Con 3 cómodas habitaciones familiares y una cocina totalmente equipada con refrigerador grande, cocina, lavaplatos y microondas. Todas las necesidades de tus amigos y familiares serán satisfechas. El lavadero está equipado con lavadora y secadora. Salga por la puerta para encontrar una ducha exterior y un amplio patio con espacio para su barco y RV. Great property, great location

This is the 2nd year we have used this house. It's a great location, plenty of space and really good sea views. Dolphins were visible most days.

Slaughter Beach Vacation Home

This was our second year staying at this house and we really love it here. There is plenty of space for everyone, a fully stocked kitchen and the house is very clean. We like it here because we can take out our paddleboards, kayaks sailing kayak and walk for miles on the beach.

family vacation

This was our second stay at this property and we had a great time once again. We had three generations of family with kids (age 3 & 5) and we made life lasting memories. The property has amazing views of the bay, it is great place for young children as the the Bay has less waves and is flat at times like a lake; we will be back some time in the near future

Loved this house!

This property had everything we wanted for our vacation. Great location right on the beach. The sunrises are so beautiful here. We saw porpoises, turtles, cranes, and horseshoe crabs etc. and the beach was never crowded. Our communication with the owner was always fast and pleasant! I hope to bring my family here one day. VRBO should be proud of this rental and owner!

Incredible Vacation!

The pictures of this property do not do it justice. It's was beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners have thought of everything down to the smallest detail. The proximity to the beach and ease of using the walking path were so convenient. We were blessed with beautiful weather and shared some wonderful times with family. I cannot wait to return!

Amazing Stay at Slaughter Beach!

A small community with amazing beach...its a different beach every day! Love, love, love that this beach is out of the way and lacking in crowds and tourists! PERFECT. House was lovely with enough room for everyone to spread out but common spaces aplenty for coming together!! Fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds for a good nights sleep. We will be bacl.

Nice, family place on a quiet uncrowded bay beach. Old school seashore decor. Nicer than the photos portray. Only downside — late check in (4pm) and early check out (10am), adjusting to the norms of 3pm and 11am would be sweet. Feedback to vrbo (not the owner) — hate the add-on fees, transparency in pricing during searches would be appreciated.

Beach time get away

The house was very nice and had a well equipped kitchen. You could use some larger sauce pans. The beach was very private with plenty of space. During low tide, the water goes out very far and you see a lot of mud. The adults didn’t mind just sitting on the beach, but the kids did not care for it.

Another great year!

This was our second time staying in this home and it was just as wonderful as we remembered! Love having bedrooms on two floors so we can put the kids to bed downstairs (they sleep in one downstairs bedroom, we sleep in another downstairs, grandparents sleep upstairs, had one more upstairs room empty) then hang out upstairs for adult time. Can’t beat the beach view from the porch. House is clean, comfy, and lovely. Locals, especially the owners of closeby houses on either side, are so kind and welcoming. Love this beach and house for relaxing time for all ages.

Another great year on Slaughter Beach

This was our third year in this home and it was another wonderful time! We love how quiet this beach is—we set up our tent and chairs when we arrive and don't have to move them all week. The locals have become people we look forward to seeing again year after year--so kind and welcoming. You can't beach the nature you see here either ... this year we enjoyed observing sea cucumbers, a variety of jellyfish, hermit crabs, spider crabs, ghost crabs, horseshoe crabs, blue crabs, brown pelicans, great blue herons, seagulls, and sandpipers. We caught and released tons of croakers, and our neighbor caught and released a dogfish shark, which absolutely delighted the kids. We can't wait to come back next year!

So beautiful and relaxing!

This was our first visit to Slaughter Beach. We were ready to get away from "commercialism" and made the perfect choice when we chose this location. The house was wonderful! The furnishings and all the personal touches were so welcoming. We especially enjoyed the owner's original artwork! The mattresses were amazing! The other couple that vacationed with us as well as the friends that visited for a couple of nights during the week all remarked at how comfortable they were. The home was quite spacious. It was the most well laid out floor plan of any home we have vacationed in. With 2 living rooms and an expansive deck, there is ample room for multiple adults and/or children to have their own space. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. The wine/beverage fridge was a wonderful addition and was put to good use during our stay. We had no problems with internet connectivity and streaming. As for Slaughter Beach and the Marvel Salt Marsh, they are beautiful! What incredible natural resources are encompassed in such a small & quiet community! We were completely relaxed from the moment we arrived and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We had a wonderful week and will no doubt visit again. The owner, Lesley, deserves AAA rating!

August 2024 vacation

We were surprised and delighted how nice this property was including its convenient location to the nearby towns and other ocean beaches. We had a great and fun time here, good memories! Very comfortable space, furniture and beds were all very comfortable. Our group consisted of 5 adults and a 2-1/2 year old, plenty of room for everyone, house layout worked perfectly for us. Beautiful, private, clean beachfront that was so easy to access, just walk right out to it! Low tide teems with marine life and tidal pools, quite awesome to experience that. The large deck has stunning views of the water and plenty of comfortable deck chairs. Dining room table was more than big enough for all of us, we had great meals here. Appliances all worked great. I would absolutely recommend staying here, and we would be glad to rent this property again. The only complaint was the place needs a good scrubbing. There was a nasty, grimy ring around the tub and the bathroom wasn't that clean overall. Dusty and dirty corners and windowsills. Our bedspread had stains so we didn't use it but the mattress pads and beds were clean. I would recommend a more diligent cleaning crew as rooms seemed to just get a basic wipe down; the silverware and utensil drawers all had crumbs in them, and the fridge had fingerprints all over it on our arrival. But we did an easy clean-up and really enjoyed our stay here.

Quiet and spaceous

The property had plenty of room and bedrooms for a large group. Well stocked kitchen, some entertainments, and great view of the water. The path from the beach toward an outdoor shower & then into the house with a bathroom and laundry was a helpful plus. Flies can be a bit of a problem at Slaughter Beach in the summer, but there were swatters available to help out when needed. Quick drive to many other locations and a peaceful place to stay. Thank you!

Slice of paradise

Stayed for an amazing week with my wife two kids (4 and 2 years old) and friends and their two kids of same age. The house is right on a quiet and beautiful peaceful beach and it is very kids friendly and safe. Perfect place for a family vacation. The house has everything you will need and is well equipped. We will be returning next year.

Perfect getaway

My family enjoyed this little slice of heaven right on the quiet beach. They were most happy with catching sharks at high tide right from the shore and building sandcastles. Rehoboth beach and Boardwalk were very easily accessible. The kitchen was very well stocked and felt just like home.

Brother and Sister purchased beach house together in 2004. Both families enjoy all that Slaughter Beach has to offer as a get-away from their homes in Maryland.

Very quiet beach neighborhood, community playground with tennis and basketball. Your own sandy beach with beautiful sun rises. Public boat launch is just over a mile away. Groceries, adult beverages, and fuel can be found in Milford, just a few miles away. Still, close to entertainment (Dover Downs, Lewes, Rehoboth and Ocean City Beaches), history (Dover Air Force Museum) science (Dupont Nature Center) shopping (3 full outlet centers in Rehoboth with tax free buying).

Beachfront, within 75 feet of the waters edge, very quiet, beautiful bay scenes during the day and wonderful night skies with views of Cape May Lighthouse at night.
