New Listing - Pool House Villa, by stunning Bottom Bay Beach, St Philip

The Pool House is a lovely home from home Villa located on the South East coast in the parish of St Philip. The property has a very private, great sized Pool (24' by 16') and large patio area. Ideal for a leisurely swim, the pool being 4'6" at its deepest level. Dining and relaxing on the covered patio ( not overlooked) in total privacy.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a open plan lounge with dining area, housing a large 6 seater dining table and chairs.
Coffee maker, toaster and other small appliances are available for your convenience.
The washing machine is located in a secure, lockable out-house off the driveway. A rotary washing line is also available.
All of the 3 bedrooms are Air Conditioned and have ceiling fans. The master bedroom having an ensuite bathroom. Ample wardrobe and cupboard space is also available.

On site Property Manager (Jan) will meet and greet you at check in at the Villa. Jan is very welcoming and the font of local knowledge. Jan will also be on hand to deal with any issues at the Villa. She is literally a phone call away. The Property Manager also rents out a full sized ( gas bottle ) BBQ, please ask at time of booking as it can be limited availability ( especially during the peak season).

Bed linen, bathroom and kitchen towels ( including Pool Towels ) are provided for your stay.

The Pool and Gardens will be cleaned/maintained during your stay, Jan will advise which days to expect the gardener and pool guy.
It is recommended to use the plastic drink ware for the Pool/ patio area for safety.

The beautiful Bottom Bay beach is a 5 minute stroll from the Pool House Villa. This is the Atlantic side of the Island, so waves and current in the amazing Ocean are very strong.

The 3 bedroom Villa is very private and not overlooked with it's own impressive Pool and decking area. Perfect for a getaway from it all Vacation.

Emerald City Shopping village at Six Roads is less than 10 minute drive away with a well stocked Supermarket ( open 7 days a week), gas station, bank, post office, other stores ( including Cheffete for fast food) & a Chinese restaurant.

Tap Water is very safe to drink in Barbados, due to the coral core with its vast array of caves and underground lakes, making the naturally filtered water perfectly safe.

Whilst there is no immediate 'night life' on this very tranquil and peaceful development, there are a number of restaurants a short drive from the Villa. More choice further South ( about a 25 minute drive).

We could not be happier with our stay at the Pool House. It’s an amazing property and our host Jan was wonderful. The pool is beautiful and definitely a bonus to the property. The place was easy to find and near some great beaches and restaurants. It was clean and had everything we needed. Although the wifi was out during our trip (no fault of our host) it didn’t dampen our trip one bit. We had an amazing experience and definitely plan to be back.

This place is awesome!!!

This property was home away from home, it accommodated my family with ease. Since I have been to Barbados before I was already prepared for the other elements like heat and often rain showers but the house gave a wonderful breeze and all amenities were spot on. We will definitely stay here again!!!

The property was not a cat-fish or anything of the sort, the images perfectly depict the property as they should. From the offset, booking the property, the owner was in contact and attentive enough to ensure we had every and anything we needed prior to arrival. Upon arrival and during our stay, the property manager was available and helpful with any requests that we had. The property was the perfect size for us, nice dining/living room space, spacious bedroom(s), and the pool was the cherry on top. Would definitely stay again and also recommend!

Great villa

Everything was great with the Villa lots of room and the pool and private backyard were fantastic. Walking to beach is very close by and lots of hiking trails.

Very nice property, with the pool being the favorite place at the beginning and end of each day. Nice, quiet location to relax and enjoy the sun.

Lovely get away from the hustle and bustle the other side of the island.

It was lovely to stay in a small parish which is made up mainly of locals. The locals were so friendly we were right at home the second we arrived. The house was lovely and the pool the cherry on the top. Lorraine and Jan did a wonderful job during our stay. The gardener and pool guy did a good job with regular visits making sure the pool was clean and safe and the garden well loved. We hope to come back again soon

Great home away from the busy areas

This was a lovely home. Great space for a family, the living area and bedrooms are all spacious so we never felt like we were o top of each other. The pool was amazing and very well kept. The home had all the amenities that a family would require, washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen utensils etc. We chose the area to be away from the busy areas of Barbados on a 20-25 min drive to the city. Would definitely recommend to anyone. A car is a must for this property so make sure you have a rental.

A Week in Paradise

Went for a church convention. Found the villa as it was advertised to be! Jan our care taker very courteous and helpful. Owner Lorraine also ! Highly recommend this villa. Will return if opportunity ever comes our way again! Thanks Lorraine and Jan!!

The Pool House

The villa was lovely, it was clean, spacious and well equipped, with everything we needed, the ice machine was great for cool drinks. We loved the pool and spent most of the time in there cooling off! The area is very quiet, Bottom Bay beach is just a 5 mins walk and is just beautiful but there is not much else within walking distance so a car is essential. There are a few supermarkets ten minutes drive away. Jan was helpful and available for any queries. Lorraine was great when booking, communication was excellent. One tip, download the the map of Barbados on google maps so that it can be used in offline mode as the cost of data roaming is extortionate.

