River Oasis sets on the bank of the beautiful Chetco River. This high home is beautiful and ready for you to come and enjoy. Bring your golf clubs, home is located with 2 miles to Salmon Run Gold Course, bring your fishing pole, king salmon and steelhead splashing out front. The jacuzzi on the deck and a glass of wine is a perfect way to unwind after the day.

Beautiful property. The house is very clean and well stocked. The deck and hot tub were perfect. It had everything we needed for our toddler. If you’re traveling with young children the room upstairs was easy to baby proof with the addition of a baby gate at the stairs. The downstairs room would have been easy as well.The way down to the river is pretty steep for kids but there’s a nice area to hang out by or fish from that’s perfect for adults.The host is very responsive and gave good recommendations. We would definitely recommend and would stay again if we’re in the area.

We loved our stay at Daryn's home. It was so comfortable and cozy. This house boasted all the amenities you would need for your stay. The large porch was amazing for morning coffee all the way through evening activities. The hot tub was a great perk! We even utilized the outdoor shower just for the experience. There is not much sound barrier between upstairs and downstairs, so every footstep and creak of the floor can be heard in the downstairs bedroom. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning. Overall we LOVED our stay and highly recommend!

Magical! Amazing! One of the top most relaxing vacations we have had, like ever. That huge deck and hot tub view was just stunning. The pictures are amazing, but somehow it is even better in person. We just loved our time and the only issue was that we had to leave and wished we had stayed at least one more day. The stairs are a little precarious and the walk down to the water a little steep, but doable. My kids loved floating on our inner tubes and fishing. Just bring all the supplies then just don’t leave, there is plenty to do right here at this lovely house. I should mention the supplies and extra thought to making your stay here is priceless. I mean you don’t even need to bring coffee!! And the bathroom is completely stocked, you will need nothing. Can’t wait to be back!

Our family stayed here for a last-minute spring break trip to Brookings. The home and property were definitely the best! Just a short drive to the beach, tucked up the river and out of the wind - we found this house to be a cozy retreat. The owner went above and beyond by returning our son’s special blanket after we forgot it at checkout. Wonderful experience!

Our stay was amazing to say the least. The house was perfectly set up, warm and cozy with great views, location and amenities. The host provided almost everything a guest could imagine to have a great, relaxing and comfortable stay. Watching the fog foll through the valley from the hot tub after a nice meal was perfect.

Beautiful stay close to brookings!

It was a beautiful property. The hot tub on the back deck was nice at sunset overlooking the river. I would recommend staying here!

This is a lovely house in a beautiful location, clearly well cared for. Generally clean and has a really nice bidet. Well stocked and furnished. Only complaint is that the hot tub was pretty gross and had some mold so we couldn't use it.

Amazing views and so quiet

The house and property were beautiful. Far enough off the beaten track to enjoy the quiet and seclusion but close enough to town and all the sights that brookings has to offer. We worked with our host with regards to hosting a small wedding dinner and it was the prefect setting. We are so happy we found this gem!

Oregon Trip

The house is amazing , and the view is unmatched. The host gave us great dinner recommendations and the house was Sooooo clean. Would recommend highly. Pictures don’t even do justice to how beautiful this property is. 10 out of 10.

Gorgeous cabin in wonderful secluded location overlooking Chetco River. Lots of deer. Driveway is very steep and difficult to turn around in. Access to river needs improved and hot tub cushions need replaced but otherwise fantastic.

Gorgeous river cabin

Our family travels to the Oregon coast several times per year and this place is truly one of the best places we have stayed. The house is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and relax. Comfy beds, plenty of extra pillows and towels, perfectly stocked kitchen. We spent many hours floating around and fishing on the river in front of the house. Evenings on the deck and hot tub. Couldn’t be better! We will be back.

Great quiet getaway spot for families

We loved the house and its natural surroundings and beauty. The property is very quiet and still with regularly visiting deer and other wildlife. The river at the bottom of the hill was secluded and safe and warm enough for us to swim in. Our kids enjoyed tracking frogs and collecting rocks in the stream. The deck and hot tub were lovely features. The host was communicative and provided generous household essentials. The primary drawback was the heat in the upstairs portion of the house during the afternoon/evenings. It would have been great if the windows in the second bedroom had blinds or if another AC unit was available up there. All in all, we had a very happy stay and would recommend it to others.
