This newly constructed, well appointed 3 bed, 2 bath house is tucked away on 5 private acres, just outside town. Secluded yet only 15 mins from Springfield & 30 mins from Branson! Walking trails on site where you're sure to see wildlife & only 5 mins from Shelvin Rock access where you can fish, kayak or float! Enjoy coffee on the covered front porch, dinner on the back patio, or watch a movie in any of the bedrooms or living room. Or venture out--so much to enjoy close by! No detail has been overlooked!
The space
Cozy and welcoming, we've tried to think of anything you'll need for a fantastic stay! Fully stocked kitchen, extras like a pack n play, portable high chair, games, yoga mat, cooler, smores/hotdog skewers are just a few of the items provided to make your stay perfect.
There are walking trails to enjoy and a perfect front porch for relaxing, as well as a back patio for dining or a bonfire. You're likely to see some wildlife during your stay such as deer, turkey, squirrels, rabbits and more!
Guest access
You and your guests will have the entire home to yourself. This new home is set back off the road and is on 5 acres of woods, so you may share it with wildlife such as deer, turkey, rabbits, squirrels, and the occasional possum or raccoon!

This was an outstanding property with lovely amenities. The host thought of everything including hot chocolate and black make up towels. We loved the selection of games also.Everything we needed was provided. We would recommend this property to anyone.

Very clean, private property. Came with family to stay for the weekend and work on getting a house painted for my sister. The home was well stocked with necessities. Very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Plenty of space for everyone! Lovely outdoor seating. Would love to return and just enjoy relaxing by the firepit! Jill was an awesome communicator. Very accommodating! Definitely would recommend staying here.

We rented this house as a landing pad while we prepped for our daughter's wedding at the Greenhouse Two Rivers, which is about 12 minutes away. The house is ADORABLE, and I wish we'd had time to actually enjoy it. One of our bridesmaids stayed there, but we just used the kitchen to prep appetizers for the event (and the kitchen is BEAUTIFUL). It's so peaceful there--would love to come back and just chill there for a couple of days!

As an individual who travels a lot and someone who manages/cleans multiple vacation rentals, I am pretty particular about where I stay and quite critical on the cleanliness. I was so impressed with this location and it was perfect for our group. It was impeccably clean, comfortable bedding and a nice getaway for our team after busy days. Stocked well and owners were very informative. We hope to make this a regular place for our corporate visits to Nixa. Beautiful property and a place we look forward to returning too.

Wonderful Property!

Our family of seven loved this location. Great scenery, quiet, and the house was amazing. Felt like an upscale hotel with all the trims and touches. Every need was taken into account, the beds were comfortable, and the amenities were plentiful. Highly recommend if you are staying in the area and need a nice, quiet, peaceful retreat!

BEST VRBO EVER!

This place is amazing. The decor and design is so sophisticated but livable. The house is clean and organized. The grounds are beautiful. Sadly we were there at a cold time so we did not get to use the outdoor fire pit but it is a great touch to the property. House rules are clearly detailed in a folder. Communications with the owner was swift and polite. I would recommend this place!

Super cozy and comfortable!

The house was great, very cozy and comfortable! Everything we needed was available. The location was very convenient to Springfield/Nixa and Kimberling City. Definitely would be fun to come back during warmer months and spend more time outside.

Visiting new baby

We were coming from Kansas City to visit my sister and her family who just welcome to new baby in a neighboring town. When we have come to visit before we stay in the only hotel close by and it is not very comfortable, clean, or ideal. I was thankful to come across this property. It was absolutely perfect for our crew. We went to Silver Dollar City one day and it was an easy drive. We also used the fire pit to make s’mores which the kids absolutely loved! Jill was great and everything was clean and comfortable for our stay. Highly recommend and will be hoping to stay again for another visit!

Best place in Nixa

The property was exactly as listed! The hosts were prompt & pleasant with responses to our questions. Everything was as perfect as a VRBO could be! The property was perfectly situated between Springfield & Branson so we had no problem driving to the tourist destinations we had sought out. Loved the wildlife! We saw bucks, does & fawn along with LOTS of turkeys & even an armadillo! If this place is available - BOOK IT!

Amazing!

This was my first personally researched and reserved Vrbo and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They truly thought of everything. The place is so well maintained and fully stocked with everything you could need. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet that you could never get in town or at any hotel. The back yard fire pit and nature trails were perfect for our outdoor loving kiddos. We will without a doubt be staying again!

The Most Amazing Stay!

Stayed here with my husband, parents, and sister. We were in the area for a wedding. This place was perfect and had the best personal touches. Viisting by the fire pit, cooking and cleaning together in the kitchen, sitting out front through out the day, and relaxing in the living room by the fireplace were my favorite things. I definitely recommend!

Great place

Easy location to get to. The property was wonderful. The house was comfortable very much enjoyable would go back again if I had to go down that way we were there for a wedding we were at a venue called greenhouse, two Rivers, which was 10 minutes from the property I would suggest anyone going into that area should try this home. It was really really a great place.

Cozy out of town home

It is a very nice and cozy place out of town, but still close enough to be within 10-20 minutes to any store. The house was very clean and you could find everything you needed with no trouble. Decor is not toddler/infant friendly, but it shouldn't be a problem for any resouceful parent. We managed childproofing with high shelving and well placed pillows and chairs. The walking trail also helps keep the kids entertained as there is plenty of wildlife to entertain. Would definitely stay here again should the opportunity arise.

Peaceful and cozy place

We really enjoyed our stay in the WonderWoods. It was very clean and they had everything we needed. Very thought out rental. You can tell they take pride in their place. It was also a good location. Short drive into Springfield and about 30 minutes or less to Branson. Would definitely stay here again

Magnificent

This property is the best of both worlds. Quiet and serene but not so far from the hustle and bustle of the city to be inconvenient. The owners have really out done themselves and have prepared a vacation rental that is very pleasant. From the signage to the appointments in each room this is a property that you should enjoy without the need to be worried about the neighbors.
