This cozy waterfront cottage is situated in a serene neighborhood on Papoose Island, with stunning views of Sebago Lake and excellent swimming opportunities. The property comes equipped with a swim float, pedal boat, and 12' rowboat for your use. The dock is capable of holding a boat up to 24' long so you can explore the 40+ miles of boatable waterway on vast Sebago Lake along with Brandy Pond and Long Lake via the Songo River. The cottage is surrounded by natural landscaping and wooded areas, with a cement landing complete with a picnic table so you can dine with a view! The waterfront is accessible via a few stairs from the house, and the property has a slightly sloping yard. When water levels are normal to low, the sandy, gravely beach creates an ideal spot for swimming, with a rock jetty offering protection for the swimming area. Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind property!

Papoose Island Lake Stay

Beautiful location and property. Wonderful swimming area and view of the lake. Gets a lot of shade during the day due to all the trees but we had a wonderful time. The one bathroom was tight sometimes but we enjoyed our time here and recommend the property as one of the best locations

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time staying at this property and it is apparent that the owner's have a lot of pride in their home. The house is immaculately taken care of and well-stocked. The sandy beach is perfect for little ones to play on all day. If you are looking for the most updated and modern home, this property won't be for you. But if you are looking for a home that has been well cared for with everything you need and a private beach? You'll have a great time. The only thing to note is that the bedrooms are small so if you need a place to put something like a packnplay, it will be tight. We did make it work last time though! Plenty of common space for the family to hang out otherwise. Thanks for having us!

Wonderful Location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We (mom and 2 teenage boys) had a fabulous week staying at the Thomas Property. We rented kayaks from Sebago Trails and thoroughly enjoyed paddling, swimming off the beach, jumping off the float, and relaxing in the hammock. The location of this property cannot be beat! Sandy beach, dock, and float - something for all swimmers. We had an issue with the tap water one day, but Krainin and the owner came to our rescue within an hour of my call and the issue was resolved within the day. I was so pleased with the care and attention we received! My only "complaint" is that the mattresses are not great - so sleep wasn't ideal. But we caught up plenty during the day snoozing in the hammock! I highly recommend this property!

Each vacation we considered to debate not only that was the house clean well-maintained. Everyone has been an excellent experience every year. Whenever there’s been issues that we have had to Bring up during our stay, both Krainin and the owner have been extremely responsive. We will happily stay at this location for years to come.
