If you’re looking to rent a house in Amish country, this is the one. This Home is meticulously maintained and tastefully decorated. Great communication with the owner and he made sure that we had everything we needed.

The property was even nicer than the pictures showed. It was beautifully decorated and the owner went the extra steps to make us feel welcomed. The house was on a quiet street surrounded by Amish farms. It’s the perfect spot to get away from the busyness of life and unwind. We will be back!

This was a perfect place to spend Thanksgiving with family. The house is beautiful and fully equipped - even to cook a big Thanksgiving meal! Although we didn't end up needing anything, Michael reached out to us before and during the stay just to make sure we were all set. He even set up a Christmas tree before we got there which was lovely.The house has several nice smart TVs which were great for watching Football and other shows over the holiday. The neighborhood is so pretty and we took many walks around the area.We found Amish restaurants and grocery shopping nearby. You do see horses and buggies go by often!Our family had a wonderful time and we are considering returning during the summer as I suspect it is beautiful at that time as well.

A beautiful classic farmhouse but renovated, like-new home on secluded acreage amid scenic farms and fields. Michael was easy to communicate with and was attentive to our every need. The home is located in Pa Dutch country with scenic drives through Amish farmland in every direction you choose. Charming towns with country inns and farm stands are nearby.

Thanksgiving getaway

Exceptional experience - 5 star in every aspect. This was the perfect venue for our 4 adult holiday getaway. Spotlessly clean, very hospitable, easy to work with, highly attuned to guest satisfaction, as well as peace and quiet and lovely scenery. Strongest possible recommendation.

Beautiful Country Home

Sweet Farmhouse

Thoughtful planning on the part of the owner, including a nicely equipped kitchen, conrtributed to our being able to host children and grandchildren for some meals together just before Christmas. We enjoyed the qiuiet country roads for walks in the Amish countryside. Inside the house the atmosphere was enhanced by paintings that mirrored the landscapes outside. A

Exceeded our expectations

Our host Micheal was very easy to communicate with. He thought of everything for the comforts away from home. We will definitely be back. The house is absolutely beautiful! Photos can't describe the overall beauty of this home or the location. We saw Amish buggies, wagons and scooters. The location is in the heart of it all.

Outstanding place

This place exceeded all of our expectations! The home is in a beautiful location with rolling hills, the sounds of farm animals in the distance and the clipping of Amish horse and buggies riding by. It was spotlessly clean and fully stocked with all we needed. The beds were very comfortable too! We enjoyed sitting in the front porch taking it all in. The owner contacted me to be sure everything was in ok after a night. We would not even look for another place if we visit this area again. This one is just perfect!

Excellent, well appointed charming property!

Beautiful home in the peaceful Lancaster County countryside. A wonderful place to get away from the bustle of city life, and get a glimpse of life on a farm (without all the hard work). Loved the serenity and quiet of this place. Michael has thought of everything you could possibly need. Thank you! Will recommend to all our friends with enthusiasm! Host is an excellent communicator who sent reminders, great informative info. and followed up to make sure we were comfortable. I will revisit this lovely property again.

Delightful place!

Michael was very considerate. The house was very clean, even the grill was spotless. The house had all of the tools we needed. The house was filled with artwork mostly with a Lancaster theme. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch every morning watching the slow world drift by. My wife even mentioned one day that it was nice not to hear lawn mowers and leaf blowers, just the clip clop of horse's feet. Very relaxing.

I would have preferred queen beds in stead of king beds that had to be all the way against the wall. Hard for more than 1 person to get in and out without crawling over each other. Then there might be room for 1 small nightstand with a small lamp instead of none.

Beyond Expectations

I can't say enough about this experience. The house delivers in every way. The house/property sits on a hill offering a beautiful view of the countryside. The back entrance is unique and welcoming. Comments started as soon as we got into the house ... noticing all of the obvious touches that made it feel like home. We were immediately satisfied with our choice to stay there. The upstairs only added more satisfaction. The beds/bedding were extrenely comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and stocked with all you need. The house is so conducive to spending time together. We particularly enjoyed the dining table for playing games and sitting on the front porch enjoying a glorious sunset with a glass of wine. The owner is a pleasure to deal with, is responsive and obviously proud of his home. We were particularly impressed with the care he took to label light switches and provide a binder with info on local places ... restaurants, wineries etc. Although we did not get to use the full potential of this home, we have already discussed coming back!
