This place was fantastic and exactly as advertised! I stayed with two friends and we were able to walk down the street to get breakfast and window shop before we spent the day in the city. The house is in a very cute, very walkable neighborhood that we really enjoyed. Although it got a little warm upstairs because it was late summer, the ceiling fans in every room were fantastic and the AC did eventually help cool things down. I would definitely stay again!

We (two adults and two teens) were visiting friends for the weekend who live nearby and wanted a place close to them and with a kitchen for incidental meals. This completely fit the need - nice neighborhood, spotless apartment; very nice little balcony for morning coffee and a short walk to restaurants and shopping in Forest Park. Also when I had a small issue getting into the door at first the host was super quick about getting it fixed - thank you!

Great location and nice apartment/duplex! Space was clean and had everything we needed - including coffee and toiletries. Everything worked great, was exactly as described, and the neighborhood is nice! Loved that we were a short walk from the blue line L train. We parked on the street and had zero issues. Highly recommend and would stay again.

The perfect spot

This location was perfect for our group. Just one mile to our daughter's home and less than that to all the amenities we needed. The hosts are lovely people and we will definitely consider staying here on future trips.

Great Place !

This property is outstanding! Clean, new upstairs apartment. Well-furnished and vey tastefully done. Even had a top-rated Bosch dishwasher and new gas stove. It is the best place we have ever tented. Plus the owners very attentive. The L station is only a short walk away.

This was our first VRBO stay and this property exceeding our expectations! Hosts were flexible with our request to check in early and had excellent communication. Very kind and friendly. Location was close to food, shopping and the freeway. I would stay with this host again.

Great Stay to Visit Chicago

My husband and I stayed at Megan’s place with a couple of our friends to visit Chicago for St. Patrick’s Day weekend. The place was very cute, clean, and quiet. It is a quick 10 minute walk to the blue line train station which takes you directly into downtown in about 40 minutes. Very easy and convenient! There are cute restaurants and cafes close by the apartment too. The parking space was very nice to have, and check in was easy. Megan and her husband, Jake, were very nice and accommodating. Definitely recommend staying here!

This place is fantastic! Super clean, packed with everything you need, and located in a quiet neighborhood. There are several restaurants and cafes a 5-10 minute walk away – and most deliver if you’re not into the whole in-person thing. There’s a cozy backyard with a covered pergola and outdoor seating, so you can use it rain or shine. If you’re going with kids, there is also a community pool (basically a small waterpark) nearby that you can easily spend a few hours at for a reasonable price. Just make sure to check the website to see if it’s a ‘resident/passholder only’ day.Megan and Jake are such kind, accommodating and gracious hosts. Any questions we had were answered quickly, and they gave us some great tips about where to go and where to eat in the neighborhood. This is a great place if you want to visit the chaos of downtown (30 minutes or so by car, or about 45 minutes by train – the station is a short walk away), then retreat back to peace and quiet.Thank you for an awesome, relaxing stay!

Three Night Stay

Owner was very responsive. Easy to get in and out. In the middle of a safe, residential neighborhood. Didn't use the kitchen except to make the provided coffee, which was a nice touch. A short walk to several good restaurants. Bathroom is a good size with plenty of provided towels. Has a large screen smart TV with a nice clear screen. The AC worked well and there are ceiling fans, too. It's not fancy but is an excellent base to get out an enjoy Chicago and its neighborhoods and less expensive and more convenient than a lot of motels.

Chicago trip

Location was walking distance to blue line and Madison street which offered plenty of dining places. Host was prompt with responses. Check in was easy. Kitchen had the basic essentials. Which was perfect for breakfast and easy dinner items. TV kept having connectivity issues the whole time. Needed Wi-Fi reconnected couple of times and then just slow start up and response times. The HVAC system is in one of the bedrooms and is very noisy. Bathroom was little crammed. Shower was narrow for the taller people in the group. Neighborhood was quiet. Could only hear the little kids downstairs twice but that was during day hours. Wonderful patio to sit out and enjoy the night. Nice backyard/common area.

Beautiful home in a very nice quiet neighborhood. Was very pleased with the set up and my kids really enjoyed the accommodations. Really did feel like a home away from home after a long day of sightseeing.
