Awesome home! Very cozy

This home was fantastic. Very clean very comfortable. The property manager communicated promptly with us anytime we had a question. No issues at all. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent property had all we needed, however if you have a struggle with stairs this might not be your location.

Family vacation

This house had more than enough space for my family of 4. Great location and in a quiet neighborhood. Sharc was closed while we were visiting but the passes were easy to find. My only complaint would be that the master bed was a firm and a little lumpy feeling but I like softer mattresses. If you like firm mattress this is the place for you!

Comfortable house for a nice vacation

My family and I had a great time here. Would definitely stay here again. Pros are the house was comfortable and had the basics, and had a nice cozy feel. Beds were comfortable, and the bikes were great. There was a slight musty odor reminiscent of a cabin, not necessarily a con and we aired the house out a bit. Cons were a few dishes here and there were dirty, and there was a dead mouse in a trap stuck to the bed skirt... Otherwise great! Very cute house.

Not the fanciest property, outdated appliances but they all worked! Small kitchen if you have more than four people staying here. Definitely not a modern home but it was clean and had all the beds we needed.

Great House For Our Family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, air conditioned and pantry was well stocked with anything needed. It was a bit outdated however that didn’t bother us a bit. It actually felt very nostalgic. We were able to book a pontoon boat at nearby Cultus Lake for a day in the water and the kids loved the Sharc passes. The bikes were in great shape and the hot tub was very clean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 6 adults stay for a week, using all three bedrooms. The home was perfectly funtional and met our needs. Positives were 8 SHARC passes and 8 bicycles. Maintenance was excellent, as two issues were dealt with quickly. Only negative was pronounced musty smell, mostly upstairs in living room.

Good, but expensive

I found the place to be as advertised. This is not a new home; and your expectations shouldn't be that it is. It was clean, comfortable, and had all the expected amenities. Being a well-seasoned Sunriver renter, this property is very comfortable and well maintained. One thing that did bother me - the daily rate - didn't adequately reflect the additional fees and taxes. The daily rate was significantly more than advertised. And yes, I know I still rented the place - but in the future, it sure would be nice if you calculated an "average per/day cost" to make comparisons between properties easier.

VRBO is actually working with our software to get rates to populate correctly between software on our website and theirs... When you book on our website the fees and taxes all itemize correctly, but when it translates over to VRBO and they add their booking fee, many properties only show the "base rent" and not the "rent including state/county taxes, cleaning.. plus their fee .etc" - It is in the works so that it will average out!!! We hope to see you again soon!

The home worked out well for the most part for our group of 7 women (aged 65+ years) Lots of stairs though- outside & inside - Both bathrooms are on the lower level - was ok but not the best set up. Although it sleeps up to 8 there were only 6 dining chairs - we pulled in a deck chair. Hot tub worked well. Nice open upper level - kitchen/dining/living. Lots of living room seating. Furnishings/décor are dated but all in decent condition. Exterior was recently painted.

Wonderful Stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was clean when we arrived, and we were able to get in easily with the code - no hassle with keys. The kids’ room was, by far, the highlight, and we’ll have the niece/nephew stay over next year to make use of it. Management was quick and extremely helpful when we called with an issue with the Keurig and a dead light bulb. Both problems were fixed within a couple hours, while we were out, and they even left some new coffee pods for us to enjoy. Highly recommended!

The house was perfect for our little group.The sliding door off the deck is hard to open, needs to be looked at.We had a maintenance man stop by to look at the thermostat, he was wearing a mask for covid 19 which was great, but it had a creepy face on it, it was unsettling Maybe everyone should just wear a plain mask while at work .Thanks for a wonderful time!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was the exact location we were looking for and very clean. That being said, we were very disappointed with the some of amenities within the home. It was a big disappointment to not find the pantry start with basic items. We were using the home as our primary place to cook and eat meals. For example, there were no cooking oils or sprays, Coffee, pepper, or other spaces for us to use. This was a shock to yes. Also, The bathrooms provided no conditioner only shampoo. The biggest disappointment over all were the beds and all of the rooms. The Beds in this home were of very cheap quality and the worst to sleep on! They were like sleeping on coils and fabric. There were no king or queen size bed in the home. The largest bed seem to be a double bed. The smaller beds did not even allow for an adult woman to sleep on them without feet and legs hanging off. They seemed to be only 5 feet in length. Our children even complained about the beds.Both nights three of the five of us wokeMultiple times throughout the night and with soreness in our backs. For the price, this home was lacking in quality beds and normal pantry items that are usually available in a home. Therefore, I would not recommend this home.

Hello Brandan, We are happy to hear that the location was great and that the home was very clean. I am sorry to hear that you found the bedding to not be what was expected, the home has 1 queen and 4 twin beds with a sleeper sofa and that is what is advertised for this property in the listing. Normally homes are not stocked with pantry items such as spices, but there is a fully stocked kitchen with all items that you need to cook with. This home is unique in that it does have a pantry with some items for guests to use such as syrup, jam and some spices, I am sorry that you did not find them. There are coffee filters provided and starter sets of toiletries but again no food items are generally stocked.

Just Ok Home Rental Option

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home has received very low and very high ratings in the past. We would say it is somewhere in the middle, probably more toward the low end. Everything was in good repair and relatively clean. However, this house is small and OLD. It also has no A/C, which could be an issue in the summertime in Sunriver. The house is desperately in need of a refresh--carpets, deck, bathrooms, kitchen.... those would all be good places to start. Bedding was super spartan, and all appliances, although in working order, are super loud. This is due to all of them being very OLD. We realize that no rental home will be perfect. Thank You for your review, Brittany. The home was built in 1984 and is 1600 square feet, you are correct the home is not new. The pictures that advertise the home have been taken this year and we feel that it is a good representation of what to expect when renting. We are happy that you reported everything to be clean and in working order in the home for your stay. We hope to see you in Sunriver again!
