This home provides the PERFECT location and all the required amenities for a GREAT vacation! The Confederation Trail which connects the Island Tip to Tip is just across the street, there is a grocery store a 3 minute walk, Tea Hill Beach is a very short drive and Downtown Charlottetown with its dining, tours, shows, nightlife, waterfront and shopping is less then a 5 minute drive! You also have a host of the Island’s best golf courses all within a 1/2 hour drive!

Very convenient to Charlottetown! Home is on 2 levels. Kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom and living room on main level. Downstairs has a TV room (which we did not use, so I can’t say anything about it)Very quiet neighborhood. The neighborhood is well lit at night but the owner has put in very dark curtains so the bedrooms are not bothered by the lightingOwner is very responsive to email before and during our stay. Would definitely recommend this home

Roomy, well outfitted for our 3 day visit. Nice quiet neighborhood location. Handy to grocery, gas, etc and easy access to Charlottetown. Good communication with owner. We’ll hope to come back another time!

Comfortable and clean place with easy access to shopping. We enjoyed our stay. The TV room in the basement was a nice bonus for a movie night. The kitchen was well stocked and bedrooms a good size.

The property was very nice. Everything was there that I needed. Would suggest that a couple towel bars or hooks would be good for towels after a shower , so the towels could dry better.Wifi was great. My 55 yr old son visited for one night and my 53 yr old daughter and her partner visited for one night. So not as busy as our usual family gathering but we had a family member die on Friday night , so others remained in Halifax.

Smoke Infested House

As soon as we opened the door my 11 year old son covered his nose and said it smelled like smoke. It was almost stomach turning as I had to quickly open all windows and doors in the house. Being an extremely busy time in PEI, there were very little other options and I had already paid for this rental. Given that, I decided I had no choice but to wash all towels and bedding while leaving the windows open for the 5 day 4 night stay. The TV room in the basement was the worst for smoke and we could not even open the basement door as the smell would start wafting upstairs. This was not a suitable place for anyone to stay with that type of health hazard. I contacted the owner and he stated he would talk to his cleaners and apologized and that someone must have smoked before we got there in the house. I asked for a refund of some sort but William has gone silent. I would never recommend this house to anyone in fear of the health hazard by smoke inhalation. VRBO should have some sort of policy where they hold the rental fees until renter and rentee are in agreement the stay was satisfactory.

Nice duplex in quiet neighborhood

The duplex is in a quiet neighborhood with quick access to stores and downtown Charlotte. Bill was very responsive with communication. We would definitely stay here again.

Well worth the money

The place is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It was a great place to relax in between activities. Groceries, supplies, fast food and ice cream is only minutes away. There was everything we needed for the times we ate in and to clean up after. Sometimes there was some traffic when going places, but the driving was easy. It isn't a spot to throw wild parties. It is a great spot for a relaxing stay

Stratford getaway

Very quiet neighbourhood, easy access to Charlottetown and many beaches close by. We recommend this place to everyone.

Would not recommend

The location is good and the house is spacious. We rented this place based on the 5 reviews which all said it was very clean. This was not clean at all. As soon as we walked in we were met with a terrible smell. It smelled like the previous occupant had been a heavy smoker. We had to wipe the kitchen counters and table before we could use them. There was a layer of dust on all the furniture, bedroom mirrors, baseboards and baseboard heaters. The floors may have been swept but definitely not washed before we checked in. There was a throw blanket on the sofa downstairs that we could use but it was filthy. We put it in the washer along with the rag that had been left on the kitchen counter. The dryer smelled like cat urine and there was a sticky residue in the bottom. We wiped it out but chose to dry the blanket outside instead. There were no hand towels or facecloths in the bathroom. If the house was given a really deep clean it would be a decent rental but I wouldn’t recommend it in its present condition.
