El complejo de condominios de Bonita Beach es una comunidad cerrada construida alrededor de un patio ajardinado en el extremo norte de Little Hickory Island. Las instalaciones para el disfrute de sus vacaciones incluyen 2 canchas de tenis, una gran piscina climatizada, frente a la playa del Golfo de México, muelle de pesca, tenis, tejo y una variedad de áreas recreativas que incluyen un área de picnic. Nuestro condominio es una hermosa unidad de dos dormitorios y dos baños en el sexto piso con un patio con mosquitero en el frente, un balcón en la parte posterior de los dos dormitorios con vistas a la bahía trasera o al patio y al océano. La unidad está totalmente amueblada con una cama king-size en el dormitorio principal y dos camas matrimoniales en el segundo dormitorio. Los pisos de baldosas mejorados junto con el aire central, el calor y los ventiladores de techo hacen de este un lugar de consuelo. Si recibe demasiado sol, hay televisores de pantalla plana en cada habitación y sala de estar, así como reproductores de DVD y Roku. La cocina está completa para su comodidad, equipada con microondas, cafetera, licuadora y los principales electrodomésticos que puede esperar con un condominio de esta distinción. Se proporcionan sábanas, almohadas y artículos de primera necesidad y estarán frescos a su llegada. También se proporcionan una lavadora y secadora. Los artículos de playa también están disponibles, como mantas, toallas, sombrillas, refrigeradores y sillas de playa.

La conveniencia de la ubicación es excelente, justo al lado de la autopista U. S 41 y a minutos de la I-75, con fácil acceso al aeropuerto regional Southwest de Fort Myers. En temporada, desde Navidad hasta Pascua, el clima debería ser muy agradable. Las temperaturas oscilan en ese momento de 70-85 grados y generalmente hay una brisa gloriosa en el Golfo de México.

Misleading photos and listing content

1. Misleading Listing: Falsified Photos and Inaccurate DescriptionBoth the photos and content of the listing were grossly misleading. These are not opinions but facts supported by the conditions I encountered:The photos used in the listing were clearly taken before the hurricane, showing a lush, green, and well-maintained complex. The actual property is dominated by construction equipment, dust, and heavy renovation work.The description of the lanai as a relaxing space to enjoy breakfast or sunsets was also grossly inaccurate. The lanai directly faces the main courtyard, which is now a noisy construction zone. It is enclosed by a mesh screen and constantly covered in cement dust, making it completely unusable. The dust upon our arrival was about an inch thick, further proving the lack of care and preparation for hosting guests.2. Failure to Timely Disclose Full Construction Zone.While Roger mentioned the pool being under construction in his communication, he completely omitted the critical detail that the entire complex is an active construction zone, details that he burried under Terms and Conditions, sent to me 3 days before our arrival, the day after Christmas.Staimed bed sheets and dirty pillow cases.Too many things to mention. Our condo which is located in Bonita Springs, Florida was hit by Hurricane Ian in 2022 and again by several smaller storms the summer of 2024. Reconstruction and repairs have been ongoing and are nearing completion. This being the case the condo board and the city of Bonita Springs granted a certificate of occupancy for owners and guests this past Fall. This renter made a booking request in November 2024 for the week of 12/23/24. Before accepting this request we advised the interested party of the situation pointing out the construction and work that was still ongoing as well as the fact that work on the pool might not be completed by their arrival date. In addition the renter signed a waiver acknowledging and accepting the fact of lack of access to certain common areas as well as the ongoing work being done in various areas of the condo complex. The day following this renter’s arrival we received a communication from them complaining that the condo unit was not cleaned properly and a sliding patio screen was not secured properly. We immediately called the cleaning service which we have been using for over 15 years and were told the unit was thoroughly cleaned, sheets and towels washed, beds made, etc the morning of the day of the renters arrival. We also contacted our handyman to arrange to reset sliding screen patio door. We did offer additional monetary compensation for any inconvenience. Despite this the renter contacted us again and relayed the fact that they were still unhappy with the situation. We told the renter that if they wish to leave early we would prorate the rent to cover just the nights stayed and refund the balance. The renter decided to stay. At any point prior to arrival this renter could have canceled and received a full refund. In addition we also offered to prorate the rent should this renter wish to leave early. We have owned, rented, and managed this condo for over thirty years and consistently have had happy renters, many of which return year after year. Our reviews our a testament to that. We regret that this renter was unhappy but we feel we made every attempt to accommodate this renter.

Perfect Vacation!

We had a perfectly lovely time at the Bonita Beach Club. The condo we rented was everything we hoped it would be. The condo was a perfect size for us and the location was perfect as well. The beach was just steps away. The sunsets from the balcony and lanai were gorgeous. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed for the beach. It was great to have the beach tote buggy that we were able use to carry the chairs and umbrella. We loved that we also had access to the exercise room. Roger and his son Matthew were very accommodating. We would definitely stay at this condo again. Thank you for the perfect vacation!

Wonderful

This property was incredible. It's at the far end of Hickory Island so it's very quiet being far away from the public access beaches. While some places describe being "easy access" to a beach or a "short walk", this truly is. Walk out the door and the beach is right there. The unit was clean and comfortable, and the owner had a good collection of beach chairs, towels and a few toys. My wife and I got exactly what we were hoping for, a quiet relaxing week where some days we did nothing but grab the chairs and towels and hang out on the beach.

