The fox den is truly one of a kind. Private downstairs unit. Just a short walk to popular Front St to enjoy all the unique shops and live music at The Purple Fiddle. Luxurious 2 br with queen nectar mattresses. You'll enjoy a fully stocked kitchen with a spacious bar eating area. Wifi streaming with Amazon firetvs in both bedrooms and living room. Large bathroom with custom walk-in shower with bench. Take in all the attractions or stretch out on the comfy couch to watch a movie. Convenient large parking area. Steps lead down to your cozy covered porch to grill out and relax. Where you'll also find the firepit common gathering area with picnic table and cornhole boards. Great location!

One of the nicest hosts and sweetest places we've stayed in a while! Quiet, relaxing and close enough to everything! Beds were comfy too! Will definitely stay again if we are visiting the area!

Location was very conveniently located to Thomas and Davis WV. The Fox Den is adorable and perfect for a small family. The kitchen is very well stocked. The whole unit is very well organized and have many great touches such as a Bluetooth speaker, towel warmer, and easy to use technology. The fire pit area and porch were excellent for relaxing and enjoying the peacefulness of the area. Everything we needed was available in the unit which took any worry out of our stay.

Loved the space! Clean, neat, roomy, cute. Kitchen and bathroom well furnished. Was quiet because nobody was upstairs - we read comments about noise if someone is in the upstairs unit. Plenty of parking amd close to town.

We had a nice stay at The Fox Den! It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. It was a short drive to lots of points of interest. We enjoyed trying out area restaurants and walking through the towns of Davis and Thomas and Blackwater State Park.

The unit was very nice and comfortable. I loved the view from the deck. The multicade was a lot of fun! Very close to Thomas and Davis. The Mountain State Brewery was very close and the staff was welcoming and food was good. Great place to stage our ski trip at Timberline!

The Fox Den was a nice short walk to downtown Thomas, which although not big, has what you need to grab morning coffee, lunch and music/drinks in the evening. Despite being on the main road, the Fox Den was very quiet and easy to get in and out of.

The property is located along the main road outside of Thomas. Downtown Thomas and Mountain State Brewery are within waking distance. The house was very clean and has a nice outside area with a community fire pit and a picnic table. We will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect Spot in Thomas

We had a great stay—everything was exactly as listed. The house was clean, cozy, and in a perfect location within walking distance to all the downtown Thomas fun. The outdoor space with the deck, picnic table, and fire pit looked amazing—wish it had been a little warmer so we could’ve enjoyed it more. Would definitely stay again!

Thoughfil and Trouble free

The Fox Den was a perfect place for our short stay. The rooms were stoked with everything we needed and were quite cozy for our small family. We had a lot of fun with the arcade cabinet! Would not hesitate to stay there again.

The stay was great! I would highly recommend staying at the Fox Den or any of their other properties. We loved the Pac-Man game. The centers of Thomas and Davis are adorable. This is a great location for hiking Blackwater State Park. If you are reading the reviews and come across the noise reviews, I honestly did not find the noise from the upstairs unit to be bad at all, and my son didn’t even hear the noise. It’s literally just some footsteps here and there. During our stay, there were two different sets of guests above us and the host cleaned above us. I was not bothered by the noise any of the times. If you have someone in your party that is noise sensitive, maybe have them sleep in the room closest to the deck. However, I found the noise very typical of multi floor living. The space was clean and comfortable and had a lot of modern conveniences. I was the flick lights in my house now. The WiFi was great which is a necessity for this area as cell service is limited.

Only downside was the fact that we could hear every single footstep/movement from upstairs. To be clear, it was not a lot of noise, like no loud talking or music but that I think the walls are very thin. If there would have been more than one or two folks above having a sort of gathering or were awake late into the night, it could be disruptive.
