From our home in West Virginia we invite you to enjoy our “Almost Heaven” home in the 24/7 gated community of Oceanside Village in Surfside Beach, SC. The famous warm, soft sand of Surfside Beach is only a 2 min golf cart (included with rental $350 savings) ride away to the private beach parking lot for Oceanside Village residents and guests. Take along the beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and beach toys that are provided. While there, you can enjoy the Conch Café beach bar for cocktails or lunch and dinner overlooking the magical surf of Surfside Beach.
This inviting, spacious 3-bedroom (linens included), 1.5 bath w/towels (plus extra shower) home sleeps 8 and is perfect for a family, couple, or friend’s getaway. There is a kitchen stocked with all that is needed including a BBQ grille to make great meals to eat in the large dining area. Home also has two separate living spaces with Roku Tv’s. One of the living spaces has a murphy cabinet with queen bed. Washer/Dryer on premises if needed during the week or to wash clothes before heading back home with no worries! The property has start up cleaning supplies, small garbage bags, tall kitchen bags, hand soap, kitchen sponges, paper towels, toilet paper, tide pods, iron, and ironing board.
Amenities are numerous including adult pool, hot tub, children’s pool with splash pad, indoor pool (open all year round). Boccie, tennis, basketball, shuffleboard, and pickle ball courts are available. Along with a children’s playground, baseball field and athletic facility, Oceanside Village offers various activities throughout the summer months. This home is fantastic for short- and long-term rentals year-round! Pets (dogs 50lb or less) are welcome for $150 fee for first dog and $50 for second. We also offer a discount to all branches of the armed forces. This includes first responders, local and state police forces.
Come enjoy the beach, restaurants, golf, outlet shopping or stay at home and relax with all that “Almost Heaven” has to offer. We hope to see you soon!!

Overall a great stay. We had a wonderful time and the house was very nice and clean. Close to both the pool anf beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay

We have had the best time at Almost Heaven! The location is perfect and the amenities in the community can’t be beat…. Even our dog was happy with the dog park and all the great walking. Definitely can’t wait to come back

Perfect Beach Vacation Home

Almost Heaven was a very comfortable stay for our family of 4 and fur baby. The house was clean, had everything we needed to cook and it was convenient having all bed and bath linens provided. Golf cart rides and game nights made it extra special. We enjoyed our stay and this has been one of the best places we’ve rented in OSV.

Almost Heaven was perfect for our family of 8 and pets. Everything from beach access, groceries, and entertainment was minutes from the property. Golf cart was a bonus. The differnt types of pools and hot tub were so much fun for all ages! We will be back for sure!

The property was perfect! It was big enough for our large family, clean, and comfortable. It was close to the beach and offered lots of other activities as well. Our kids loved the pool even more than the beach! We will definitely be back!

We had a short stay lots of space small kitchen and no dishwasher so the kids were put to good use...we have stayed at multiple homes in this community and would definitely stay here again communication was great from Kevin he went above and beyond ………

Really nice place to stay

Almost Heaven is a really nice place to stay. The house is so nicely equipped. You can really tell that you are staying in someone's home. The golf cart and location make it so easy to grab the beach chairs and go to the beach.There are 2 pools at this locations as well as tennis courts, boci ,and the dog park was a major plus! I have stayed at many VRBO's and this is truly a premiere host. Highly recommend!

Outstanding Accommodations!

We absolutely loved this rental! Everything we needed was available. The rental is spacious, clean, and stocked with all “home” necessities. The rental is in a perfect location to beach access and local favorites to enjoy. Loved the large selection of books and board games for rainy days! The rental is nicely decorated throughout. The resort is clean and maintained. This is definitely a new go to for our family! Highly recommend this location.

Almost Heaven, was just that. This was by far our favorite family vacation yet (and we are big travelers). The ease and convenience of this hidden gem of a community, access to the private beach, golf cart for use, and all of the recreational activities made for an incredible getaway for our family of 4. Mr. McDermott was an excellent communicator and there were no surprises or unexpected glitches due to his level of expertise. I already am looking forward to renting again! OSV and Murrells Inlet will always hold a special place in our hearts .
It really is Almost Heaven ⭐️
