Turn rooms over slower/busy season is no excuse for this neglect

The property manager was somewhat unhelpful.
The vacation rental was very dirty.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.

We would stay at the Moorings again(never on a 1st floor) but not in rm 1141 due to its lack of care and cleanliness. This condo owner should come check keep up with their property. Carpet stains throughout: large obvious vomit stains next to master bed,spotty VERY stained drapes especially living room, all room carpets pretty much had noticeable stains throughout, sofas too. Rusty large utensils/Knives, not safe to use, molded (smelly)rusty dishwasher. Stained drapery and broken dirty pulls. Hallway BTHRM ceiling flaking, peeling paint-and drippy faucets Both bedrooms have such old, used ( I'm betting original outlets so old they cant hold plugs anymore, which is dangerous.Please clean and update this room so other guests don't have to stay how we stayed with so many issues. As more issues revealed themselves we made a list and gave to office and left a day early BECAUSE our upstairs folks would have robbed us of a good sleep again. Be aware that everything your upstairs neighbors do you will hear.This kept my kids and I up until 2 which affected our day big time.Every step they take, everytime they sit on furniture, every drawer they use, it was non-stop. Also multiple days we could find 1 beach chair, umbrella or beach spot nearby, so we had to adjust how we went to the beach. Bummer people hoard the chairs like the rules say not to. Other paying guests miss out. This is written in multiple places and told to guests directly upon check in, but I think me and my family were the only ones who followed the property rules and are courteous about these things.Moorings ground were beautiful and beach as ,I let the office know these things and I got a nice apology from one person there, but nobody else has contacted me or seems to care about our unique experience. Disappointed in management for not caring to call. For thousands of dollars, we expected a different outcome from all this.
