Pearl of the Sea - Waterfront Both Sides of Home .... BRING YOUR BOAT!

Recently renovated cottage with sunroom and porch. Intercoastal in front yard and canals in back yard. Private floating boat dock on canal behind home. Also a boat lift may be available upon request. Short walk to beach access. Open Living/Dining/Kitchen area. There are water views from each room of the house---they are the absolute best! They are in front and back--everywhere! You can sit on the front outside porch and/or sunroom and literally watch the dolphins swim by on the intracoastal---not to mention all the boats on it as well! This well-laid out home is located within 1.5 mile from bridge, restaurants, basketball court, and children's park. Everything you need to provide you with an easy, breezy visit to the coast while enjoying the great views.

We enjoy our stay very much. We really enjoyed the dart because we was able to bring our boat. My husband really liked that part of the house. We had a few problems but we let the owners know and they responded quickly about the problem. We will rent this place again

Cute little cottage

Amazing location with water views on 2 sides of the property. We brought our boat and cruised around the intercoastal waterway. Longer walk to the beach but the public access is right at the end of the road. House was tidy and provided us with enough room for our group of 7. We would stay here again!

Absolutely fantastic

Our stay at Pearl Of The Sea was absolutely fantastic. House was just like we had expected. Dock was great easy access in and out to intercoastal waterway a great dock for our boat and a great place for family and friends.

Great visit

Our family spent a long weekend at this house which had the ICW in the front yard and a canal in the back. Very convenient to the beach, restaurants, etc. Everyone loved it - a great stay!

AMAZING STAY

My family just got back from a 4 night stay and we will DEFINITELY be back!!! The house was perfect with so many thoughtful touches and lots of things to do for all kid ages. The location could not be more perfect! We fished right off the back dock every day and it was the highlight of the older kids trip. The homeowner is SO kind and responsive as well. 10/10 we will definitely be back

Perfect Place for Relaxation

This house was perfect for a relaxing family vacation. I highly recommend staying here if you want the best of the intercostal, canal, and beach. The house is well equipped with anything you may need and the beds are super comfortable.

Pearl of the Sea

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Pearl of the Sea. It was fun to watch the dolphins in the intracoastal waterway and fish off the canal dock. The home had everything we needed and the host was very responsive to us with questions and concerns during our stay.

Great place lots of memories made

Loved everything. Just wished it had more than the one mirror in the bathroom. Maybe there could be one on the wall or behind the doors in the bedrooms.

Wonderful views off both sides of the house

This house was the perfect setup for my family. We loved watching the boat traffic on both sides of the property. We just wish Debby didn't force us out early. We look forward to booking this property again and getting the full week experience.

Overall

The property was good the access to the basement was a little inconvenient having to go out and around to get in to wash clothes. The air seem to struggle with keeping it cool enough to our liking but it worked. The dock was a little scary with the one side broken had to watch my grandbaby very carefully with the unsteadiness of the dock.

Thanks for your comments! We strive to ensure guests do not open windows and/or doors when aur conditioning Is on as humidity and salt air cause it to do double time! The dock float came out from underneath it with bad winds and low, low tide…but all was corrected within 2 days of your departure. Everything is good to go! We strive very hard to listen to our guests and to make any and all repairs/replacements/updates to keep home in top top shape! Hope to see you again on another visit to Holden Beach real soon!!!!

Private Peninsula Property on ICW

Amazing property, amazing views. The intercoastal waterway is in the front yard and the channel is in the back with a spacious boat dock and back yard. The beach is only two blocks away! Very clean property, thoughtfully decorated. Well stocked kitchen. Very courteous, responsive, and respectful host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning to the Pearl of the Sea again, very soon. Thank you for sharing this wonderful property with us Sam, we look forward to our next stay!

Great location but unfriendly area

Location of the house is great with both and back having waterfront views. House in general is very clean. However, the dock at the back of the house has one floatation device broken, sinking one corner of the dock, making it unlevel and somewhat unsafe. We brought our boat and crab trap with us. However, we lost our crab trap because someone cut the rope of the trap and threw the floater on the nearby shoreline. This is the second time in Holden Beach that our crab trap was messed with by someone. It should be noted that we were careful in not placing our trap anywhere near the commercial crab traps.Last but not least, we were charged a very large amount of security deposit at the time of booking the trip, an amount that is equivalent to the total cost of rental for the stay. It took VRBO 14 days after we checked out before we got refunded. The owner told us VRBO was notified that there was no reported damage about 2 days after our checkout. We think not only was the amount of security deposit unnecessarily high, but to hold up customer 's deposit for 2 weeks after checkout was unacceptable. This alone is enough to make it uncomfortable for us to book with VRBO again.
