This charming adobe casita is within walking distance to town. The 10,000 sq foot lot is very private, with lush desert landscaping. Enjoy a shady spot on the front patio, sit on the side patio and enjoy the views of the mountains or sit out back by the fire pit for some peace and tranquility. Remodeled through out, while leaving the funky charm, uniqueness & character for your enjoyment. Happy animal art throughout will make you smile!

“The Owner of this property will provide you with pertinent safety information, explain your responsibilities under the Fountain Hills Town Code, and expect you to certify your compliance therewith”.

You must not use this property for any nonresidential or other prohibited activity or use, as defined in Fountain Hills Town Code Section 8-6-5. Any renter who causes, permits, facilitates, aides, or abets such prohibited use of this property shall be subject to a civil infraction carrying a mandatory penalty of a minimum of $500.00, in addition to any other penalties which the Town may impose.

This fun and charming home was a great little get away. The inside of this comfy home was cute and quirky in the best way!! We also enjoyed sitting outside in the little sitting area by the front door. We also were outside in the middle of the night where a Javelina huffed and grunted at my friend!!!

We would stay here again. The home has an interesting layout but it works. It clean and has everything you may need. The location is perfect.

Make sure you read the description and that the place meets your needs. For instance, I only realized upon arrival that parking is in a small uncovered south facing dirt patch, which made for some interesting first few minutes in the car during the 105 degree days this March. The furnishings are unique to say the least including a table with a border made of real barbed wire. That was fun to brush up against in the middle of the night. The road in front appears to be some kind of raceway so with no sidewalks I'd suggest levitation. Altogether I would avoid if you have young children. And only visit during the local period of reasonable weather (currently the first three weeks of January, although this may be slashed in coming years). Otherwise, five stars.

I'm sorry that you did not read the description of my place closely enough but I did state that there is no garage and a circular driveway for parking only. And yes it is unseasonably hot everywhere this year; certainly cannot control the weather. The barbed wire coffee table has the wire underneath a glass table top, so you would have to work pretty hard to brush up underneath that at night.

Extraordinary home with a cool desert vibe

We loved this perfectly unique place with all the amenities. The architecture of this adobe home and the colorful decor was pleasing, comfortable and peaceful. Close to groceries, dining and easy access to the Scottsdale area. We arrived on Halloween, so the neighbors were out and very friendly! We will definitely return next time we visit this area...

Fountain Hills Casita

My husband and I stayed at Linda’s casita in Fountain Hills. The home was immaculate and very comfortable, with all the amenities you could want! The location was perfect for our agenda. We did many superb desert hikes, ate in the wonderful restaurants, and enjoyed the community. We especially loved the outdoor fire pit. The weather was a bit cool, so it enabled us to be outdoors and enjoy the sunrises and sunsets! Communication and check in, check out were great! We would love to stay here again!

Cozy & Charming

We enjoyed our stay in this home. It has such a fun personality with its interesting layout and colorful artwork. We found everything necessary for a comfortable stay. As well, being close to uptown Fountain Hills was perfect. The uptown area offers many shops and restaurants, a scenic hiking trail and a lovely park. The park is home to the famous fountain that on the hour, seems to reach for the sky. It’s backdrop of majestic mountains and cerulean sky make for a stunning sight.

Two sisters hiking and exploring AZ

This location in Fountain Hills was all we could hope for. The hikes surrounding it, the quick trip (25 minutes) to the Phoenix Farmers market, Whole Foods, Scottsdale was so easy. An easy drive to Payson (1 hour) and an easy exit to Sedona (2.5 hours) made for a great day trip. The area and house are beautiful- so quiet with no light pollution to steal the stars. Coffee in the morning in the backyard is lively with birds and bunnies and wine on the side patio provides a great place to view the sunset. I would absolutely stay here again. The house has a great south western feel, is bright, comfortable and equipped with all we needed.

Very nice

This was a very good property. We enjoyed our time there. The second bedroom did not have a wall that extended all the way to the ceiling so we had to be careful about noise and light until the person using the bedroom woke up. I did not catch on to the number of steps to the front door. It was a walkway made of pavers and nothing to hold on to…only an issue for people with mobility issues (we have that problem). We also tried to open the back door located in the second bedroom and couldn’t get it open. In case of an emergency, this could be a problem. The two outdoor seating areas in the front of the home were lovely.

I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. I’m sorry you didn’t read the description closer, but I disclosed that the stairs aren’t great for mobility issues and that the 2nd bedroom was open to the living room. There is also ingress/egress windows in case of emergency when the door gets sticky which it sometimes does due to settlement issues.

Beautiful home- perfect for relaxing at! Located close to everything in Fountain Hills and Scottsdale. Wonderful scenery. The home was immaculate and had everything I needed. I got in late at night and a light on the roadside address would help to find the place. Lock system on the house very secure! I hope to get back.
