Welcome to Lake Shore Drive's most unique beach cottage - "The Nest". Situated just 600 feet from the sands of Sheridan Beach on Lake Michigan.

This home features 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an outdoor shower, and parking for up to 4 cars. With living spaces, an eclectic dining & kitchen area seating up to 12, deck with grill and outdoor seating, and a 3rd floor lookout to Lake Michigan, you'll have plenty of space to gather friends & family for a vacation at the beach.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time. Brought our 2 daughters and their families. Plenty of room for everyone. The older kids loved the bunk beds. We were able to go to the beach every day. The amenities (games, cookware, dishware) in the house met all our needs. We also were able to use the deck everyday as the weather was very good. The deck looks out on the street, but there is very little traffic.Another plus for the property was that the playground was just a few minutes away.

Nice home - with a few caveats.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this home before (and would again). It's in a great location and is well appointed. For the price, there's a lot of deferred maintenance.The raised deck (which is really the only outdoor space), is terrible. It has screws popping up, spongy, rotted wood, etc.The HVAC also needs significant work. If you set the main level at 74 degrees, the lower level will be 62. This is problematic because three of the four bedrooms are in the lower level. To make matters worse, the HVAC unit failed during our stay so it got hot and humid for about 36 hours. The management team did get that taken care of pretty quickly. Lastly, a couple of the faucets are loose in their sinks, toilets that run or don't flush property unless you take the lid off, etc.I guess what I'm saying is, for nearly $7K, I expect a property to be better taken care of. Still, we'll return because the home meets our needs, the nearby beach is great and it has ample parking. We're hopeful these items get addressed before next year.

Best location!

We have been visiting Lake Michigan from Kansas City for many years and this property is the best location we’ve ever had. It is a wonderful property with everything you could need and want. Only one of our 4 kids was able to accompany us, but we look forward to renting again when all of our kids and their partners can accompany us.