Beautiful Bonita beach

We enjoyed the Bonita beach club. The place was easy to get around and the condo had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The owner was in contact with us if we needed anything. The beach was so quiet and peaceful with beautiful sunset views every evening. Loved it

This renter called us several days into their stay to tell us that the unit was not clean enoiugh when they arrived and there was a slow leak coming from AC hose.....this is a new air conditioning system only put in 2 weeks prior to the renters arrival....we immediately called the installers and they came out the next day and tightened a hose thereby fixing the leak....as for the other item we called the cleaning service and were told that the renters were already in the unit when the cleaner arrived (1130am) despite the fact that the rental agreement signed by the renter states check in is after 200pm....renter told cleaner not to bother that they would clean unit.

Beach life

Location was great. Fishing and swimming was terrific. The A/C and the coffee make were not working. Every door in the condo would not close properly. The owner should have a handy man fix all of the above before renting out . I excepted the imperfections because this was the location I wanted. The vacation was great.

we regret the issues encountered by this renter.....this is the first renter we have had in several months because of the Covid situation..we did have the unit cleaned and checked out several days prior to renters arrival and NO issues were reported.........however the these issues could have been addressed and resolved within 24 hours if renter had just notified us....we are having service company check out the air conditioning and will replace coffee maker if need be....our handyman will check on the doors.

Great beach, relaxing area, family friendly.

This condo has a great location with a nice view overlooking the ocean and the pool. The covered outdoor patio is a nice place to eat breakfast. This area of Florida is much more relaxed than other more populous areas. We saw dolphins right from the beach almost every day. The condo sleeps six quite comfortably. Plenty of places to visit nearby as well such as the Naples Zoo and many beaches and parks.

The “ other” white ground cover!

This is our second year staying at Rogers’ condo at Bonita Beach Club on Bonita Beach! Imagine everyday asking “ pool or beach today?” You can watch the beautiful pool and beach from the lanai on the 6 th floor as well as the gorgeous sunsets in the evenings! Roger has all the pool and beach items you might need like umbrella, chairs, noodles, sand toys. The 2 bedroom , 2 bath condo is very comfortable. The kitchen contains all the cooking utensils you might need if you want to cook! Coconut Jack’s, The Fish House, and Doc’s are just down the road. Lovers Key State Park is 5 miles away North, and Bonita Beach City Park is just South. Ft. Myers Beach is a quick 15 mins. North. Bonita Boat Rental is across the street if you’d like to pontoon your afternoon away in the inter coastal. We look forward to next year! Don and Mindy C. Indiana.

Bonita Beach Club is a beautiful property with a sparkling pool and white shell beach.

The condo overlooks the gulf and pool. The gulf can be watched on the large lanai. Inside is a comfortable 2. Bedroom 2 Bath home for vacation. Totally enjoyed being on Bonita beach area Lots of activities up and down the street. Boat rental is 3 blocks away. Great seafood restaurant 2 blocks away. Fishing across the street. Great area to spend time in a comfortable condo.

Wonderful beach vacation for my family

We stayed in Roger's unit. It's well maintained with full kitchen, large enough for our family with 3 kids. Rogers was responsive to all our inquiries. Payments, checking in, check out was smooth. The property had an excellent location, nice pool, literally on the beach, beautiful sand. 10 mins drive to the restaurants, shops, groceries. We will for sure stay there again for our future Bonita Beach trips.

We had a wonderful time at this condo! It is located near my favorite area of Hickory island, an area with so much charater beyond just the beautiful beach. To be able to access that area quickly and easily was wonderful. Because the room is on the sixth floor, the view is fantastic. I hope to make this trip an annual tradition. To tell the truth, I was a little skeptical before we got there that it would be as described - it is. We were extremely pleased! I was also pleased to get our full refund, and in a timely manner.

Lovely Condo

We have stayed in this condo for the past 8 years. We absolutely love being here. The condo is clean and the décor is beautiful. Flat screen TVs, WiFi and the views cannot be surpassed. The owner is very accommodating and we hope there will be many more stays in our future.

The condo and premises are lovely!! The pool is gorgeous!! We loved being so close to the Gulf!! Everything was beyond clean and well maintained. The owner was always acc.essible. We loved the local restaurants. We visited Sanibal Island and Naples too!! Shopping is great!! Hope to return soon!!!

Wonderful Stay

We just got back from the condo and had a wonderful experience. The condo was well maintained and clean and exactly as described. The complex has a beautiful beach and we enjoyed sunsets on the patio every night. Owner promptly returned security deposit after our stay. We look forward to going back and would recommend to others.

I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY

Unit is professionally cleaned after each renter...after 13 years of renting this is the first comment of this sort....as for security refund the rent and security were paid via paypal...$40 in fees were taken out of the agreed upon rent which was also stated in a rental agreement signed by renter....this $40 was taken out of the security to make up the deficit.....balance of security ($160 out of $200 held) was paid 2 weeks after departure.

Deposit not refunded after a full year!

The place is decent, and we had a nice stay for 2 different years. However, the owner failed to return the security deposit when he should have. I contacted him by email on several occasions, and still nothing. Very disappointed!!!

Refund of deposit was delayed because of computer crashing and loss of info but was eventually returned once info was retrieved....
