Incredible Location/ Incredible Vacation

I can't speak highly enough about our recent stay at the property/ The property manager, Luis, was highly communicative, extremely accommodating, and made our stay quite memorable. The residence was clean, well described, and comfortable. The location had plenty of options for food and recreation. We spent one full day at the pool and another at the private beach. Incredible stay and am looking forward to our next visit.

My family loved our stay at this beautiful property! It was extremely clean & so well appointed. So many extras like beach & pool toys, cooler, umbrella & books! The owners, Rich & Verna, were easy to communicate with when needed. They provided restaurant ideas & other information before our arrival. The property manager, Luis, met us upon check-in and showed us around. He was also easy to contact during our stay & always so friendly & helpful. This property exceeded our expectations! We absolutely loved it! We loved the complex of Mareazul, as well. Huge pool, beautiful beach, two great restaurants, all in a very safe, secure gated property. We would love to return again in the future!

Relaxing and Beautiful Property

Both the place and the property were beautiful and so well maintained. The pool is huge, the beach is one of the best I have seen in Playa del Carmen. Everyone was kind and helpful. It is very quiet and relaxing - perfect for families with young children. Getting a taxi from the front desk was very easy; but my one issue is that we were a five people, which doubled the cost of the taxi. This made it feel a little isolated. If there were bike rentals onsite, this would have been very nice. Otherwise we had a great time.

Excellent Experience

We stayed at this property for over 3 weeks with our two adult daughters who joined us for a couple nights after a week stay at a resort during Xmas. This property was exactly as listed. A very spacious unit with all the amenities to make a long term stay enjoyable. Our hosts provided excellent information about the property and surrounding areas - they went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay!A short (2 minute walk) to the beautiful beach with bar service, free lounge chairs and Umbrellas. You can walk along the beach for miles and even directly into Playa del Carmen. You can also walk directly into Playa along a well developed street-way where you will find joggers and beach goers (takes about 30 minutes walking to get to the heart of 5th avenue). The beach bathrooms are always clean and fresh with paper hand-towels. We frequented many beaches in all areas of the Rivera Maya and this is one of the cleanest white-sand beaches with fairly calm waters. The property grounds are very well maintained. They have massive clean/warm pools for all to enjoy with a great restaurant located in the middle of the pool area. Fabulous stay!

Perfect place for a family getaway (or two couples!

Loved this condo and the complex! Our family includes two older teen boys and we had ample room to spread out. The unit could easily hold family of six OR two couples. Onsite is one of the largest pools in all of Playa Del Carmen, nice walking areas, hammocks for resting, and a small playground for the littles. The beach area is substantial and clean. Two onsite restaurants provide diverse dining options. Grocery stores are within a quick taxi ride (taxis are available everywhere, they also have a very inexpensive bus system that we didn't take, but another resident told us about). Walk to the popluar Fifth Avenue for meals, shopping, booking excursions. Fun activities that we booked ahead of time: scuba (we had a very bad weather week, so our ocean dive was canceled, but we were able to do an amazing cenotes dive unique to the area), Chichen Itza tour, and Xplore (adventure park with ziplines, amphibious vehicles, massive water slide and more - I would recommend 8 years or older, we mostly saw teens and adults). Overall: great location, lots of privacy and room, wonderful communication with owners AND the property manager. Our week was one of the rainiest ever, and they were checking in to provide suggestions to help make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Great property

The assortment looks exactly as in the pictures. It is located in a complex that has a series of pools, an excellent lunch/dinner restaurant, a breakfast place, a gym, and a beautiful beach with lounge chairs and sun umbrellas provided free of charge. All communications prior and during our stay were very useful and honest. The adjustment is gorgeous and comfortable. We also lived there city of Playa del Carmen. We would happily come back

First time renting condo

I can't say enough good things about this property. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, clean, well stocked with everything we needed. Kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals, drinks etc. The property is secured and safe. Infact, in front of our condo there was a bike standing in a parking stall for 6 days, not locked. The property itself is beautiful. Best beach around. No rocks or seaweed, just beautiful white sand. Pool is huge with lots of areas for children. 2 restaurants on the property with delicious food options. Its quiet with many areas with different seating options like lounge chairs, shady covered areas, hamacks etc. What made the best impressions on us here was the property manager Luis. We had to contact him on a couple of occasions for minor things like new batteries for remote and water bottle replacement. Everytime his response was within minutes and delivery set up quickly. I can't praise him enough. He even went out of his way to help me with an item i forgot in the unit after checkout. Best experience ever. Thank you.

