Welcome to The Cabin at the Redwoods -- located in Westhaven, within walking distance to the beach, and just a short drive to the Redwoods. This stunning, spacious 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home sits on 1.17 acres. Enjoy the wood burning stove off the living room, and rear deck hot tub on cool evenings. Natural light floods the home during the day. Peaceful, slow-running creek runs through the rear of the property. Updated kitchen, and tastefully decorated interior. The perfectly private getaway!

We find ourselves thinking about this special cabin again and again after our stay. It is such a cozy and beautiful home. It was the perfect place to reset after visiting the beach or the redwoods. We could make dinner each night and enjoy the hot tub. We played games at the table, and loved the view out of each window. The beds were so comfortable and the spaciousness was much appreciated by our teens, and by us. It is in a wonderful location and check in was seamless. We are most grateful!

Perfect location to visit Redwoods, beaches and quaint town of Trinidad! Everything about this house is exceeded our expectations! Had everything needed for 6. Slight issue with one shower only.

Location in heart of redwoods and beaches

What an incredible house! Owners even provided a locally themed welcome gift! Plenty of space for our family of 5 with wonderfully outfitted kitchen. Loved the outdoor space! We made all of our meals in the house. Murphy’s Market in Trinidad and the Coop in Arcata are great grocery stores. We were able to visit the beaches and redwoods from this location easily. Jedediah Smith - nature/river trail, grove of titans, stout grove, Howland Hill Road, and Smith River. Humboldt - Avenue of Giants, Matthole Road, Rockefeller Loop, Founders Grove. Prairie Creek Nature trail and James Irvine. Tidepooling at Luffenholtz beach at negative low tide a must!!! Thank you for a beautiful stay in the redwoods!! Wish we had a few more days in this spot.

Great stay!

We had a great stay at this home. The house was very comfortable for our family and it was in a great location. We have family in Westhaven so it was great being close by. The bedrooms were all bigger than expected and our younger kids loved that there was a bunk bed. We also really enjoyed using the hot tub. The kitchen was very nice and I loved cooking on a gas stove since that is what I have at home. The house was comfortable and fit our needs well. We would definitely return!

Great location for hiking the Redwoods.

Easy access to 101-hiking and beaches all around. House is right off the 101, but you don’t feel it. Very serene.

Wonderful Home, Perfect Location, So Cozy!

Beautiful property; looks even nicer in person. Convenient location for visiting Redwood National Park. Very well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms! So homey and cozy. Would definitely rent again.

Great Redwood Getaway

House was spacious and clean. Plenty of space between properties and with enough trees to give a sense of seclusion. Hot tub was a nice addition but was not really included in the description. That was a great surprise. Had to buy a new non-stick pan for the kitchen, but other than that, we had no issues and really enjoyed the stay. Would absolutely come back.

Home away from home

This was a lovely place for our holiday away from home. Close to the coast and redwoods. The host was excellent. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

Trinidad is one of my favorite places to visit!

Grandma hikes the Redwoods

Our 86 y.o. Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother stated the redwood forest was one of the few places she had never made it to and wanted to go. The ‘cabin’ was perfect as a home base to get her in the woods. She is exhausted but happy and fulfilled.

Best stay!

I've been staying at many properties, but this one is definitely one of the best! Super clean, well stocked, adequate amount of living space for the big group, perfect location and surrounded by forest. Decorations and furniture are nicely matching the building and area.

Redwood trip

The cabin was wonderful! Fast communication and easy check in. Perfect location. The only cleanliness issue was the tea pot had not been cleaned out and the yard grass was tall. We would definitely stay here again if coming back! Loved it!
