Mayan Magic El Faro Beach Front Condo

El Faro significa Faro y este faro ha sido un hito en Playa del Carmen durante muchos años y sigue siendo un faro en funcionamiento. Residences El Faro Condominiums ha incorporado el faro en la propiedad.

Nuestro condominio FRENTE AL MAR está a solo 35 pasos de la playa y 170 pasos de la FAMOSA 5ta AVENIDA, que está llena de emocionantes restaurantes y tiendas.

La playa que ve desde nuestro condominio ofrece natación, windsurf, parasailing, buceo, jet ski y, lo más importante, un día relajante en la playa.

Nuestro condominio cuenta con una cocina moderna totalmente equipada que incluye una parrilla multiusos George Foreman, o tenemos una parrilla de gas Weber en el balcón.

Hemos tratado de incorporar la maravillosa cultura maya en nuestra pintura mural en la sala de estar con la esperanza de que sientas el verdadero sentido de México.

Hay muchas actividades cerca, incluidos tours por la jungla con tirolesas, parques acuáticos / de actividad, ruinas mayas, buceo en cenotes y mucho más. Ven y únete a nosotros para unas excelentes vacaciones.

This is absolutely perfect location! Pool was never busy and looks right out to the sea and was very private. Head out the front door and within minutes you’re in the middle of everything!The condo is clean and had everything we wanted. We loved our experience! Terry is definitely a super host, always very responsive. Can’t go wrong staying here!

Perfect Getaway!

My husband and I were looking for something close to the beach and within walking distance to whatever we needed. This fit the bill perfectly. The photos in the listing were spot on. The condo was cute! Plenty of closet space for our clothing. The bed was clean and comfy … I slept great! The kitchen has everything you need. The pool was delightful and the views were spectacular!! I reached out to Terry several times before we arrived and he was very responsive with great information. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Perfect location

Our stay in Terry's condo was an excellent experience. The unit itself was as described on the VRBO website. It was very clean and nicely furnished with comfortable furniture. Everything needed was provided for cooking. All we purchased was food, from Walmart, for snacks or quick breakfasts, etc. We are an older couple (70) and found the location to be just right. The building is on the beach, the pool area is very nice and the water was clean an warm. 5th Ave, which is the center of shopping and eating is a short block away. There are cabs easily accessed within that block for when we wanted to go somewhere not in walking distance. We plan on returning to Playa del Carmen again and will definitely try to book this condo again.

Condo was great!

This condo is exactly as described. Great views on a large patio. We were very happy with our stay. The pool is huge. The condo complex is located in the best spot, with lots to do on one side and peace and serenity on the other. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone visiting Playa Del Carmen.Lori D.

Beautiful view, fantastic spot!!

Terry’s spot has a brilliant view of the water, amazing pool and location, and my family was absolutely thrilled with the amenities and space!! I wish I was still sitting on the balcony now, listening to the waves. The El Faro staff was friendly and helpful and my family loved that this was quiet and safe, yet situated in the most scenic and lively part of bustling Playa del Carmen—the best of all worlds!

Wonderful time in Playa del Carmen

This was our first time in Playa de Carmen, but it won't be the last! The condo was absolutely perfect on both accounts, location and space. The photos do not give justice to how spacious the place is, with a huge balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. We enjoyed the sunrise while having breakfast every morning. The condo is about a 2 minutes walk to the lively pedestrian Quinta Avenue, full of restaurants and cute shops. As to the beaches, swimming in front of the condo is feasible but not ideal with some rocks, but just 2 minutes south towards the ferry is a perfect spot with great sandy beach. Beautiful beaches also north of the pier. You can walk north on first avenue and turn right at the Hilton, head to the sea, and walk north on the beach. Perfect for swimming and relaxing.We enjoyed a day at Cozumel. Easy to get on the ferry and a 45 minutes sail to cross. We rented a moped and toured the island. Once you get away from the busy tourist area, the beaches are beautiful and the east side is gorgeous and ... nobody there. The locals are very friendly, and we always felt safe. Taxis are always available and ready to take you anywhere, not as expensive as you may think. The little town north called Puerto Morelos is also quaint, less busy than playa and just about 30 minutes drive. We rented a car for the day, but should have taken a taxi. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful condo!

