A great location - could walk to SHARC, and came with passes that also got us in to the pickleball courts!! The house was EXCEPTIONALLY clean, which was awesome. The owner was super responsive when we had a question (before and during stay) and the deck was a perfect spot for outdoor living. The kitchen is pretty small, but again that worked for us as we didn’t plan to cook huge meals when we were there. We would stay there again.

Great stay!

Loved the place. It was very clean. It is definitely dated but with a cool, retro vibe. My 12 year old was thrilled that it had a VCR (she had never seen one!) It is in a great location. We were glad we had the SHARC passes and were able to walk to the SHARC for swimming and disc golf. There is no garage so we kept our bikes locked up outside. The hot tub worked great.

Senior Trip

This was a great location for our boys to do their senior trip after graduation. They had plenty of space and things to do within walking distance. The check in was very easy. The cleaning list was clear and manageable for 5 boys. They said they loved everything, just wished they had bikes (we rented them). They were able to golf, fish, E-bike, explore, go out for a nice meal, cook, and hang out in the hot tub. Thank you.

Perfect Family Cabin

First impression upon walking in the door, was how clean it was. It looked, felt and smelled clean. While small, it was perfect for a family of four (although it could have slept 8). We all had plenty of space. The cabin provided for all our needs perfectly. We couldn't have been happier. It was a little dated in décor, but it also had charm. SHARC was not open (COVID-19), so we could utilize the passes. We would return to this cabin again.

Clean, cozy, however outdated. Beds weren’t that comfortable. Wifi, Roku, and cable did not work.

Repeat Customer

This was the second time we've stayed at this property. We love it. It's the right size, and in the location we like. That said, some of the items that needed to be fixed last time we stayed, still needed attention. There are just some fit & finish items that need attention. While some boards on the deck were replaced, it's approaching needing more significant work. That said, we still loved the stay, and would consider staying there again.

#22 Red Fir in Sunriver

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house worked really well for our family. Enough room for our needs, though I certainly wouldn't call it spacious. Would have been nice to have a garage for bike storage. Make sure you bring food supplies...only salt and pepper provided. No Ac, but we know that going in. A great value for the price, and close to SHARC and the Village.

Thanks for this feedback, Gregg! Red Fir 22 does have a great location. We host a LOT of 'Foodies' here in Sunriver, given the great access to delectable NorthWest cuisine at our restaurants, and we always encourage guests to bring their food items of choice, including condiments as those are a bit hard to guarantee at any given time. We hope you found the kitchen itself well appointed, as we want our families to have everything they need to share meals together. We hope you'll be able to get back to Sunriver soon, and thanks very kindly for taking the time to help us get better.

Good location close to SHARC and Trails

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent 5 nights at Red Fir 22 during the heat of the summer. The place was clean , close to everything and suited our needs. Only challenges we had was the AC was not able to keep the main upstairs cool, the hot water tank kept tripping the breaker and the internet TV had challenges with buffering. We let Sunset Lodging know of the AC and hot water issues and they sent someone out immediately to assess it and do the best they could to fix the issues. Though the AC still had challenges (probably due to how hot it was outside and the main floor was upstairs) and we had to reset the hot water a few times still. Overall the place work well for us and we would stay again.

Nice house with A/C

Great location walking distance from the pool at the SHARC. Having 8 passes was helpful. Air conditioning worked well but with upstairs and downstairs you have to fiddle with it a little bit. If you put the temperature setting right for upstairs, the downstairs freezes or boils. Best to have the two icons, the fire and the snowflake, on at the same time and set the temperature on the thermostat around 72 upstairs. The hot tub is big deep, clean and great. Up ro 104 max. The beds were very comfortable and I appreciated the extra towels and the ability to wash them. The kitchen is very, very tiny. Two people can't be in there at the same time. The TVs camnot stream. The Roku in the living room has buttons for Netflix and others but 2 hours with maintenance and the internet tech proves thatbit is impossible. Cable wotks well, picture is cleae. Three or four or five cars can park at the same time if you're arranged them properly.

Great location!

Overall we had a great stay here! Positives are that this home is in a great location within walking distance to pools and village, the rental agency is friendly and responsive, there is AC, and the home was pretty well cleaned and equipped. However there were a few downsides that should be noted if you are considering a stay here, namely that the internet/cable connection is spotty and the DVD player doesn’t work, we couldn’t find a key to open the hot tub until a maintenance person provided us one halfway through our trip, and for most of our stay the dryer didn’t work so we had to lay everything out to dry. These weren’t huge issues for us and overall, the positives outweighed any minor negatives of staying here!

Great time with nieces and nephew

Great place for a weekend away. Loved the location and how close it was to the Sharc. Had everything we needed. Enjoyed each night on the deck playing cards.
