Enjoy sunsets West across the big water of beautiful Lake Sinclair! Our home offers 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths and den and great room! The kids can hang in a large den with TV, DVD player and many movies while the adults relax in the great room. The lake views, especially sunsets from our lovely private 2 slip boat house, dock and sandy beach are AMAZING! Enjoy a day on the lake swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing (tons of fish caught from the dock) or skiing. Kayaks and stand up paddleboards are available. Grill out in the evenings, watch the sun set and relax with smores around the firepit at night. Note the 5 bedrooms have 4 queen and 4 single beds, for 12 people in beds. Sofas are >6' and comfy, but not fold out. Air mattress in closet. Starlink allows reasonable internet, albeit with occasional short interuptions. If you have multiple people online there will be glitches and TV will not be reliable. By the lake the best nature show has osprey, herrons, kingfishers, turtles, fish jumping, beavers and bald eagles! Recent guests caught 9 coolers full of fish! Enjoy!

Large and comfortable home right on a beautiful lake. Hard to beat that! We'd come back for sure. Internet was not good enough for virtual meetings but good enough for streaming here and there; Not necessarily bad because it promotes disconnecting. Host was easy to communicate with and welcoming.

Our stay was great! This place has an amazing yard and dock. Easy access into the water for our kayaks and paddle boards. There are houses close to each other all up and down the lake, but we appreciated that this yard had a bit of privacy and tree coverage from the neighbors. House had everything we needed and then some; even stocked with snacks and sauces, cooking spray, spices, etc. We also appreciated the set up of the living room and kitchen- accommodating for our group of adults.

The men in my family went on a week fishing trip. The property has great access to the lake with lots parking for the boats.and great fishing looking forward to next year.

The house offered most everything that was advertised. The children and adults enjoyed the fishing. They caught plenty of fish.The beds were comfortable and clean.The tub in master needed the stopper replaced as it wouldn't hold water. Location was great for our group. I would definitely recommend this getaway for family time.

Great family getaway

We had a blast! The house is stocked with everything you need. There was plenty of space and beds for our party. Very clean. The dock was really nice, and there were plenty of lake toys. We would highly recommend.

Fantastic Property!

We had a wonderful time at this rental. It was clean, accommodating and exactly as advertised. More than enough space, very well provisioned and communication with the owners was seamless. So much wildlife in the area, over 30 different birds were recorded and over 20 deer around the property. We highly recommend this location!

Lakeside Retreat

Wonderful lakeside retreat. Well-stocked and homey with a great view. Eric was terrific with communication when we had questions or had any minor problems. Loved kayaking, enjoying the dock, and the porch/yard. Saw lots of deer on morning neighborhood walks and hiking at Rock Hawk nearby.

Perfect place!

I needed a place to have my daughter's sleep over birthday party & this rental was perfect!! Very clean, large open main room ideal for entertaining, plus an adorable bunk room the girls lost it over! We loved this place, we would definitely rent again & would recommend to anyone. The owner was very kind and help, even patient with me when I had lots of questions. Loved this perfect rental!!

Perfect weekend of old friends

A group of ten old friends gathered and rented this house for a weekend last month. Everything was just perfect, The location, numbers of beds and baths, they let us bring our dogs, everything is well stocked, its clean, just perfect. The hosts are so friendly and helpful that made everything easy. We are looking forward to scheduling another weekend here in the future.

The location of this property is great. It's close to popular spots on the lake, with convenient access to a nearby restaurant, marinas, and local activities. The dock and beach area were also good and offered a place to relax and enjoy the water. The views from the house are also enjoyable. That said, we felt the listing didn’t accurately reflect the current condition of the home. Some photos appear outdated and misleading. For example, the back deck no longer has the rocking chairs shown, and the overall condition of the deck and other areas of the home weren’t accurately portrayed. The master bedroom was shown in two different setups, which added to the confusion.While the home does have charm and potential, future guests would benefit from more current photos and a clearer representation of the space and condition of the home. Overall, we appreciated the location and outdoor setting. With listing updates and attention to detail, this property could offer a much more positive and transparent guest experience.

