Hermosa casa de vacaciones en North Lake Tahoe con vistas panorámicas al lago, perfecta para aquellos que buscan llevar el aire libre. Situada en más de 1/2 acre de tierra, esta casa está rodeada por el magnífico Bosque Nacional.

Esta propiedad bañada por el sol cuenta con múltiples áreas de estar, muchas de ellas con amplias vistas al lago. La espaciosa cocina y el comedor son perfectos para el entretenimiento. Con los nuevos mostradores, electrodomésticos y una cocina de seis quemadores, el chef de su grupo quedará impresionado. Junto a la cocina hay dos salas de estar, cada una con una chimenea, un televisor de pantalla plana montado en la pared grande y cómodos asientos.

Los cuatro dormitorios se encuentran en la planta baja, todos menos uno con vistas al lago Tahoe. La suite principal es especialmente impresionante, con una chimenea de gas y ventanas de piso a techo con vista al lago. También en este piso, una amplia sala de juegos con futbolín, piscina y un televisor de pantalla plana grande es el lugar perfecto para los niños. Dos sofás cama ofrecen opciones adicionales para aquellos que prefieren su propio espacio..

Spacious Home with Beautiful View!

From the moment you walk in, you feel you are in a special place. You are greeted with an amazing view of the mountains and lake. It is so peaceful, just sitting on the deck and relaxing with a cup of coffee was great. Very open floor plan with plenty of room for our extended family. The game room with pool table and foosball was an added plus. Very clean. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful view from the deck

Nice location 10 minute drive from Kings Beach. We enjoyed the nice large kitchen. Patio could use some more seating, only 6 seats and 2 small tables, not large enough to have a meal outside. The view of the lake is beautiful from the deck!

We loved our stay! From the view of the lake to the giant kitchen island which fits 6 adults comfortably for dinner. The backyard is perfect for snowman building and snowball fight (there were sleds and snow toys in the garage)! We had a bit of difficulty at check-in where the lock box wouldn't open, but a quick call to Tahoe Getaway resolved the issue. The house has central heat like all houses in Tahoe, which makes the air quite dry, we would have liked a couple of humidifiers around the house to help with dry air. It seems like there is a centralized humidifier but I don't think it was working. Another thing we would love is curtains or blinds in the bedrooms and entertainment room (kids slept there). I understand having an unobstructed view of the lake/trees/mountain is great, but it also means nobody was able to sleep in past 7am. Although we weren't too mad after seeing the view in the morning ;) Overall, we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return!

Unable to get in contact with property manager

The property is nice and big, so there was plenty of space and any good location. However, the downstairs has very old carpet, which caused me to have an allergy attack. Then we did not have Internet connection, and we tried to contact the host, but we were unable to get in contact with anybody, and we did not get the issue resolved. Also, the barbecue grill is in a very small balcony, which is separated from the main balcony, it would be nice for the barbecue grill to be in the main balcony, so we could all hang out while also cooking.

We had a few mostly maintenance issues but mostly was a wonderful stay. The accommodations were as advertised, wonderful deck and view of the lake.

Weekend getaway with a view

This house was amazing and the view was the cherry on top! House was clean, spacious and as advertised during our October visit. Fit 8 adults comfortably with spaces that allow everyone to come together or separate if you want to break up your group. Game room was a huge bonus and hit with our group as it offered many options like pool, foosball table, TV, and multiple seating areas. A gem of a home.

Amazing Unit

Exactly as described!!! I was a little skeptical due to the recent negative review, but don’t pay any attention to that. This unit is clean, heated floor in master bath worked great, hot tub was perfect and there were amazing views from pretty much every room in the house. Definitely get this unit.

Cozy and felt right at home. Loved the big island in the kitchen that fit my family of 7. Nice views for the photographers in the group. Attached garage so we didn't have to leave our truck out in the snow. It was too cold to use the hot tub. My kids (17, 21, 24, 25) enjoyed having their own space in the game room which was on the other side of the house away from the master suite🤗. I would stay here again.

Beautiful view of Lake Tahoe! We were disappointed the hot tub control panel was not working and set at 107, which is unsafe for kids; however, still enjoyed playing at the cabin. Some of the light switches did not work and one of water faucets in the bathroom was hard to turn off. I thought there would be toiletries to use however, I was incorrect. Overall though, great kitchen and communal space and a fun game room all ages enjoyed!

Overpaid for it but at least the views were nice.

Our group very much enjoyed the beautiful views of Lake Tahoe from different parts of the house. Our chef also loved the spacious kitchen, from the stovetop to the counter space. With that being said, some things in the rental need attention. There was cobweb in a lot of places (including above the kitchen counter) and majority of the bar stools were wobbly (definitely a safety hazard). Also, one of the bathroom floor heaters wasn’t working, but that wasn’t life threatening. Overall, we enjoyed our time there, surrounded by breathtaking creation.

Comfortable house with a good view of the lake!

We very much enjoyed staying in this nicely appointed house. Easy to park in the driveway or garage. Quiet neighborhood. Fireplace in teh master bedroom (auto) was especially nice. All kitchen ware was provided (but should be better organized, and new cutting boards would be appreciated) and the gas stove top was especially nice. The barbeque grill was also in very good shape. We enjoyed the pool table in the game room, as well as the the hot tub. The many bathrooms were also well kept (but the squeegee cleaners for the glass showers should be replaced with new ones). Only addition that would be nice for renters would be some small portable end-tables so that drinks can be placed closer to seating in living room areas. Overall, would definitely stay here again!

