After a thrilling day on the slopes at Jack Frost Ski Resort or enjoying a round at Stone Meadows Golf Course, fire up the gas grill on the wraparound deck and unwind with loved ones. With direct access to Arrowhead Lake, you can cruise in the provided kayak or canoe, or simply lounge by the community pool for a laid-back afternoon. Inside, you’ll find a spacious, family-friendly retreat with WiFi, a foosball table, and plenty of room to relax in front of the gas fireplace. Whether you're soaking up the outdoors or cozying up indoors, this home offers the perfect balance of adventure and tranquility.

The check in process, as far as getting our QR codes for the entrance and facilities was not easy. I emailed, who I thought was the owner, but was the property manager but did not receive replies. I did call the number on the listing only to get a call back from the property manager saying I called the owner and not her. The phone number on the listing should be changed to her number if it has not been already. With that being said, the property manager is very kind and now that I know the process, I would not hesitate to stay at this property again.

Family get away

House was beautiful, game room was added bonus of fun!!! When booking we did ask for early check in and they were able to to do that for us which we appreciated. Communication could be better. We were given no specific check in or out instructions. Once we got to community we found out that we had to drive 10 minutes back to the main road to Check in and get keys for the gate .

Great layout with some inconveniences

The house itself was great! A lot of space, great layout & the gaming rooms were awesome! The location to the Lake was nice w/ a great fire pit area; however, having a dock would have been easier to use the kayaks and canoe from. I also wasn’t aware the lake was only 2 feet deep so my kids could not swim as I was hoping. In addition, we were not provided the shampoo and conditioner listed but luckily we had our own. There were also just enough towels to use- no extras. We also had to make our own beds which we didn’t realize until night when we were about to go to sleep. The cleaning team had put the comforters and pillows on and left the sheets folded on the bed, but we assumed those were extras not the sheets we would need to put on 4 beds ourselves. We also realized we had no Internet at the end of the 1st night when we wanted to stream movies so we reached out to the property manager the next morning, but did not hear back until much later the second evening. My husband was unable to answer work emails bc of this. We knew we probably just had to reset the router, but could not find it as it was in a room with a keypad. We assumed it was locked as were the other keypad doors but once we finally did get in touch with the property manager, who had to ask the owner, they said the door itself was actually not locked. Again, it was a great house, but the small details make a difference. I would also suggest adding a gate to the top deck since it is a dog friendly home.

Book lakeside escape you will not regret it!

Our recent stay at this Lakeside Escape VRBO property was absolutely delightful. From the moment we arrived, we felt comfortable and at home. The property itself exceeded our expectations in every way. It was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was truly remarkable. One of the highlights of our stay was the serene surroundings. The natural beauty of the property offered a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether we were lounging on the patio or cozying up by the fireplace, we felt a sense of tranquility that was truly rejuvenating. In addition to the beautiful surroundings, the location of the property was perfect for exploring the area. With being close to skiing/ snowboarding resorts, water park, and so much more, there was never a dull moment during our stay. And after a day of adventure, it was always a pleasure to return to the comfort of our home away from home. Overall, our experience at this VRBO property was nothing short of exceptional. Our host, Nicholas, went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable stay, and we are already counting down the days until we can return. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise with us - we can’t wait to come back!

Good very easily could be Great

We had 9 family members stay for a week including two children. Pros: The house was large and had a ton of room for us to spread out and relax and for others to work without being disturbed. The beds were super comfy as was the sofa. The game room was great lots to do. The kitchen had plenty of dishes for our big group. The lake was beautiful and the canoes were great to use, as was the outdoor campfire. My five and seven year old had THE BEST time. The community has this great 80s summertime vibe that we enjoyed. We loved the area and home overall. CONS: A major issue with the community is having to register cars before arrival. We had a guest that needed to bring a different car at the last minute and the Community would not let her drive into the community. The owner was great at working with us thru this issue but could be a big problem for future visitors. As another reviewer said the sinks were slow to drain and the downstairs one didn’t work at all. There was also trash outside and the kitchen definitely needs more organization and maybe some editing. A guidebook would also be a very nice addition. The home could also use more pantry space for guests. I think with some minor changes this place could be really great. That being said the experience we had overall was great - we definitely made some good memories.

The lake was beautiful, the location on the lake was lovely. The beds and furniture were comfy. There was a big enough dining room table everyone who stayed. Lots of things to do! Hosts were friendly and accommodating. There were some issues- sinks that would not drain and the sink in the basement wouldn’t turn on at all. The kitchen is lacking some basics (measuring cups, pitchers). There was trash in the backyard. The house is a bit beat up in places. This was not a cheap house compared to the others we were considering- for this price we expected more. I had some communication issues- but that may have been the app rather than the hosts. Hard to tell. The ability to use of all of the facilities associated with the lake community was confusing. For example, using the fitness center is difficult- they provide you one key card per vehicle and you need that not only to get into the building but then to get into the fitness center down the hall. Be careful about being dropped off at the fitness center while your family goes to do something else. I wish they’d include fees for the community in the price as well. At this point there are only a couple reviews, so I would expect they’re getting their footing in what to provide. A welcome booklet with a map and info about the lake community options would be a good addition.

Family Fun

The house was perfect for our family the setup fine.The house was clean with good layout. Waterfront could use some work but use of kayaks was easy ! Many community activities for young children with good beaches close to house.
