Just okay

The property is just a rental to the company. Let me first say the location is wonderful and the beach is very private. They answered all of our questions and sent out help anytime we needed but this property is really run down. The bathtub didn’t get hot for us to bathe our kids, this was looked at by maintenance and never fixed. The floors and cabinets were dirty when we got there, they sent the cleaners out again the next day. The light in one of the bathrooms didn’t work and was never fixed. The fridge went out and was fixed by maintenance. Just little stuff that you really don’t want to deal with while on vacation. The shower in the upstairs barely has any pressure. If they really took time to fix these issues and not just rent it out, it would be a wonderful place. The cleaners also need to do a better job.

The location of the house is perfect as you basically have your own private beach. However, I do not feel that I got what I paid for. The condition and cleanliness of the house was terrible. In the living room, the sectional was dirty and the recliners broken on both ends. A work order was submitted, but we never heard about repairs. The rug is disgusting. It is stained and smells musty. The windows had handprints and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in some time. In the kitchen, the dishes and cookware are worn. The oven still had oven cleaner sprayed inside. It was not wiped down. The microwave was rusted. It was nice having a separate refrigerator and freezer. In the bedroom area, there were drink stains on the walls. The bathrooms had soap scum on the shower doors. Again, for the amount of money we spent, I expected a clean house in good condition. Not perfect, just nicer.

The only house with and elevator. It starts on the ground level and goes all the way to the top. This is what we were looking for so this was the best on having and elevator. MW

Beautiful house great location

We enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful very clean it is in a great location. The only complaints we had was the appliances. We were told the ice machine would be fixed. It was not. The refrigerator leaked and we had to keep a towel on the floor constantly. There were several burners on the stove that were not working. The washer was broken. A lot of the furniture was in need of repair. The dishwasher top rack was broken and maintenance did fix that. For the amount of money we paid we were expecting working appliances and furniture that was nice looking.

Family beach trip

We had a blast getting family together for food, fun, and of course the beach! Kids enjoyed crabbing. Grown kids loved flying the kite. Early risers caught the sunrise while enjoying their coffee! We were thankful for all the space and the elevator! The walk to the beach was just over the dunes.

Sparse but beautiful

The location and the beach here couldn't be more special. We saw a variety of wildlife, including rays, turtles, dolphins, and more. It wasn't crowded at all, and walking over the dune to the ocean was manageable even for an 87-year-old. There is plenty of parking. The entire home was very clean and well-designed. The elevator was particularly helpful for those in our party who couldn't manage stairs. However, the house was more sparsely equipped compared to other places we have stayed in Gulf Shores. Although they claim the home sleeps 22, there was not enough bedding or towels for this many guests. There were 14 of us, and it was tight. There was no bedding available for the pull-out couch, nor any extra blankets. The kitchen lacked some essentials, such as a blender, and there wasn't even a salt or pepper shaker in the cabinets. Some of the silverware and whisks appeared to have been used for mixing paint and still had paint on them. Additionally, the dishwasher didn't work, the stove was missing a knob, and the fridge was leaking. The charcoal grill was also quite dirty, which made cooking on it a chore. Basically, if you’re within driving distance and able to bring everything you need for a beach vacation, this place is perfect. But if you’re flying in, it might be challenging to have everything you need to truly enjoy the beach as you might be accustomed to. A note for anyone staying in the king bedroom off the kitchen: it is the loudest room in the house

Spring Break '24

It’s in a great location, far enough from town but close enough to pop in for shopping or entertainment. The photos or maps make it difficult to see how close it is to the beach but it is really seconds—a handful of steps to the top of the hill and the beach starts there—it was never busy our week. The house is large and downstairs very open. Both balconies have expansive views of water and beach. It has everything you need, and in working order. We loved it and would certainly return. I suspect the homes on either side are privately owned because they remained mostly vacant during our week. Plenty of parking available and traffic in and out was not a problem. Some of the room layouts were a little odd. May want to get detail before bringing larger groups. Would have liked to have more space to list some of the nuances.

More sparse than other houses, but it was a good time

This is the fourth house we've rented in Gulf Shores, and it was the most sparse house we've stayed in. Other houses have had beach chairs and toys. We didn't have enough towels, but I guess I should've contacted the company and they would've brought more. I think there was also just one small bar of soap even if there were two sinks in the bathroom. Other than that, the house was good! The maintenance guy Dalton was really nice and helpful. We had a few things he had to address, and he was willing to help with anything. He even tried to get the TV upstairs to connect to the internet (it never did connect, and neither did the other LG TVs in the house). Anyone I talked to was really nice and helpful.
