniture for all. Also within walking distance was a dog beach and "Magic Carpet" Miniature Golf. The golf course was well maintained, though not crowded at all. There is a 7-11 with items you may have forgotten at home. We come to Tahoe frequently. When we weren't at the house, we went to Northstar and to the State Fire Lookout. Our dog was able to accompany us to both. The number of pet-friendly activities and rentals is growing! Of course, I highly recommend a stay at this home. In our group of 5 adults, we had three teachers who were spending one more weekend in the Sierras. Our stay at this home was truly "time well spent!"

I first moved to Lake Tahoe in 1992 after college to ski/snowboard. After most of my professional life in the San Francisco Bay Area and frequent visits to Tahoe was able to purchase the property in 2012.

This property has access to the best of North Lake Tahoe. An easy walk to the dog friendly Patton Beach, easy access to hiking and mountain biking trails almost out the back door as well as easy access to all of the North Lake Tahoe area ski resorts, this house has it all.

Location, Location, Location. Park the car and enjoy walking from the house to nearby restaurants, or a jump in the lake in the summer or have your choice of ski areas in the winter the location is very convenient to everything.