Spacious Condo

Condo is just as shown, very spacious, loved the decor. Beds were comfortable. The resort was pristine, the pools are large with enough loungers, beach was clean. The little beach club at the end of the beach was nice to have, to have a change of scenery. The one downside, it was very hard to communicate with the restaurant staff, their English is minimal, and we seemed to be looked over and waited a long time for food and drinks. Ordering taxis was a breeze to get into town. We all enjoyed our time spent, and would stay again.

Beautiful well maintained property

The grounds at the property were very well maintained and the unit was beautiful. Louis greeted us at the entrance and made sure we had everything we needed all week. The beach was lovely! We were also able to walk to 5th Avenue which was enjoyable. I would recommend this location and unit!

Beautiful and relaxing

Our family of three stayed at this condominium for about one week. The condominium and the property are beautiful, clean and safe. All the amenities are available. The contact process with the property owners and manager was very smooth and prompt. Will totally stay here again if we were to revisit.

Fantastic!

We love Mareazul and this condo was great. The property manager (Luis) was personable and response. When the water dispenser broke the owners worked quickly to have a new one ordered next day. The only challenge was the washer/dryer combo. Washed clothes well, but no matter how long you let it dry for it just couldn’t. Had to hang dry everything which we eventually got the hang of. So 4.5/5 which we’ll round up to 5. Property was great, beach was nice when the sargassum wasn’t bad. We’d certainly go back.

Beautiful Condo complex on beach with big, beautiful pool

Situated in a safe and gated community just north of Playa Del Carmen. Short walk to a private beach safe for swimming and great beach walks. Verna and Rich are great hosts with great restaurant suggestions. If you want a comfortable beach vacation, space for some quiet time, ans great access to restaurants and activities near Playa Del Carmen this is a great choice. Thanks!

Loved our stay

We stayed for 16 days. The property is lovely, as pictured. The pools are wonderful. Having access to a restaurant on the property is great also. We did experience a water heater leak while there and management at the property and the owner were very responsive and had it repaired within a couple of hours. If we find ourselves in Playa again, we will definitely stay here. If you do visit, I encourage you to have a car and drive around to experience the city and people, and look for "local" restaurants, which are considerably less experience and a more authentic experience. The people here are very friendly and considerate. It's worth the effort.

What a great place !

Our family had an amazing time at this apartment in Playa del Carmen. Great service, fully equipped, the best location I can think of. Luis was great and kind as a host. The pool is something else … it’s like 300 yards long. Beautiful beach and great food. I can’t ask for more.

Outstanding!

This stay was absolutely perfect. The condo is very spacious and comfortable. We loved relaxing on the deck during the day and evening and then kicking back on the very comfortable couch at night. We slept like babies and were completely relaxed the whole time. The resort itself is beautiful with the landscaping and pools. There are attendants on the beach so no need to go down and save a place in the morning. You just tell them where you want to be and they get lounges and umbrellas out for you. We liked the pool bar but didn't care for the food at the restaurant. Verna and Rich were great. They answered every question we had throughout our stay and sent us a welcome packet ahead of time with everything you need to know. We stayed here for 7 nights and then went onto Cabo but we both agreed we could've skipped Cabo and easily stayed another week!

Doesn't get much better!

We felt right at home in this very well equipped, comfortable condo. It is beautifully decorated and has a great location on the property as it provides a wonderful view of the gorgeous grounds off the huge deck. This is a very well maintained, quiet and secure complex. The beach is one of the best we have seen in the PDC area, great for swimming and walking. The free beach chairs and umbrellas are a huge bonus. The pool is simply stunning. There are 2 very good restaurants on site . Highly recommend the tempura shrimp and fish tacos! We were here for a month and did a lot of our own cooking and found all appliances in great working order and the kitchen well appointed. We had guests stay with us for 1 week and they were very comfortable in the large 2nd bedroom with private bath. It was also great to have a washing machine. The hosts, Verna and Rich were very easy to communicate with and provided a lot of helpful information. The location is a cab ride to PDC, away from the noise. This will be the first choice of accommodation for us on any future visit to this area and we very highly recommend it.

Beautiful and relaxing

Our family of four had an amazing time just before Christmas at this lovely property. Verna and Rich were available for questions about the area, and the property manager was very helpful and quick to respond. The location has easy access (with a car) to beautiful places along the Mayan Riviera and the people were kind and helpful. We felt safe and comfortable even during covid because nearly everyone wore masks and the sites were very clean. Highly recommend Mexico and this property for families, for either hanging at the beach and pool (which are both gorgeous) or visiting water parks, cenotes, and visiting Playa del Carmen and Tulum. And delicious food is everywhere!