We got the “discounted” treatment

Our very first experience upon arrival was not a good one. We entered a hot house with the AC turned off. We then discovered 3 out of the 4 queen bedrooms were not made up. We had to wash the sheets and make the beds ourselves. I found this listing at an introductory rate, and we were made to feel like we didn’t deserve a completely cleaned and ready house. Other than this issue, every thing else was nice, clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there.

I just saw the egg and brownies smeared into our deck, the tinsel and "happy birthday" decorations left as trash on our beach, and the neighbors told us they rescued our float that your group allowed to drift away. If I could rate again I would give Overall: 3, Cleanliness: 2, House rules: 3 and Communication: 2

50th Birthday Celebration

We have rented several properties in Lake Sinclair and this one is the best. The property is spacious and well equipped with everything you could need. My husband and sons were able to catch several large catfish and several good sized bream. They even cooked some over the fire pit. One of my favorite things to do was to relax in the hammock swing on the back deck. We were able to use the kayaks, paddle board, oversized water mat float. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. They provided snacks and bubbly for hubby’s 50th birthday celebration. I have shared the property link with a couple of family members and friends. We will definitely be renting here again!

Everything we were looking for.

Our big family had nothing short of a great time and made tons of memories. I will start by saying the host Eric is on top of everything and very responsive. He started by contacting me a day before check in and giving me a run down on a couple of things and answering all my questions. I reached out to him a few times through out or stay with some questions and he picked up each time and replied to my messages fast. Now for the property it was better than expected. Listing truly does not do this place justice. It is beautiful and super clean. Very well stocked I must add and that isn’t something we’ve ran into in the past. It is remote so this was a huge bonus. We brought our boat and left it docked up during our stay. Plenty of parking. And the yard is huge with a little beach area we loved. Every grill you need if you like to grill out. I can go on and on. If you have this place as an option I suggest going with it. I honestly wish we would have stayed longer. Me and my big group had a blast and everyone couldn’t say enough about the place.

Great vacation home on the lake with family! Lots of wildlife too!

We had a very enjoyable stay! We had 14 people, and the way the house is set up is perfect! On one side is the primary BR w/queen bed & it's own BA, a secondary BR w/queen bed, & a full BA. Then on the other end are 3 more BR's(2 w/queen beds & 1 with 2 twin bunkbeds for 4 people), a full BA & a den area. Perfect for the kids to play in! There is plenty of room in the main area of the house, 3 full couches, dining room table that seats 8, & a nice sized kitchen with a walk-in pantry area with an extra refrigerator! That came in handy since the nearest grocery store is about 45 minutes away, so we brought a bunch of food with us. There is a new convenience store right outside the neighborhood to the right, but we didn't go inside.There is plenty of parking, and a pull around driveway which made it really easy to get the boat in and out without having to move all the cars. The backyard is great! Easy walk down to the dock! We have a center console boat with an awning, so we couldn't park in the slips. It did get rough on the weekend with our boat tied up to the dock, 2 of the ropes broke, thank goodness we were there when it happened!The internet/wifi is spotty. We found the best places for reception are at the dock & on the back porch. They just added an outdoor shower around the side of the home. Perfect for kids & dog!They do have plenty of games, 2 paddleboards, 2 kayaks, & pickleball in the boat launch area. Gas dock at Crooked Creek Marina only open Fri-Sun. FYI!

Good with the potential for greatness

This charming lakehouse boasts beautiful decor and spacious common areas—a cozy living room, an open dining room, a well-equipped kitchen, and a relaxing porch with a great view. The house is impeccably clean and well-maintained, with plenty of linens, blankets, and towels for lake use. The lake is easily accessible, and guests can enjoy the kayaks provided. The two refrigerators are ideal for storing food for a large group when the nearest store is a bit of a drive (20 to 30 minutes). Also because of its remoteness, the wi-fi is not great but nature is what you'd be there for anyway. The listing contained a few mistakes, but the Owner issued a refund for one of them. The listing does show sofa beds, but they are just couches in the living room — the house realistically sleeps twelve with two per room plus a bunk room for four. The worst part was arriving at a hot house. It was 87-degrees inside on a 95-degree day, and it took a while to figure out the smart thermostat and cool the house off. The Owner, Molly, was easily reached, very responsive, and lovely to communicate with even though she doesn't usually handle property management. Overall, the house was good, but it has the potential to be great. With a few adjustments, it could be a perfect vacation spot for the next guests!
