The view was the best part. The apartment was a good fit for us.

Nothing fancy, but it had all the things we needed to cook and clean. We cooked more than half the time and ate out a hand full of times. The bedrooms were nice, but the mattresses were lumpy and should be replaced. Especially the master bed. The bathrooms were fine. Water pressure could be a better, but it was OK. The drain in the hallway shower was clogged and didn't drain. The faded green carpet in the bedrooms was absolutely gross. Those are all of the negative things, but overall we really like the apartment. The elevator is a death trap. It needs to be repaired. Its an oven. I almost melted inside even for the short, yet really slow ride to the sixth floor. One of the guests i spoke with said they were trapped in the elevator and were rescued by the fire department. We only used the elevator 3-4 times for the whole week we were there. We mainly took the stairs. The pool was nice. But there was sooooooo much pot. the constant smell of marijuana was everywhere. There has to be a countermeasure for the pot if you ever want my business again.I can tolerate old, ugly, smelly carpet and small annoyances. But you have to fix the elevator and solve the pot problem.

Reviewer Comments: The patio chairs were so uncomfortable it made the patio experience not relaxing at all. The high-top chairs need new cushions. There is mold on the vanity in the second bathroom. The same bathroom toilet leaked and soaked all the clothes in a suitcase on the floor. The beach chair attendant was a jerk.

When thinking of where we wanted to take our summer vacation, it was an easy decision to book another rental at the Islander! The property location is right on beautiful white sand and water in a safe area for running and walking on beach or pavement. We like that all buildings are low rise max 7 stories) due to the proximity to the Air Force base. The property is well maintained and cared for with a nice pool area. Condo was clean with nice amenities. Our local restaurant favorites were Parlor donuts, The Gulf, Stewby’s, The Shack and Ali’s Bistro. Hope to vacation here again!

Beautiful Beach Condo

However, we found candy wrappers in the couch bed and the sheets to the couch bed had crumbs on it when we arrived. Also, in the bedrooms there were items left in the drawers from previous occupants. The garbage disposal also did not work at all in the kitchen sink. Other than that the water and beach was beautiful and the condo was nice.

We had a group of 5 adults and 3 kids under 7. We had plenty of room to move around and have our own space when needed.

It was pretty nasty so we picked up the glass and cleaned all the crumbs and sticky whatever up and put the glass back down. The condo lacked cookie sheet to bake biscuits and large bowl(used a pot) We were in 3 different Condo's. As for everything else in the Condo itself I have no complaints. The Condo, sheets and towels were clean.
