Everything was perfect! We took a trip for my graduation and stayed there. The staff was very friendly, the place was super clean, it was pet-friendly, and it had the perfect location. I would definitely stay there again

As soon as we walked through the door, we knew we were going to love our stay at The Highland House. This very updated house is not only conveniently located near a number of attractions but it is also bright, immaculate, welcoming and full of amenities. While we had minimal issues while there, Lindsay and Jeremy were quick to respond whenever we had a question or request. We definitely would stay at the Highland House in the future!Thank you Lindsay and Jeremy for being such fabulous hosts!

We loved staying at Highland House for three weeks. It's in the perfect location in the Eau Gallie neighborhood. So close to the water and less than 15 minutes to the beach. The house itself is so cute and comfortable. We loved the open space and the backyard was perfect for sitting out on nice days. Linzi, our host, communicated very promptly which is always a good sign for a VRBO rental. We can't wait to go back to Melbourne and we hopefully can stay at Highland House again. We loved it so much!!

Perfect weekend getaway

Beautiful and clean property. Host was responsive to messages and left great ideas for what to do in the area. Very walkable and lots of cool views and parks in the area to walk to.

Great location!

Property was very cute and as described. Very clean and perfect location, on a quiet street but still a minute walk to river, restaurants and art district. Beech is just a 5-minute drive. Check in was great, and overall, a very nice comfortable stay. Lindsay and Jeremy were great hosts and we will book their house again.

Nothing but Sunshine

The house was more beautiful than the pictures. The neighborhood was walkable for restaurants (recommend Pineapples and the pizza place that used to be a bank) and there was a park about a block away where we saw dolphins. Short drive to the beach and there’s even a dog beach! Convenient to so many amenities within a short distance. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it. The neighbors were also super nice and anytime I had a question it was answered quickly.

Great property and in the best location!

Highland house is a wonderful property. Very clean and spacious. It was the perfect size for 4 adults and a dog. The location was perfect. Walked to Grumpy’s Biscuits multiple mornings for breakfast and there were multiple good restaurants to walk to for dinner and lunch as well. Cute historic/artsy neighborhood with character and charm. The property manager was extremely easy and responsive when communicating with. Will definitely look to book Highland house again when we come back to Melbourne!! Very strong recommendation!

Amazing new and spotless home!

This house is totally new, super clean and updated! The house is even nicer than in the photos. The host is amazing, she was available for any questions and responds back quickly. The area has restaurants and shops within walking distance. Owner has extras in the home such as coffee filters, shampoo, conditioner, soap in the showers and Q tips, cotton balls, beach towels. I would highly recommend and we will be back! Thank you!

Great house in a Great neighborhood

We were super happy with this stay! Comfortable beds and lots of towels. My husband was able to "work" one early morning in a pretty, sunny room- a must for us to have lots of natural light. I had to keep track of my elderly Mom, just saying we had to sleep light in case she got up during the night. I'm unsure if anyone has said anything here, but there's a train about 5 blocks away. We heard the train horn 3 times between 3:15am - 3:45am. I think folks should know. I also think that our dog slept through it all... and maybe we slept through it other times. Just a heads-up. The kitchen was well-stocked. We were so grateful for that. There are tons of prime upgrades in the kitchen and bathrooms and the art brings a big smile factor at "hello" - loved it all! The neighborhood had more treats for us to explore than we had time. I had made a mental list of places before we arrived, but we ended up finding more neat things in walking distance (even Mom-walking distance)! So Great stay in a Great house with a Great host!
