Great location, plenty of beach at high tide. Condo was very clean and conveniently located near restaurants and the boardwalk. The ocean view was wonderful!

Excellent stay and location

2nd floor. Had everything you need. Great view and close to beach. Had all the kitchen amenities you needed. The communication from the property management was outstanding—very easy check in and answered questions before we even had them.

Perfect Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay and have even booked it again. The location is spot on for the beach and being on the second floor we were able to see the kids on the beach. It’s also within walking distance to the boardwalk and restaurants. We cooked meals most nights and there were plenty of items in the cabinets to do that. Foodlion is also very close by. The main road wasn’t load at night and we had no issues with parking. It was also a great location for the Fourth of July with all the fireworks. We also used the “fun” items in the closet like games and folding chairs. We even left some of our own for other guests. My only suggestions to the owner would be to look into an internet extender as we frequently didn’t have internet on the porch and sometimes the living room. Also the sofa could use a good steam clean as we used a sheet on it the entire time because we felt it was cleaner that way. The kitchen chairs could use a back cushion and one needed repair. We sat there a lot for dinners and puzzles. All in all we had a blast and can’t wait to come back next year. Attached our view from the porch!

Great location…. But!

The place needed serious updating on just about every level. I realize it was the end of the season but every aspect of the interior needs an either a full replacement, repair or TLC.

Nice place

It was a lovely location and clean when we arrived. Master bed was below expectations when it comes to noisy frame and mattress definitely needs an upgrade. Sea side balcony door was hard to open but easy to close. All the housewares that were provided definitely fill all needs. We still love the place just recommending the bed and door get addressed. Batteries died on the keypad on one of our last days but the after hours were very quick to have someone there within the hour or 2. Definitely recommend this property and the management team that were quick, polite, and knowledgeable. One side note is that the wifi needs an uprgrade on range so that you can use the wifi in the living room and sea side balcony.

Vacation

The area and view were a win for this property. Being able to walk out your door to the beach is a plus. My only suggestions would be to make some additional upgrades. The kitchen had been updated and looked nice. However, the couch in the living room was very broken down, very uncomfortable and not sufficient as a pull out for someone to sleep. The main shower is very small and had little water pressure and the doors would not lock or stay shut. The master shower had a door replaced with a mirror and therefore it was very dark. Paint peeling on the bathroom cabinets and doors were an eyesore. Bed linens are outdated and appeared stained in places. It could use a deep clean as the place smelled as if it had been shut up for a long period of time. Overall, it was a decent place to stay as we did not have plans to spend a lot of time in the unit.

Your night stay for Jeep Jam

The property was decent. Nothing extravagant but served the purpose. Could definitely use some updates as the smaller bedroom has an 18” 1990’s TV in it. My grown daughter (29) laughed at the comforter because she had the same comforter when she was 10. So, definitely could use some minor decor updates. Nice location. Nice view of the ocean. Easy check in/check out.

Great Place!

Seldom dies a property match EXACTLY what is listed! This one does! Clean, two bedrooms with two bathrooms that's on the beach. The view is exactly as in the pictures. The walk tk the beach sand is about 3 mins. The shared walkway over the sand, though, is not ADA compliant and could use some updating.

A place to stay but not much more than that. Beds and couch are dilapidated. Large hole patched in the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. Had two cockroaches during the stay.

Short review

The day before we left for our ocean front condo, we were informed that the property next door to our condo had a water leak that effected our condo and we had to find another location to stay. The place that we reload located to was not ocean front and didn't allow for a short walk to the beach for 2 younger children and a handicapped mother in law. The location we had to stay at was a wonderful, clean and nice place. I just didn't allow for easy access to the beach for our family.

Would do again

Overall very good. Would like see a couple of upgrades, living room set and 2nd bedroom TV. Everything else was very clean, organized, comfortable and peaceful. Customer service and check-in were outstanding.

Beautiful view, great location, parking for 2nd car

Of the beachfront units we looked at, we decided on W&M because they offered parking for a 2nd vehicle across the street. The view was TREMENDOUS with the porch big enough for a table and chairs, good for meals or just hanging out.. The beach near the unit is wonderful and we took lots of long walks on the beach. October was a bit too chilly for me to swim! We enjoyed the restaurants nearby and walked to them several times. A SeaWitch shirt had to come home with me! The unit interior was great with plenty of room and privacy for the 4 of us. I think the kitchen has all you could want to prepare meals. Our main focus was COFFEE and cold drinks, as we ate out a lot. Grocery stores are within a short drive and there's plenty of touristy stuff to do: Ft Fisher park, breweries, a vibrant historic district downtown, hiking and more. The unit was super clean and I appreciated the way they bundled the fresh linens. The only item I really needed and not supplied was a bit of liquid dish soap, which I always bring with me for a rental.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time renting in North Carolina.the property was as discribed. Make sure to bring anything you want as spices,coffee,extra toilet paper etc, beach chairs. The unit can use some TLC many sloppy paint drips and paint needs to be updated in the hallway. The cooking pans are in sad shape. We had a couple of maintenance issues and mainteance was there within a half hour and fixed it. Very good service. It would be nice to have the higher type chairs on the patio to view over the railing, the chairs are cheap plastic. Overall the Condo was good the sunrises were great and the view is great. Everyone we inteacted with in the area was great. We would rent again if we go back to Carolina Beach.

And please buy some new pots and pans, the teflon 10 inch skillet is dangerous to use as it is flaking. "PFOA is a risk factor for health conditions like chronic kidney disease, liver disease, thyroid disorders, testicular cancers, low birth weight, and infertility. Most manufacturers assumed that PFOA burns off during the process of manufacture, but traces of PFOA were found in some Teflon-coated cookware."Also, The toilet paper holder was almost falling off the wall. And we saw a couple of roaches and got two spider bites from the street side bedroom. Other than that we had a great time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Needing time to rest, relax, recharge and spend time with family, I found this to be a perfect spot. I was a little concerned with the mixed reviews when I booked it, but would not hesitate to book it again. Honestly, I sometimes wonder what people are looking for in a vacation rental. If a not perfect paint job on a bathroom vanity, something other than granite countertops, or a little rust on the frame of an oceanfront metal patio table are going to ruin your vacation, then don't stay here. Overall the unit is clean, bright, nicely decorated, and well kept, and for a beachfront unit, the price was great. The location and view are hard to beat. Parking is more than adequate. Bryant Real Estate was super helpful and easy to work with. Very happy with our stay.

Could have done better for the price

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Given the pictures and the price, I was expecting a whole lot better than what I walked into. 700 dollars is way too mich for this place. I wonder where the 200 dollars for the cleaning goes be ause it doesn't look like they are doing mich cleaning. The reviews from September last year mention issues that still exist so no one has fixed the door off the track. I was disappointed. I wouldn't mind paying 450 dollars to stay there for the weekend but overall I could have found a cleaner place with much better accommodations for the same price I paid to stay at this out dated, dirty condo. I normally wouldn't mind sparing some comforts to save money, but I spent a good chunk of money to stay here and I don't feel it was a good investment.