The house is in a great location, was spotlessly clean when we arrived and had the picturesque view as advertised. We ate in every meal and found more than enough kitchen pots/pan/prep items to satisfy us. The prior review regarding lack of platters was accurate (and no, 2 plates don’t replace a platter). Loved the windows on the back of the house (especially when a pair of gray wolves passed behind the house early one morning). The master bedroom fireplace was fabulous. We look forward to renting it in the future.

Positives: Kitchen was a a cooks' dream, very large and great for large families with a huge center island. The hot tub could use a hanging shade/blind so the neighbors cant see you in the hot tub. The game room was fantastic for the kids, and there were large screen TV's throughout the house. The only negative was they must not of provided enough sanitizer/cleaner for the hot tub, because we used it the first night and it didn't self clean so we had to call and have someone come the next day to clean it.

Excellent Lake View

The property is spacious with a nice flow and well situated for a magnificent lake view that took our breath away. The kitchen offered a high-end gas stove and range including enough kitchen gears for everyday meal serving 10. The staff (Jen) was very kind and very responsive to accommodate our last-minute ask for a late checkout due to the kid's final. Only two things could be improved: 1) internet connection is still using DSL that posed unreliable & slow connections. Consider your own hotspot if you're planning to work or school remotely from this home. 2) things around the home are a bit old. Ex: linens, counter high chairs, pots/pans, etc. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home w. us. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen counter and the view every day.

Overkmarketed and Misrepresented

Unfortunately, this place was highly misrepresented and overrated. There is a VERY strong odor of urine and mold. Simply speaking, this place is a dump. Weutterly DID NOT enjoying the property. WOULD YOU be willing PLEASE send your team ASAP to investigate and prevent other people to be ripped off. ESPECIALLY pay attention to: 1. the odor of urine and mold 2. dirty old carpets 3. worn-out sheets and towels 4. broken showers 🚿 : master bathroom does not turn hot water 5. POOP 💩 under toilet seats seats 🚽 PS: Please ALSO consider BORDED WINDOWS !! It felt like we were sleeping in the shelter for the homeless. Thanks

Overall not very impressed

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Parts of the house were nice and updated but others were very old and dated (very 70's). The kitchen was large but missing a lot of essential items. There was no bath soap provided in any of the bathrooms. The decor was somewhat odd for a mountain home (very ornate, eastern decorations). The downstairs carpet was very old and it smelled musky. All of the bedrooms are downstairs and three of the bedrooms shared one of the 3 full baths (the other full bath was upstairs off the kitchen). The bath tub in the shared bathroom was very impractical. The bedrooms downstairs are directly under the kitchen and it is very loud if people are walking around upstairs. The bunk room was tiny with no window coverings. The neighbor on the west side of the home is apparently an elderly gentleman who will call the sheriff if people are outside talking too loudly past 8pm. He also appeared to have a security camera pointing towards the home. There is no air conditioning and no screen on the door out to the balcony so leaving the door open let in bugs. They apparently make you shovel your own snow if you stay here in the winter. The views of the lake from the home were beautiful but this was one of the only positive things about this property. Do not think I would stay here again.

So so rental

First impression forecasted the stay there at the house. The walkway to the front door was completely blocked by ice and snow in two locations. This was the only way to get the key to the house and to get to the front door. I had to request for the code to open the garage, which I didn’t receive until about the third day there. Communication with Tahoe Getaway’s is ver slow, sometimes not receiving a response or answer for a day or day and a half. The next issue was that the whole balcony fronting the kitchen/dining room area was totally inaccessible and completely blocked any view out the window. Totally, no view. It was just ice and snow. You would think, even though the area received a record amount of snow they would have prepped the house for a new renter. If during the rental period snow and ice built up, that’s understandable, but not totally blocking the entrance to the front door and totally blocking any view or access to the balcony. The next few things are relatively minor, but hopefully fixed by the time someone else pays to stay there: all the toilets are loose (the wobble when sitting on), all the sink drains in all the downstairs bathrooms are very slow to drain, the jacuzzi downstairs is inoperable, the shower handle in the master shower is very difficult to operate. Hopefully these issues will be addressed before anyone else pays to stay here. If they are then it will be much more enjoyable. We personally will not rent from a property managed by Tahoe Getaways again. I hope if you do, your stay will be a lot more enjoyable then ours. Good luck

super clean, beautiful views, but...

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin was incredibly clean and comfortable, but, when we got the call from the property management to tell us it was ready to check in, they said the previous two renters had late parties and the neighbors were ready to call the sheriff if we made any noise after 10pm ... um, welcome??? It is described as having acreage but it is all behind the cabin, it is actually very close to the neighbors (which is probably why they were so annoyed by the previous renters noise). The hot tub is actually about 20 feet from the neighbors living room. This was an annual trip we make with 5 families and usually we trade off hosting dinner at one cabin each night and we ended up canceling our night to host. There are no shades in the master bedroom and the view is amazing, but the sun comes shooting in at 6am so bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep in. The bunk room is about the size of a walk in closet. We had planned to have our 14 year old son and his friend stay in there but it was WAY too small, more appropriate for small children. They ended up sleeping on the foldout couch in the game room which they loved anyway. The living room was comfy and game room was a great addition for our teenagers. The property is located at the end of a residential road and we had friends in Tahoe City so it we had a lot of travel time. It is about 5-10 minutes from King's Beach so not too bad if that is your destination. Like I said, it was clean but we probably wouldn't stay here again. It didn't "feel" as much of a mountain cabin as we prefer (clean, but modern furnishings with an Asian feel), it was far from where our friends were staying and we enjoy walking to the lake, the neighbors dog barked a LOT, there was construction, window washers at both neighbors at 8am one morning with music playing, just a lot of normal neighborhood noise... But the property management was great and even delivered a replacement coffee pot right away when we discovered it was broken.
