Great place

Great house lots of privacy but plenty of room to entertain in main casita with Everybody. Had a few bugs and one of the Casitas had the odor of pesticide, which was evident the next morning there were about 20 dead cockroaches on the floor probably should’ve been taken care of a few days prior to our arrival that being said still great house no issues after that would rent house again

Excellent location!

Everything as listed, could have stocked more than 3 dishwasher pods for 6 days but they did deliver more quickly. We always take extra TP, soap and paper towels and we did need them. Lots of extra plates and silverware. Would have been nice to know upfront that there was no washer/dryer. Overall excellent house and service.

Excelente Stay!

Perfect beach house for a family of 10! Waking up and being walking distance to the Beach was very convenient. The house had everything we needed for our stay. The check in process was easy but didn’t like that we had to wait right at 3pm to get the keys. Some places let you do an early check in if the property is ready but this wasn’t the case. Will definitely recommend this property for a big family.

Amazing house , great for large families of 8 adults and 2-4 kids . Great views , right on the beach. Some complains I have were the check in process wasn’t clear in the instructions , you have to check in at the casago office in town , I thought there would be a lock box or something. Also, When entering the house it smelled of chemicals and had a couple dead roaches in one of the casitas. I assumed they had just sprayed for bugs . After a day or so the smell subsided and everything was perfect. Also I will say that for 8 adults and a 5 day stay there was not enough garbage bags and toilet paper for the stay , maybe they could provide more in the future? In my opinion this was all minor , over all I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice. 2 seperate casitas w own bathrooms, main house has master. Perfect patio for corn hole. Also has big shaded area on patio. Tons of sand dollars in front. Second time stayed. Enjoyed morning burritos and afternoon massages.

Really great and versatile property.

We had one heat-pump not working of the 3.. The maintenance crew came right out and fixed it. Very impressive service.. everything else was great and functional. Communication was excellent!

LOVELY HOME!

I have rented on Las Conchas, since 1987. If you are going to the beach….get BEACH FRONT! Worth every penny. Very roomy home, with nice enclosed courtyard. Access to the beach is perfect. Those who complain about “rocks” on the beach, obviously don’t understand the tide charts. Tide goes out, a few rocks appear….and NOT an issue at all. We had a slight plumbing issue, with the outside patio shower, and once notified, it was repaired the next day. I LOVE the CASAGO STAFF! Always on duty to answer your questions and offer advice. BEST RENTAL STAFF, I have ever rented from!

Amazing property with two separate (attached) casitas.

This is beautiful property, there is the main house with one master bedroom, a casita with two bedrooms/bathroom and a third casita with small sitting area, bedroom/bathroom and a second smaller bedroom with bunkbeds. The third casita has the AC in the sitting area and the bedrooms can get a bit hot. This home is ideal for privacy, out teens (4) were delighted to have their own space! It is only steps from the beach and it is equipped with two kayaks/life vests. The home came with toilet paper, paper towels and the trash bag that are on the holders, there isn't any extras. We called the office and we got them delivered within the hour but not enough for our remaining of our stay, we just purchased more from the store. Shampoo/conditioner isn't provided and you don't have access to washer/dryer. This home is located towards the entrance of Las Conchas, this part of the beach is rocky. Make sure you take WATER SHOES!!! We have stayed in several properties but they were more at the end of the Las Conchas and hadn't experienced rocks. If you have small children it shouldn't be an issue because when the tie is high in the morning the rocky section is far from the home, is is when the tide is low (afternoon) that you have to get across two sections of rocks. The rocks were a bummer for us since we (adults/teens) enjoy the beach in the afternoon.

Spring Break

We had a great time and the property is perfect for a small or big group with plenty of space to get away. The amenities were great also, dishes, silverware, all cooking supplies were more than adequate. We had an issues with the door handle that broke and they came out right award an fixed it. Highly recommend.

