The Space:

The condo includes a chef’s kitchen equipped with a large dining table that seats six. The spacious living room boasts a comfy couch and a smart TV for your entertainment. Large glass sliders open to an expansive veranda, complete with dining for four and additional comfortable seating, perfect for enjoying the stunning ocean views.



The master bedroom features a king-sized bed and an impressive en-suite bathroom with a rain shower and a separate bathtub for long, relaxing soaks. It also provides access to the terrace, offering more beautiful ocean views. The second bedroom is spacious and includes two full-sized beds, making it perfect for families or friends.



Luxury Linens and bedding, towels, soaps, and air conditioning are provided, offering all the essentials for a comfortable stay.

Beautiful place to stay with an incredible view of the ocean. We were very sorry to leave at the end of our visit and would absolutely come back. Just a short drive to the beach (although it was very steep, and we were glad to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle). There is new construction going on nearby, but other buildings in the complex appear far more affected - our view was essentially unobstructed. The rental management company was responsive when we needed them. Upon arrival, the crib and high chair we had requested were not in the unit and were not able to be delivered before bedtime, but they were brought the next day. There was also a small wildfire near the condo one evening - the management company kept in touch with us to ensure everything and everyone was ok.

The condo space was nice and accurate based on the posting. Access to the pool was great and the staff around the facility were wonderful. Unfortunately, however, the posting was not accurate with respect to the location. The location is very private and remote. It is not walking distance to anything, a vehicle is required. The posting states that the beach is a 1 minute walk, this is not true. It would take at least 30 minutes to walk to a beach and the walk is over steep inclines and declines. Also, there is construction in the area. When looking outside the beautiful deck, the is a big tower crane and construction site. Although you can still enjoy an ocean view, the crane and the construction noise have significant impacts. The construction noise begins around 6 am and is loud enough to be heard inside the condo. Approximately 4 weeks before our check in, the host had advised that there was a crane working in the area. When asked if the crane would impact our view and if there would be loud construction noise, the host said no. This was not true and had significant impact on us being able to enjoy and relax on the outside deck and pool. Overall I would not recommend staying here if you want easy access to the beach or town or if you would be bothered by construction noise and a crane impacting the ocean view. The condo itself was a nice layout.

Beautiful Property

Check-in was a breeze and David was informative and willing to help with any questions. The condo was in great condition and well stocked with cooking equipment, including plates, silverware, and cutlery. Pots and pans were in excellent shape and they have a washer/dryer for your convenience. The patio has a wonderful ocean view and a propane grill. The Master bathroom shower was awesome and very spacious.

Slice of paradise

We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. Breathtaking views. Spacious 2 bedroom unit. Perfect for families. Good proximity to restaurants and beaches but having a car is a must. The pool was too cold to swim in because it is in the shade and not heated. We lost water for 3 hours but the management company was very responsive. Highly recommend this gem.

The condo was very nice. The water pressure in the 2 secondary bathroom showers was very low so I called Byron, the property manager, to let him know. He got back to me within an hour and had someone there to fix the problem the next day. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean and neat. The views from every room are breathtaking. We loved hanging out in the pool, which is only a few steps away, watching the numerous types of birds and taking in the amazing ocean views. Covered parking and first floor location are also pluses. Would definitely stay here again.

Just amazing

We stayed a week (9/30-10/7/23). The condo is large, beautiful, well decorated, well maintained, and very well decorated. The view of the Gulf of Papagayo is just stunning. We watched many beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the large and comfortable patio. Not to mention several birds and also howler monkeys in nearby trees. It was amazing. The kitchen was well equipped, and basic supplies (dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, toilet paper) were all supplied, and not just one pod/load/roll but more than enough for 2 people for a week. The number of bath linens and pool towels provided were more than enough and very good quality. The drive to/from the nearby town of Coco to visit the nearest restaurants and supermarkets is really the only drawback to this condo in my opinion. While completely passable it’s a 20-minute drive with some rather bumpy spots. Don’t be afraid of the drive - I just found it longer and rougher than I would have wanted. And while we did have a minor maintenance issue (the television in the living room had a speaker problem and really wasn’t usable), the Krain property manager came out to see the issue and contacted the condo owner, who graciously had the television replaced the next day. Really top notch response by the management and owner - and much appreciated since it was (American) football season! The condo, supplies, equipment, and views were all top-notch. We would gladly stay again.

L’endroit est très beau et très propre. La vue est sublime. Mais la piscine était plutôt froide et on a dû s’absenter pour qu’ils puissent faire des visiter des acheteurs potentiels.

The apartment was clean and had nice views of the bay. The location, however was not as advertised. The listing said 1 min walk to Bahia Pez Vela Beach, and the map showed it as such. The real location was a 20 minute walk down a very steep road to that location. This advertising was simply false. We did not receive a welcome message that described how to get into the apartment, and once we did figure this out by asking the security guard for a key, there was no welcome message indicating how to get onto wifi. We had to drive all the way back down to Ocotal to get a cell signal to ask about wifi password. Finally, the listing indicated that the second bedroom had two double beds. Instead, it had two single (twin) beds.

Amazing view!

This condo was even better in person than it looked in the photos. The road up is really steep but we were fine in our little two wheel drive vehicle (it’s paved.) But once you’re up there, it’s worth it for the view! The space is nice and open, well decorated, the kitchen has everything you could need to cook with, washer and dryer in the unit were a bonus. The pool was clean and we always had it to ourselves. Ocotal beach is only a seven minute drive down the hill and Father Roosters has a fun vibe and the food is good. We loved sunsets on the beach but also up on porch with a margarita! It’s true that nothing is walkable and to leave the property you need to drive, but we felt like it was worth it for the peace and quiet and the view. We almost never go back to the same place for vacation, but we’d come back and stay in the same place it was so great!

Exquisite Property and View!!!

This property is 5 star. Artistic and elegant decor--better than the photos. Spacious. We spent the entire stay on the large balcony enjoying the view which changed from sunrise to sun down. The pool was also nice. You definitely need a car and to come prepared with your own food. Pizza wouldn't deliver there--too far--and no stores nearby. There's a grill on the balcony. Father Rooster restaurant is close by and decent and on the beach. We enjoyed the view so much we skipped the beach this time. Only had two nights but we loved it.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice location but a bit hard to find on the first try. The complex is nice but you can tell it's on it's way out! Sadly, such a nice spot but the advance planning was flawed. Half the complex never materialized . Maria was great! Housekeeping was NOT GOOD!...the comforter on the bed was blood stained and left there. Thankfully, Maria changed it out. Overall for the value a nice place to stay. Lastly, advertised as a top notch kitchen it lacked many supplies to cook with.
