Perched on a quiet hill above Porters Lake, a calm, no-wake lake tucked into the woods of central Wisconsin, this 3-bedroom home sleeps 10 and was made for being together. In fall, the trees around the water turn gold and red. Mornings start crisp and still, with coffee on the pier. Afternoons are for one last paddle before the boats come in, casting for bass and bluegill off the dock, or a hike at Nordic Mountain just 5 minutes away. Then come the best parts of the season: the fire pit crackling, the swings rocking, s'mores in hand, and the hot tub steaming under the stars.



When the air turns cold, the fun moves inside. The speakeasy-style game room has a pool table, ping pong, air hockey, shuffleboard, a Pac-Man arcade and a 70" TV by the electric fireplace, made for football Sundays and late-night tournaments. Chill a bottle in the wine fridge, fire up the coffee bar in the morning, and let the Blackstone handle breakfast for the whole crew.



Wautoma's shops and cozy supper clubs are about 10 minutes away, including Silvercryst for a classic Friday fish fry.



We're Becky and Eric, longtime Wautoma locals, and we stocked this home the way we'd want it for our own family. All you have to do is show up and make the memories.
