This space is perfect for a group of 5 or fewer who want to enjoy all Nantucket has to offer. It is minutes from the island's South Shore Beaches (Surfside 5 mins), and Stop and Shop/Mid Island Restaurants (2 mins). Getting around is easy with the Wave Shuttle Stop and bike path across the street.

As expected

We stayed for a long weekend, a group in our mid-30s, and overall the experience was as expected based on the listing and photos.It was relatively clean, though we did notice a fair amount of cobwebs throughout. Also worth noting: the owner lives on-site and did ask us to keep the noise down on Friday evening, so this may be something to keep in mind if your group plans to be social. Sound insulation is also limited—you can hear everything from upstairs, with noise typically starting around 7am.it suited us fine for a short weekend getaway. Just a few things to be aware of depending on your preferences.

We had a fantastic stay at this rental! Charles, the owner, was incredibly welcoming—and meeting his sweet puppy Honey was a bonus highlight. The location was ideal, with easy access to the Nantucket Wave bus system, which made getting around the island a breeze. Inside, the home has a unique industrial-nautical charm that’s both stylish and cozy—thoughtfully designed with lots of character. It was a great experience from start to finish, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay while visiting Nantucket for the 1st time! This property is located in a great location - and the bus stop was across the street! The grocery store was only a few blocks away so we also walked there. The property itself was very comfortable, and the host was delightful to chat with. Any concerns we had were addressed immediately. We felt very safe and I would definitely stay here again if I ever get another chance to visit Nantucket.

Good choice! We’d go back!

Pros: bus stop directly across the street was a huge plus and it is free through 2025. Renovation of basement (and it was bright inspite of lower level location) done very well and decor was locally specific which we loved! Lots of books, comfy beds, hot water in the shower even with three people taking showers in a row. TV worked flawlessly. Temps in unit were perfect throughout the stay. Plenty of blankets for the beds. Cons: a bit musty yet owners did well to have a dehumidifier in the unit. Lots of cobwebs in corners. Had to clean coffee pot before using—there is no dishwasher. Need mirror in bedroom!! You can hear the people living upstairs walking around, sneezing, using the water.

The Best Spot on Nantucket!!!

My girl friends and I have been coming out to Nantucket for a long weekend for years now and this was by far the best place we’ve ever stayed!! Jais was wonderful to rent from and the on-property manager Charles (and Honey) was an absolutely delight!! We can’t wait to come back next year, 10/10 could not recommend enough!!!

We had family on island for the weekend and this was our overflow house for the young adults. Its nicely appointed albeit somewhat far from town. Jais and the on property owner are wonderful and easy to work with. Definitely look at this property if you are staying in Nantucket.

Nantucket stay

This was our first time visiting the island. We had a great time! The host was very friendly and has a very friendly dog. This downstairs apartment is part of a multi-unit house located in a quiet neighborhood and very centrally located.

This apartment is lower level and opens up to the living & dining area, with plenty of space to eat or decompress after a day at the beach! The fully stocked kitchen includes a gas range and a piece of historical Nantucket with an antique soapstone kitchen sink from the Cherry Hill Farm House. The space is eclectically decorated for an Old Nantucket vibe that will remind you of your summers on island as a kid. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and 1 twin, the secondary has 2 twins. This space is perfect for a family who wants to enjoy ACK! As a bonus, there is a washer and dryer in unit so you don't need to take home any wet beach clothes!
