#HollyHouse is a labor of love, from tattered decommissioned church to custom space, filled with visual artists from CO+beyond. #HH regularly hosts performing artists/events business mtgs.
Four bedrooms, from the grand lofted master, with a princess balcony facing the mountains, huge master bath with sunken tub, and professional massage table. Lofted ceilings soaring above give the feeling of sleeping in a bird's nest, as you look outside to the 60' cotton woods just beyond.
Two main floor bedrooms, with new queen mattresses and beautiful art and appointments, each have a private half bath and share an oversized jack/jill shower. Above these 2 queen bedrooms, there is another loft with an oversized twin, couches and plenty spacious for yoga, with beautiful eastern light streaming in.
Downstairs, is a large media room, big screen tv, a beautifully appointed bedroom with designer furniture (updated after pictures taken, so no current pictures of the gorgeous furnishings) and a walk in bedroom. There is also a large full bath, also updated after photos taken. The media room has long vintage modular couches and two very comfy queen beds, making for a total of 1 king, 5 queens, oversized twin beds and comfy couches that can be easily configured to accommodate 2.
The kitchen has gourmet appliances (dacor gas range, liebher built in fridge, bosch and a walk in pantry with all you need for primo entertainment and family meals! An 8 part kitchen docuseries (Sacred Kitchen, Food is Thine Medicine) was filmed at #HollyHouse and the film crew, production team and culinary artists from around the world raved about the ease of working and filming in the amazing kitchen.
The common lofted open spaces, inside and out, are wonderful for game nights, movies, chats by the fire pits (2), cooking and eating together. The yards are professionally landscaped, with plenty of room for lounging in hammocks, custom ipe bench, inspired by the Highline Trail furnishings (NYC). 10 can easily sit around the gas fire pit, across from the open kitchen. Above the garage is an observation deck that looks towards the City skyscape and mountains and is a beautiful place to watch the sun and moon rise and set!
While you are only a stone's throw form downtown Denver, sitting in the North yard, you are in a private oasis, surrounded by 60-100 year old trees and 15trees planted over the last 4 years that define the professionally landscaped yards
#HH sits on a sunny oversized lot in the Historic Park Hill neighborhood, immediately adjacent to City Park to the west (largest in Denver) and a quick downhill bike ride to downtown Denver, on the many e-bikes and scooters about. Park Hill has cafes, some of Denver's top new restaurants, parks, rec centers/pools, cafes, brew pubs, specialty markets and wine shops. Vintage shops and numerous music venues line storied Colfax Ave. (of On the Road, J. Kerouac, fame) on South edge.

Other things to note Pets, events, and gatherings that exceed 10 additional (not overnight) guests, and commercial uses, including for Commercial photog, must be approved in advance, including any associated additional fees, without regard to instant book.

Lovely house located in a quiet neighborhood. Very convenient to all of our activities and great communication with the host. As others have commented, the design is unique, with most bedrooms not actually being completely closed off. That might be a concern for some, but it worked for our group of really good friends.

Super comfortable house beautifully appointed. Nine guys met for fantasy football draft weekend. Everyone had a bed, plenty of space to spread out. Gas fireplace and nice seating in outside areas felt larger than they are. Pingpong and pinball in garage a bonus. Good parking. Walking distance to a few restaurants and bars. Valissa was easy to work with and very accommodating. Overall 10/10.

In town to celebrate a graduation
This is a gem of a property. A converted church lovingly transformed into a cool, funky home. Decorated with beautiful artwork from around the world, presumably from the owners' travels, it has a great vibe. Our favorite spot was the backyard patio. Because we were visiting during a heat wave, it was a perfect respite in the mornings and late afternoon/evenings because it was well shaded.

Family vacation at the Holyhouse
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully refurbished church. The home and the grounds were both beautiful and interesting with decor from around the world. The host was incredibly accommodating which made the experience even more pleasant.

Great place in Denver. Host was very responsive. House is extremely clean and well stocked (extra toilet paper, napkins, spices, laundry detergent, condiments). Kitchen is awesome to cook in. Beds are very comfortable. Kids loved the ping pong table and hammock. Neighbors are nice and quiet. Great house. Great location. Close to 70. Would definitely stay again. There were lots of little extra touches that made it so comfortable. It was perfect for our family plus grandparents.

I’ll take these complaints in order and encourage Potential guests to Review my dozens of 10/10 reviews, which suggest something else may be bothering reviewer.
There are 6 front lights. Not all of these are on the same switch and all were working fine. When I received complaint that a bulb Was out, not knowing which light she was refering to, I immediately offEred to change bulb, not realizIng light was fine. She declined.
#HollyHouse is professionally cleaned Before each Guest stay, and an independent walk through by my son or I follows. As demonstrated by reviews, the home is spotless.
The very expensive antique Turkish rug the guest mentions in fRont is beaten reguLarly, and professionally cleaned annually. The Oaxacan rug, made by a crafTsman whose rugs are featured in the Smithsonian is also properly cared for, as any and all works of such craftsmenship should be!
The Kitchen is a “Chef’s Kitchen” with Dacor, liebherr, and bosch appliances, mid century Flatware, professional knIves and pOts/pans, and yes, a variety of spatulas, amongst everything else needed to entertain a few dozen folks, inclusing making eggs! :) The group was left a full bin of ice, and a bag of ice in secondary freezer, as promised. The ice maker is broken, one of the few accuracies in the review.
Paper towels were under the sink, and group was directed to extra in garage when she complaIned there was insufficient stock, along with kleenex
The garage has ping pong and pinball, neither of which prevent a car from being parked. The Ping pong table is easily folded. There are 4-5 surface onsite parking spots and it was not snowing During reservation.
There are no chandeliers in the home and no lightbulbs were missing. The guest complained about missing lightbulbs, and after I responded, she indicated that she had found the switches for the lights she thought were burned out. The guest complained about inadequate lamps. There are 9 to 10 lamps on site and I offered to supplement those. She declined.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are as described. Each bedroom has a closet. There are four bedrooms. In addition, I can set up three additional beds. And there is an accurately described and depIcted ladder accessed loft. :)
At the time each reservation is made, I immediately contact the reserving guest, describing the set up of the beds, including the ladder, accessed loft, and ask how the guest would like the house configured.
As with all guests, I contacted this this guest. She indicate she needed three additional beds in addition to the four bedrooms for her group of seven total. The ladder access loft is accurately described and depicted, and was not needed for her group.
I take tremendous pride in hosting, as is evident by my uniformly 10 of 10 reviews. I never want a guest to be unhappy with their stay, and it certainly would’ve helped this guest to have reviewed the photos, read the descriptions, and read the messages sent at the time of a reservation and during her stay.
#HollyHouse is work of art across ievery corner inside and outside in the professionally landscaped yards. I look forward to hosting you and your crew in this beautiful luscious art filled home!

Perfect stay in a gorgeous and soulful villa
Our stay at Holly House was one to never forget. The place is breathtakingly beautiful, is stylishly decorated and feels homely. The amenities were plentiful. Valissa was a perfect host and was very responsive and helpful yet professional. One thing underline is that the house has an open floor plan—we liked it, but for some groups the lack of privacy can be a no-no.

A very nice vacation home in a great location!
The house is perfect for close friends and families. We felt very comfortable during our stay and were well looked after by the owner. Always quick and helpful answers. The house was very central and had all the essentials. The house was very clean and the beds very comfortable. The house has several parking spaces directly on the property, which was perfect for us. All in all we had a great time and would love to come back!