We chose this condo because it had two king size beds and we had two retired couples staying. That was perfect. The views of the pool and the ocean were wonderful! And it was a great pool! The location a short ways off 5th Avenue and right on the beach was amazing. The living areas and patio had plenty of comfortable furniture. We would definitely stay here again.

Best location, best pool, best condo !!!

Our 4th time staying at El Faro condos, but 1st time staying in Terry & Steve's. By far, the nicest condo that we've stayed in. The decor is over-the-top with a lot of really nice touches from local artists (too much to describe). Comfortable, quiet, cozy, and accommodating. Next time we visit, we're going to stay there again.Great balcony view of the ocean and the pool. Probably the best pool in Playa Del Carmen. Location is probably the best too; shopping, lots of great food, and the ferry, all within a short walk. For the price, it's the best value on the beach.

Great condo/apartment

Loved this place. Terry is a great host! The apartment was very nice with all the amenities. Perfect location to restaurants and shopping and it’s on the beach. Ocean view. I highly recommend and would go back for another stay.

Incredible place

Like everyone else states, the unit is gorgeous. Very well appointed and decorated. Lot’s of space. Very comfortable. Insane ocean and pool view. The pool is huge and the staff are as attentive as if you were at a resort. Security is tight. No onsite food/beverage, but there is so much within walking distance and a great beach club next door that it really wasn’t necessary. So glad I chose Terry’s condo and will definitely return. Terry helped arrange airport transportation, which worked out very well for us. We used the same company for transportation to Tulum. The only hiccup we experienced was towards the end of our trip when someone began staying in the unit upstairs. I think it’s a much bigger unit, and it sounded like a lot of people. They stayed up late (3am) both nights, and the soundproofing between floors seemed to be lacking. Other than that, the condo could not have been any better!

Best time in Playa del Carmen

My family of 8 had a fantastic time at Terry’s condominium in Playa del Carmen. This was our first time in Mexico and the location was perfect. Our group ranged from 5 years old to 75 years old, and Terry’s apartment was perfect for everyone. We were located at the heart of 5th avenue with many choices for food, tours and the best part was that we were right on the beach. The view from the place is stunning and we all enjoyed every minute of our family vacation. Terry was very informative prior to our stay, during and after. Thank you Terry for your help. We will definitely recommend your place to anyone visiting Playa del Carmen and we will be back soon!

Delightful!

My husband and I come here often (we are early retirees) and have found this to be the absolute perfect spot. Terry was so gracious, arranging transportation and providing so many recommendations. His condo is spotless and very well maintained, and he even had it cleaned once during our 6 night stay! It is well stocked if you want to enjoy homemade meals. The views are unmatched…you are crazy close to the ocean and are positioned for pristine sunrise views. I find it difficult to beat in terms of location, cleanliness, views, communication…you name it. We like to walk Calle Cinco and the other couple likes to enjoy quiet time on the patio with the pool and ocean view. It’s perfect for either. You can’t go wrong here!

Amazing location

We couldn't have asked for a better location. We parked the car in the garage and just walked everywhere. The condo was VERY clean and very well stocked. The pictures don't due it justice. The balcony is huge. We ate breakfast on it every day. The condo staff are very nice and helpful. Everything is a stones throw from the condo! Terry always answered our questions w/in minutes. He was very helpful and left a very detailed "note" with lots of information on restaurants, activites, grocery stores, etc. You won't be disappointed if you rent this place out!! We'll be back!!

Fantastic condo, location and recommendations!

The condo is beautiful, has excellent staff, and is very comfortable. The pool was also excellent. The proximity to the beach is unreal. Snorkeling right off the beach and walking up to the pool in 5 minutes is crazy! We also loved the town and the nearby trips. All of Terry's restaurant and excursion recommendations were on point. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place for a beach getaway

My family (two adults and one 11-year-old) really enjoyed our stay at Terry's condo. The condo was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool, the beach, and the proximity to restaurants in Playa. Thanks for a great place!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL 5 stars

When we walked in to the apartment, our jaws dropped. It’s stunningly beautiful and the views are amazing. With closer inspection, the attention to detail is amazing. Beautifully decorated and small details were not overlooked. The location is perfect…right in the heart of action and next to plenty of restaurants. We loved it and plan to come back!