The Pool Villa

Thanks to Lorraine for the use of her lovely villa well equipped and very comfortable with lovely well maintained pool. Apple Hall is a lovely little community, there was a brief power cut on our first day, however Will our neighbor knocked to assure us the problem had been caused by a troop of monkeys interfering with an overhead cable but he had the power company dealing with the matter. Many thanks to local contact Jan for meeting us, she had a bit of a wait because of delays at the airport after landing but this is Barbados. My wife left some clothing in the wardrobe fortunately we were moving to the west coast and Jan arranged for us to return and collect. This was our eight visit to the island in 20 years and i was delighted to return to fabulous Bottom Bay the most spectacular beach on the island. Surprisingly there were a dozen other people there, thats busy for BB Many thanks Lorraine and Jan Pauline and Keith

A relaxing place to really get to know the real Barbados

A wonderful villa with a beautiful pool in an authentic location. This was our second time to Atlantic Rising and we again had a fabulous time. You will need a car, as its an uphill walk to the main road and bus stops, which is tough going in the heat. However, if you want a slice of local life and an 'untouristy' area, this is for you. It's a great place to discover the island and kick back and relax. The villa is well stocked with equipment etc, but do realise you will need to bring any food and drink items with you. From memory, I don't even think there was salt and pepper. It wasn't a problem for us as I took some with me, but do plan ahead. Most groceries are expensive on the island, so try to bring some basics with you. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well kitted out and comfortable. The pool was just divine! Great seating/lounging/dining area too. I can thoroughly recommend The Pool House. Jan was fab and very helpful too. Thanks Jan!

Safe Haven with a pool!

The Pool House is a well laid out 3 BR 2BA home with space and privacy for everyone. Jan, the local contact, was amazing. We had some issues with small appliances and cooking equipment when we arrived: Jan had the items replaced the next day. She kept in contact during our stay, giving good advice and a "feel good" experience. Thank you very, very much, Jan. The pool and yard are well-maintained. The cleaner, who came weekly, kept the house spotless. There are AC units in the bedrooms, but most of the time, there is a lovely cooling breeze through the house. There is an outdoor dining table, loungers and plenty of seating on the patio beside the pool. A dip in the pool is the perfect solution to a hot day of touring or being on the beach. After exploring the island on the sometimes nerve-wracking roads, this house was a great place to come home to. You can always hear the ocean which is a 3 or 4 minutes walk away. Six Cross Roads is a short drive away where you can find groceries, an ATM and most things you might need.

Simply Magical

Our stay in Barbados at this guest house far exceeded our expectations! The property is beautifully kept with an amazing outdoor patio and swimming pool. The home is situated in a quiet residential community and is a 5-minute walk to the beach. The home also has all the perfect amenities. My family adored this location and the property managers are exceptional! We absolutely want to stay here again when we return to Barbados:)

Ein sehr schönes, gepflegtes Haus mit Pool in einer ruhigen Wohngegend haben für uns den Urlaub perfekt gemacht. Es fehlte an nichts. Die Kommunikation mit Lorraine und Jan war hervorragend und herzlich. Alles hat toll geklappt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen. Vielen Dank für alles!

Crop over in Barbados

Peaceful retreat away from the crowds

We are a family of 2 + 2 and the villa did meet our needs perfectly. The pool was great, we never heard from any neighbours and other than the occasional visit from the neighbourhood cat, we were very private. Although Barbados is a small island, some roads are very busy and some I wouldn't even call a road; this does mean that getting from A to B takes longer than one might imagine when you look at the mileage. Something to bear in mind when considering the location of the villa. Just a small issue but we very quickly ran out of toilet roll. I know it is not a hotel with daily service but we can't ever remember having to buy toilet roll from any of our other stays. It is also worth bearing in mind that groceries are very expensive in Barbados and probably explains why the fridge and food cupboards were totally empty.

Excellent Villa in Bottom Bay

The villa was perfect for the 4 of us with aircon in each of the 3 bedrooms, spacious living areas. Ideal location for exploring Barbados but recommended to rent a car. Villa is comprehensively provisioned with all equipment necessary for a holiday home. The well maintained swimming pool was a boon particularly after a long hot day. Jan and Lorraine were great with information and advice. Highly recommended

Paradise at the Poolhouse

Our stay in Barbados was amazing with the villa being beyond our expectations. Both Jan and Lorriane are easy to talk to and will try provide as much information as possible making the booking process and stay very comfortable. The villa came fully prepared and Jan was only too happy to show us around. Facilities were very straight forward to use with no issues, and the beach really is within 2 -3 minutes walk distance. Hire vehicle is definitely advisable (which they did advise as well) and located quite close (especially if driving) to six roads which is a major junction as well as Lendees who does cook ups on weekend evenings (fri and sat) is tasty and affordable compared to some of the other resturants on the island. Already thinking about returning next year as we had an amazing time, only problem is the UK government's indecisive actions towards their international travel policies makes planning and travelling abroad difficult...but fingers crossed...we will be back same time next year....

Loved it very much

I stayed with my mom and son for a few days and we truly enjoyed it. The icing on the cake was the private heated pool. Absolutely loved it. The neighbour is peaceful and quiet. Jan the property management was so pleasant. My son is already asking how soon can we go back. We will surely be back.