Comfortable and average/above average compared to other homes

Overall, we had a nice time and comfortable stay. Please note the following: Not able to contact by phone to talk, even after attempting multiple ways of dialing number. Direct TV not working (parents were really looking forward to watching TV as they are used to, daily) Smelly rooms - musty, old, chemical smells, and sewage smells in courtyard area Various lights were out completely, or light switches not working, so we had to move a couple light bulbs around. Therefore, it's a "darker" house in the evening/night when we wanted to sit in certain rooms or areas with light. They said they only provide one towel per guest, so we brought extra.... although there were enough towels in each bathroom, 2 per person. We didn't have washcloths though, so difficult to shower properly. Some areas and places had not been cleaned thoroughly, so we found crumbs, hair and dust/dirt. (In couches, chairs, and kitchen drawers) Broken/falling apart chairs inside and out One toilet broken for a day Drain in master clogged badly Overall value was not as great as we have experienced many times before with past trips to Las Conchas beachfront homes.

Wonderful stay, lovely beach, will come back

This property is an amazing place to stay, we weren’t sure how the separate casitas would feel but everyone liked the privacy and spent most of the time in the main house anyways. Looked like some parts of the house and the beach stairs had recently been updated and everything looked beautiful. Many lamps were missing light bulbs as well as on patio but other than that it was a wonderful stay. Kitchen is amazingly stocked with everything you could need during your stay and more. The section of the beach exposes so many mesmerizing tide pools during low tide and we were entertained and fascinated for hours each time. Will absolutely consider rebooking a trip here in the future.

Great time

Overall this is a great house for a medium size group. However, this wonderful house definitely needs some maintenance and better upkeep. Patio doors missing outside handles, no water pressure in kitchen faucet, bottom step onto the sand needs replaced (instead of broken cinder block). I have stayed in lots of VRBOs and never had one until now that lacked condiments and paper goods in kitchen, insufficient toilet paper, insufficient towels/wash cloths for number of people, light bulbs burned out in deck lights. In short, poor maintenance and upkeep.

Nice - But Know What You're Booking

It was a nice place! But it is not one house. There is a main house with the kitchen, living room, master bed and bath with BEAUTIFUL VIEWS!!!! Then you go out to the courtyard and have two other 'casitas'. One casita is basically a cave... no one wanted to stay in it but that's where 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom are so we had to make it work. The other casita had a living area with kitchenette, bedroom, bunkbed room and bathroom (no closet space!). This is probably an ideal set up for some people, but not for our group. We needed to be in one big house together. If we could have all stayed in the main house and not be separated it would have been a 10 out of 10 stay. GORGEOUS VIEWS from the main house!!!! No views anywhere else.

Mothers Day Weekend

It was my first time renting a house using VRBO. The process was simple and easy. Communication through Casago via email was quick. In person was another story. We arrived around 2pm and check in to the house was at 3. Waited a little bit so the gentlemen at the front desk could check me in. He took my picture to verify it was me, asked for a list of names of those in the party (not sure why that mattered) and told me the house was not yet ready to come back at 3:00. I got back at 3:20, and was given the gate house keys and was told the property manager would be at the house with the gate key. Once we entered Las Conchas I realized I was never given the section number to the house. I had to ask the guard at the entrance where Pura Vida was located all I had was “Camino a Las Conchas #48” as the address but if I didn’t have the section I would’ve been driving up and down. The guard told me the house was located in section 6 and gave me clear directions on how to get there. One thing I would recommend for Casago is to provide a map or more details on where the property is located. When we finally arrived at the house I tried using both sets of keys to open the gate of the house and neither worked. I called a number given to me at the front office if any emergency came up and they explained that the property manager forgot to leave the gate keys at the property and left and she would soon be back to the house to give us said keys. We waited about 15 mins she arrived and gave us the keys so we were finally able to open the gate and get into the house. Even though the whole check in process wasn’t as easy as we would’ve liked and there was lack of organization in some aspects, the house itself was gorgeous. A well stocked kitchen, nice patio with beautiful furniture, there’s even a kayak and life jackets which we enjoyed. Our neighbor came over to tour the property and loved it as well. Theres only one master bedroom with view of the ocean. The other bedrooms are separate from the main house. Perfect if you want extra privacy or if going with multiple families. My brother and I woke up with red bumps on our arms and legs so either mosquitos or bed bugs. The restroom sink for the bedroom I stayed in seemed plugged and could get looked at. The best part of the house is the huge patio which overlooks the beach. You will spend most of your time there I promise. Overall happy with the house and would stay there again or recommend to others.
