Co-host went out as soon as she heard from you and lit the pilot to the heater which was out. When realizing that the boiler was not kicking on she called me and we called a plumber who could not get out until Monday morning. She then started all 3 gas fireplaces for you and updated you on the situation and asked if you needed anything else. She also followed up with you later that evening to make sure you were comfortable. Monday morning I called you several times to let you know that plumber and our co-host were on their way with no answer so I allowed entry to home. We were told the boiler system went out and needed to be completely replaced and that they could not get one in until Dec 30th. I personally tried calling you again to explain the situation myself with no answer. Co-host stated that she did get ahold of you later in the day and that you said you all were fine with just the fireplaces and that "the house got so toasty with the fireplaces that you even had to turn them off." Had you stated how "uncomfortable" you were at that point, she would have brought you the space heaters for the 2 rooms without fireplaces and we would have gladly offered or been open to other solutions such as moving you to a different nearby home free of charge. It is extremely unfortunate that our heating system went out during your stay however this was something beyond our control that we did try to rectify immediately upon finding out. I had the propane company go out and top off the tank to make sure that you all had plenty of propane to keep the fireplaces running with no interuption. I reached out to let you know this as well with no repsonse. We do everything in our power to make our guests comfortable and happy. In the future, when renting a property, if you are unhappy or have concerns please voice them during your stay and not after you've checked out.
