The host was accommodating as my family hosted Thanksgiving at the house at the beginning. That being said, the house was not very clean when we got there. We had to sweep and clean the floors, take out the trash, and bring our own sponge because the sponge was dirty. The back patio was covered in leaves and dirt, both on the ground and on all the furniture as well as the grill. Some of the chairs were broken, which limited our outdoor seating options. The ceilings had water stains, the doors had spackling on them, and there were holes in the wall. We were unable to start the grill and when we messaged the host asking for help, we did not receive a timely response so we weren’t able to use the grill at all. We were told quiet hours started at 9PM but we were messaged at 7:15PM to be quieter because the neighbors complained about us playing cards outside (we didn’t have music on or anything). We moved into the house regardless, but it was frustrating that we couldn’t use the full space. Ultimately, the house served its purpose for one night, but for the price I had higher expectations. We ended up leaving the house much cleaner than we received it.