Great property, nice quiet location

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo, it was spacious and well equipped. We spent all of our time on the large patio enjoying the beautiful garden views. The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes through the gardens. The beach was gorgeous and good for walking in either direction. The beach attendant was there to set up chairs and an umbrella for you. It was Christmas week so a bit busier than usual but we could always get loungers as long as we were down before 11. The biggest thing for us was communication, we had constant check ins from Verna and Rich. While on property, Luis could not have been more helpful and always available. There is a beach grill on property and the food was excellent, from wings to nachos to steaks, they had a wide variety and reasonable prices. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay with a gorgeous beach on a quieter area, this is the place for you! We will be back.

Our breathtaking playa del carmen vacation

This was an absolutely amazing vacation. The trip from the airport was great because we rented a private shuttle to transport us to the property where we were met by an amazing Concierge Luis Ruiz. His service was five star all the way. Luis welcomed us upon arrival settled us in and was only a phone call away whenever we needed him. This property was nothing short of amazing. The pictures are great but to see is to believe it. We absolutely loved our place and the amenities. The grounds were beautiful. The pool is fabulous and the poolside restaurant has great food and great drinks.Thanks to our great Concierge Luis and staff, our breathe taking accommodations, and wonderful surroundings we will go and record saying you will not regret booking this property. This was our first time in Playa del Carmen we have fallen in love and will definitely return again.

My family and I had originally planned on staying at a resort for my 40th bday but received the unfortunate news two weeks prior to our departure that the grand opening of the resort had been delayed. Thankfully I was able to book our stay here and was pleasantly surprised at the resort style pool and the restaurant. The sargasso situation is unfortunate but we were too busy to really let it negatively impact our vacation. We went to XelHa, the Tulum ruins, and spent some relaxing days by the pool. The communication and overall service was great. I appreciated everyone being so engaged, respectful, and overall available.

Great unit in a wonderful location

The property is in a great location, close enough to night life while secluded to avoid crowds. The check-in process was simple and the unit is just as nice if not nicer than the photos. The beach is walking distance, very clean and rarely crowed. Verna was especially helpful and provided a lot of recommendations of activities, restaurants and very responsive. I would highly recommend this property, perfect for families or working remotely

Very Relaxing With a Beautiful View!

Loved staying at the condo. Very clean and quiet. The pool area and bar was really nice. Great security! Walking distance to 5th avenue with all the shopping, restaurants and entertainment. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and eating out on the great deck. Fernando (property manager) was great with anything we asked. The cleaning lady did an excellent job each time she cleaned. I would stay there again!

Absolutely Perfect!

This was our second time staying here, and it was amazing. Super clean condo with helpful staff. Pool and beach never busy, but still well staffed and very clean. We had our groceries and drinks delivered, so they were waiting for us when we arrived, which was so nice. The gym is really clean, and the tennis coutrs are nice to use at night under the lights. We can't wait to stay here again!

My husband and I live in Pennsylvania, USA and have two lovely grown up daughters. Rich and I are retired, he as an Engineer and me from working in rental properties management. I grew up in Guadalajara Mexico and still have family in that area so I consider myself to be a part time Mexican :) My sister who was born in Mexico, co-owns the condo with us. She also owns a business in Mexico; Dancefield, a dancewear manufacturer and retailer.

Our family started vacationing in the Riviera Maya around 1999. Once we spent a week in the area, we were spoiled and no other beach would do. We tried everything from the hustle and bustle of Cancun to the most deserted areas near Tulum. We loved spending evenings walking around Playa del Carmen but did not like the idea of staying in town with the noise and the crowds. We searched virtually every mile of the Riviera Maya looking for the perfect combination of a sandy beach, a high end location, not too many crowds, cleanliness, safety, a beautiful pool, no loud blaring music with entertainers trying to get us to the the limbo and a short drive to the best dining opportunities. When we saw the property under construction we decided that this was the perfect spot for us.
Having grown up in Guadalajara where you can find the finest Mexican artisans and designers, we decided to become heavily involved in the decorating and selection of furnishings for the apartment. My sister and I spent months viewing photos of custom and hand made furniture and then spent a couple of weeks walking around the towns of Tlaquepaque and Tonala visiting the various factories and design shops for our final selections. Our goal was to have a clean and contemporary look combined with both typical and modern Mexican touches. We hope to have achieved that.

Our renters matter to us. We recently spoke with condo owners who told us all about the “cheap stuff” they put out for renters and the “good stuff” they use for themselves. We want to put out the “good stuff” for our renters trusting that they will feel at home and care for our place as if it was their own and have found this to be the case. We change linen supplies about every 6 months and are constantly updating. Our home is your home. Mi casa es su casa.
