Amazing house with plenty of space. The host was very responsive, and made finding the house, check-in, and entire weekend run smoothly. Will definitely rebook if in the area again.

We loved the house, beautifully decorated and everything was there that we needed. Loved the big yard for the kids to play. Definitely off the beaten path, which we enjoyed.

We rented this lake house for our family's get together. It was perfect for us. Everyone had plenty of room and were very comfortable. We enjoyed watching the deer and squirrels and walking down to the lake. We made s'more on the firepit and played cornhole. Many games and activities are available for all ages. We highly recommend this rental. Just a note..the 3 smart TV's are available for you to sign into your own streaming services. Netflix is not provided.

We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor spaces of the property and were thankful for the AC especially on the most humid days. The lake was a short hike from the yard but it didn’t prevent us from enjoying playing in and on the water. Very few mosquitos was a gift. The kitchen could have been a bit better equipped but we were able to cook everything we wanted to. All in all our family of 10 had a great week at the house!

Visited July 4th 2026. Nolin Lake is flooded and getting onto the lake is a little mucky.Gorgeous home, very clean. Plenty of kayaks and life jackets for everyone. Lots of outdoor balls and toys as well. Lots of kids books upstairs too!Had a high chair, booster seat and kids plates, silverware and cups. Outdoor seating options were plenty and comfortable. The layout of the house was perfect. We all got our own level and bathroom!

This house was a peaceful retreat about an hour's drive from Mammoth Cave National Park. It has spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and family areas and a large yard with a fire pit. We visited during the low water level time as described in the listing so we didn't benefit from the lake but still made use of the kayaks. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table and yard toys. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Absolute amazing! Perfect location if you are looking for peace & quiet. We went to Mammoth Caves two different days & Bardstown for another. Our kids loved everything about the house. The adults enjoyed being away from the craziness of life. I even got to get out & run/walk on the road from & to the house. I was greeted everyday by the cattle, the horses, some deer, goats and friendly country dogs. Owners were awesome! Thank you so much for sharing your home!

Great cabin and great host(s). This is our 3rd year in a row to rent this cabin and every year has been wonderful. It is a beautiful cabin, beautiful scenery/surroundings, very quiet and relaxing, comfortable beds, and well stocked kitchen. We will be back again next year.

We had such a fun friends long weekend at the house. Had perfect weather and enjoyed the fire pit, swimming in the lake off the beach with the floats and noodles, and just hanging around in the hot tub. Loved that there was so much furniture and seating for everyone no matter where we were. Would love to come back here again!!

Home is absolutely beautiful! Extremely clean and well stocked - the best we have stayed at! Only word of advice to others is low profile cars scrape bottom on the last part of road getting to the house and no way of avoiding.
